Spider-man verus pt. I,Spiders and Bats, Oh My....

What is the history of the two legendary comic icons know as Bat-Man and Spider-Man? How are the connected besides just being fictional characters in a artistic way? Which of them is more popular in overallness? We know any hero by their greatest foes don't we?, of course their always great stories with both the Joker and the Green Goblin for their respected foes Bat-Man and Spider-Man.
But could you imagine if you will the total chaos those two could give the Web head & the Dark Knight if they teamed up. I'd tell you nothing would be left because as soon as both got rid of their pain they would murder each other just to be fair to themselves. Batman was created by Bob Kane in nineteen thirty nine in Detective Comics # 27 the Joker came into Batman's life in nineteen forty in Batman #1, Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee & Steve Ditko in the spring of nineteen sixty two. Now the Goblin came into Spidey's life in his second year of life in nineteen sixty four in Amazing Spider-Man # 14. I'm not sure of when I learn about Bat-Man I think it was through cartoons of Scooby Doo called the New ScoobyDoo movies and of course you know how I got into knowing Spider-man was from a coloring book in nineteen seventy five. As to how are both characters artistically related outside of never meeting but the have more on that in a moment. Spidey & Bats have both been drawn by comic artist Todd McFarlane , who now has his own comic character known as SPAWN. Batman & the wall crawler have met a very few times in the eighties and in the nineties as well here is their team up cover from nineteen ninety four. To me both characters are very rich in their source material, (hey wait isn't Spidey suppose to be a poor sucker all the time well yeah he is but it's all how one sees it) I guess.
