Was it I who was compairing "INJUSTICE GODS AMONG US to CIVIL WAR?", you will find the answer here....

Hello All,
Yes before we get going with the review of  "INJUSTICE GODS AMONG US" number three, I think I would like to explain something first and foremost for the reason why the text's tone has gone from the Man of Steel's weakness color of Green Kyrptonite is because the game is more than ampped  up against him in more than just what we have witnessed so far......

Which began with him and the Dark Knight spending sometime together on the roof of a Metropolis building talking of moments of joy

of having a kid with ever loving wife a certain Ms. Lane. That is about the most humanizing part of this whole story so far. But then Superman has to deal with what fate tosses him when the Joker throws him a chance to go all out psycho on the whole world because he made this happen
as we hear Batman's over toned voice questioning his very methods as to why did Joker start this war between the two of them........ in an unknown police station which in yesterday's installment I figured it was Arkaham Asylum in Gotham city, but alas it could be in Metropolis as well. Still while Bats is grilling his greatest foe Superman's emotional state brings him there as well we then

witness this. At the end of last issue of course we know that in fact while at the united nations Superman says " I don't care about your lands or your beliefs, I don't care about your petty squabbles. I don't care if you're a madman or a terrorist, a king or a PRESIDENT. you do not have a right to take innocent lives. I am calling for an immediate WORLD - WIDE ceasefire. All hostilities will stop immediately-- or I will stop them." and then we get a close up of his eyes never wavering and his last words before the issue ends are "IT'S OVER."

Here is the cover to

the third part of volume one of this still ongoing story even now......

It seems right away that no human authority pays any heed to Superman's warning, most notably the land of the free known as the united states. The air force tries to send a message that war will continue between it and  Bialya the country Superman is determined to protect at all or any cost! The members of the Justice League happen to have their own thoughts on things concerning
their friend or is he even that now among them. They decide to go back to earth to find out if any villain have broken the new cease fire agreement set in place by that very same friend.

Only to find that as a team effort it is well how can you say anything more than a all out brawl with nothing to show for the best laid plan to start with.
So the princess of paradise island makes up her own mind to see what happens if you oppose Superman in trying to be if not the world of man's sacrificial lamb of slaughter, maybe it's one savoir in turning Superman from world destroyer back to man of honoring being the hero he needs to be.... by arriving in Biayla and while stopping the united states forces from getting Superman ticked off

even more than he is! We find out that she runs into her own bit of trouble in the way of her foe the god known as

"The God of War".  Like every foe he tries to goad her in seeing things by his own way of a test to view her loyalty to her own reasons
, of truth..... by pushing her closer to the edge of no return an she still doesn't see but her mortal foe has still helped her changed to a villain against mankind. Simply by her actions

,which he just saw!

My Thoughts: There happens to be one other reason I chose Red as the color for this one that being of course from my childhood and watching various cartoons based off of the D.C. comics universe and remember an episode where Red Kryptonite affected Superman in a weird way if anyone can tell me it's effects on a Kryptonain it would be helpful? As to how this title fits in with Civil War from Marvel even though I'm still working my way through that I would say that Superman/Clark Kent "is pushing for" something unjust for his fellow superheroes, just as Iron Man/Tony Stark does with "ALL HEROES must reveal who they are if they are to work on the side of the law." Where as Batman/Bruce Wayne  is trying to keep the peace stabilized like Captain America/ Steve Rogers does in Civil War that's all I really know of that story other than one other thing but that is for another post to have be answered in.   I will say this for the series of "INJUSTICE GODS AMONG US" it is the only way to get into their new 52 comic storytelling at least I think so anyway, outside of it being Batman's seventy fifth anniversary as well!

As to where the story goes next, you know what you have to do "same corruption  time and Website of sorts....", on that last part of course!

Does only Violence remain in the heart of the Man of Steel?

Hello here to all who got a teary eye as to Superman's Actions,
As we saw with my very raw review of the first chapter of the comic trade of INJUSTICE GODS AMONG US, just yesterday with everything of the first part all leading up to this the death of
Lois Lane the love of Clark Kent better known to the world at large as Superman was tricked by Batman's arch foe the Joker into thinking she was a greater for of his own..... Then we come to find out that with Lois's demise something even more earth shattering happen to Metropolis itself, so what happens next in the series based on a multiple world wide game of comic book heroes and villains just well how can any word other than misbehaving fit right for the game called "INJUSTICE GODS AMONG US", be said! Let us find out in a split second of   a flash right now.....
Here is the very cover to the very issue we are going to be discussing in this very entry. As you can see it looks as if the main players are still just Superman and Batman which is what this first cover that used for part one showed with a small amount of difference. Outside of this being based on a video game itself comics in general have crossovers with each other just to let us know that there is more than just our one central focus of who we as the reader love more than anything in the whole wide world, in fact Detective Comics the publisher of these very heroes has a line of comics known as blank something "CRISIS" in which they do to not only update the characters status qua, but also to keep each generation of that hero in it's own set of time, still ever now and again they leave the option open for the next creative team of the book to have more than just their own set of stories to play with.  The game that is being represented here is like most one full of easy fist exchanging moments and the writer for the comic project is Tom Taylor who happens to really love the characters from the Superman universe so you can just imagine how hard it was for him to write Lois's final moment of life, just to make this project work, but at the same time D.C. comics can't use the Superman character like they had for many years after the death of his writer Jerry Siegel which I wrote about sometime last summer I think or the one before that one I'm sure! Anyway as a result D.C. can't use the direct story of him and Lois together so they created "the new 52 universe, line of comics" in two thousand and thirteen. It was later that very year when Netherrealm the gaming company approached Warner Brothers who owns Detective Comics about a game of using their comic characters. Chapter two of this six part story opens withagain a overtone of Batman's words as Superman returns to planet earth with a lifeless Lois  in his out stretched arms, only this time Batman's not sharing his internal thoughts with the readers he just so happens to be questioning the Joker in an unknown prison but knowing how it should be I think it the interrogation is occurring in Arkaham Asylum in Gotham city. Meanwhile the rest of the members of the Justice league are busy helping the rest of the citizens of Metropolis to safety whom aren't already dead  from the city's massive destruction from the bomb that Joker and Harley Qinn put into Lois Lane from before Superman thought he was again fighting DOOMSDAY. Wonder Woman is the only one of  justice league that dares come near the tearful man of steel who agrees to watch over Lois and the baby's shattered broken bodies, while he deals with something of his own type of soul searching. Harley Qinn by the way is on her way to being arranged as well, when she hears her own tearful news about her pal "Mister J" and is helped by my newest character that I'm getting to know from a certain television series on the C.W. network.....
While the last son of Krypton is stewing over how he should still be a factor for peace runs through his thoughts while in the fortress of solitude his mind is made up clearly of what he must do when he decides to show the president of a country called Bialya he tears the man apart in front of his own country men......but just then Wonder Woman helps him come to his senses or doe she?

My Thoughts: This seems very much like another comic book series to me known as Civil War.... I'm sure that if you were to read these first two issues you'd be thinking along those very lines as well. So heroes are going off their rockers so are villains the real heroes to look up to well maybe for when one reads crossover events like this I just say wow.... and go with it! Finally even though there only two parts of Injustice released on this site do you think it would be sweet to see these two crossovers merged into a live action movie or television series?

Finally getting into the story of.........

Hello ALL GAMERS, Comic fans, or just whoever you are.........
Well it only seems fair that I have to be honest and say that for a long while now most of  my free time has been in playing this much addicted online video game based off of the image seen

right here. The name of the game is called "INJUSTICE GODS AMONG US" it is also available on game systems such as the latest X-BOXES, PLAYSTATION 4s, and whatever is Nintendo latest upgrade and finally for your personal phone or tablet, which I have yet to talk about in my past vacation time to Minnesota and the Dakotas as well, when I first got it I without a doubt had to download it since it was free anyway. As you can see it has a fight feel to it and it was made by the last group company wise that worked on Mortal Kombat  games in the latter two thousands, they are called NetherReleam anyway this entry's not about my progress within the game itself but rather the very line of Detective Comics that are based off of the game itself!
About a week ago, I had picked up volume one of this trade of two at least so far that I know of for now anyway. When I did get this I also got a couple of comic trades of the one seen holding the chunk of kyptonite at the one shooting  laser beams from his peepers.....in the intro of the game Superman says "So many lives lost,  because I held back......" it also has a quote from the Barry Allen "Flash" character of "This  isn't what we signed up for, I let myself believe we are making a difference, but we are not ...." One from the Amazon Princess Wonder Woman that says "Man's temper for aggression can only be quelled, we are here to save mankind...."Superman's foe Lex Luthor is the only villain in the opening tease of the game and here is what he has to say "No good comes from Hero Worship.......", then of course their is detective comics' birthday boy of the year known as Batman, whose says this at the end of the intro of the game "We have hidden in the shadows for too long, We must stand up to this regime once and for all....." The first issue is set in the present time of D.C. Comics Current timeline or so it says with Batman looking over Gotham city and is deep in troubled thoughts for the whole city is too much at ease for his comfort, in fact he is scarred to admit that his alien friend of the justice league is at fault for all that now occurrences happening around the whole world! We jump back in time to five years ago.... it just so happens that Superman's human wife is pregnant with their child and Clark  is so nervous one night during the first trimester that he can't sleep, for he is well anyway you put it excited simply for he will soon know what being a father is like for he can hear two heart beats. Before he and Lois even finish their first fight of how to raise a baby with super powers, she gets a call on her cellphone from the Daily Planet where they both work to check out something with Jimmy Olson, yet before parting ways she tells him to have fun being a super hero.

The next thing we see is Superman is standing by as Batman is taking down some local Metropolis set of street thugs over wanting to know about some very sensitive knowledge from Star Labs. After finding out nothing for a moment, the two heroes head for the highest building tops in the city to have a late night chat, meanwhile in the night at the docks Jimmy is killed and Lois goes missing......the next morning Superman finds Olson's body on the docks and lets Bruce summon all the members of the Justice League to find his beloved Lois. After stopping the Joker and his crazed gal pal Harley Qinn from stealing a submarine which she named "Gunter"

So you'd think that the Joker and his girl win right?, well without giving away anything "Yes they do but no they don't as well?", say what?" as you can tell by reading this I went to the end of part one of this six part story without letting you know that something had to give to push Superman over the edge to become power mad in a way that Lex Luthor never attempted to do directly to pain the soul of his foe......and even though it's based off of a video game they had to have a tie in to the main D.C. universe at sometime!

So here is what happened Batman's got himself and Barry Allen the Flash searching out Metropolis where Superman can't for the very thing they are searching for is like the color of this very text and is capable of killing him. When the three met in Star Labs the man of steel loses it altogether after hearing who has his wife, when he finds the Joker and Harley Qinn over his wife at the docks he's right into his save her mode which turns out to be truly the no-no thing to do for Batman's foes have not only put superman in a no-win bind by having him see Lois as the character that killed him back in the early nineteen nineties, before they even tied the knot.....DOOMSDAY is certainly not the real threat at all unless you reach the end of the issue and see this......

Not only should Lois and the unborn baby be dead , but what the city of Metropolis itself? shouldn't be dust too?

My thoughts: It has as I have said a while since I've read any comic story at all, but that is just life sometimes..... Still I have to admit even though my tablet version of the game won't let me interact with the newest online part of it, I'm still waiting from the game programmers/designers to fix a few problems, I that will be soon hopefully. As for the art of the story it is both good and bad at the same time, good because it gives a bunch of comic artists work which is great! The bad for me on the art front is this it reminds me of what almost any direct tie to a movie looks like too dark with the inks of the characters, that why I don't like movie tie comics but for the stories sake I'm willing to give it a try.

75 years of Batman......

Hello All,
I am not sure were I wish this one to start with this one other than yes even though the guy known as the wall crawler is still my top number uno comic book super hero is this guy right here......

known as Peter Parker this very year two thousand fourteen or twenty fourteen if you prefer is the seventy fifth year of no not the first super hero ever, that guy's name also starts with a "S" as well! No the fella we are yet again shedding a light on is a guy that is much like Marvel's Tony Stark character of Iron Man in only one way the two fellas have a lot of what everyone could use these days money. His name just happens to be Bruce Wayne who at night and sometimes in the daytime as well is Batman. I will let you know that for me Matt Byrd he is my favorite character from the D.C. universe even over these three seen here

and since you all know I like these said comic characters do I really need to name them as well?, other than how I  have them set up picture wise I know you can figure out....just by using your noggin, what that means? Let's get back to Mister Wayne though shall we, he was created by two guys like Superman was in nineteen thirty eight, but his  start was a whole year later nineteen thirty nine with this as his debut issue cover

Detective Comics number twenty seven with the month of May as the release date, which back then was in reality was July/August or even maybe October who really knows....... I'm saying this with from what I think is informational correct with how long it took to see the returns on sales from Marvel, which was known as Timely Comics back in those days. It was when I got my copy of special edition of "BATMAN BEGINS" in the fall of two thousand six that it had included in the packaging a special seventy two page mini comic that featured Detective Comics number twenty seven as well. The mini comic contained a Batman story called "The Man Who Falls" and also the first chapter of "The Long Halloween". All three of those very stories helped define that film.Bruce Wayne no matter how you look at him was truly a character pushed to the edge to be
Batman, by witnessing his father Tomas and his mother Martha Wayne gunned down by a assassin's bullet when he was just eight years old. The Wayne's butler Alfred cares for the boy while he helps set up the lad future with his folks many money trusts, at the age of thirteen or maybe before that I'm not really sure but young Bruce comes into wanting to solve puzzles which he later apply to his training to keep himself fit when he first dons the famous grey and Blue tights. Batman's first appearance on film came in the late nineteen forties after his pal the boy wonder was introduced to the world and was revealed to be none other than Dick Grayson  his young ward as Bruce Wayne in Detective comics number
thirty eight, dated April nineteen forty. In these old sepia/black and white shorts Batman was played by Robert Lowery, and Robin was portrayed by John Duncan  and their adversary  was known as The Wizard and this short movie serial  went and ran before the main picture of a feature film of that era. It consisted of fifteen parts and nowadays is available   on either Netflix or the many other internet movie channels or it's found on DVD under

this title, Batman and Robin the complete 1949 movie serial collection. Of two guys I mentioned earlier I can say this of Batman's two creators one was very much a part of his mythology as the other who made his everyday look that we all have come to love, the man who came up with most of the character's story was a writer of comics like Stan Lee is of Spider-Man but his name isn't really associated  with Bruce or Batman as we should know it to be......in fact I happen to have this very card that

I'm showing you all here. Still everyone who is a fan of the character knows the name Kane or rather I should say Bob Kane who for the most part if not all together stole the shared limelight of Batman's humble beginnings, still one can't deny Kane's work of art

seen here help sell the character even over his own

design for the look as well. So even if Bill was the idea man for much of Batman's word balloons he ended up more like the Steve Ditko Spider-Man co-creator artist an unknown and uncredited part of Batman's lore, yet as I said Bob Kane's name is unanimously linked to Bruce Wayne. In fact I do seem to recall that I last year took on the appearance of one of Batman's most puzzling foes with a
added look of would anyone dare say his name of the Green Haired guy seen here
running or rather jumping away from our birthday boy of seventy five years.........

So just what is the "McFarlane Mystery"

Hello there all,
As you can without a doubt guess here is yet another Spider-Man Entry here at my site, and yes another thing in the way of words about the fella who really brought not just me alone back to the life of our web slinger  known to the world at large as the amazing spider-man.Still even though I always will love Todd McFarlane's art of spider-man so much I DO wish I could own  more than just the one piece that

I DO?  McFarlane, was as you know shot into mega stardom from his work with other famous comic book characters including my second favorite marvel character known as the incredible hulk as seen here

with his wife Betty Ross Banner. Sure I'll give you that I must be talking about one my pieces that I change every month but oh what a sneaky young lad that boy Todd was is all I can say about revealing something cool in one the page panels of what I will show you in a moment for DR WHO fans..... Yet before I do that what the month of  June of two thousand and fourteen held here at the site was a neat messed up version of one of Hulk's greatest brawling pals known as to me still as just Logan, even though I have the trade of Origin of  the guy that calls himself at times Weapon X yet here in this he just a mess no matter what? Here is June's plate here

was for the site. It is known by me as "Is Wolverine a Skrull Spy....?! by Adam White.  The most interesting thing about when Todd was working on The  Amazing Spider-Man comic book the company Marvel who makes the books had went and done something very cool to character of Peter Parker? What's that you say you never heard that Spider-Man had gotten hitch to his favorite red hair friend seen here

with him. Okay I know we as Spider-fans for the time being won't see the progression of a married Peter Parker till the current editors are booted out of  line of being in charge at the company, but still I have to say when Todd made this page

number fifteen for issue three hundred, did he let out his love for the kind of science fiction series be known? And if you don't know what it is that I am chattering on about look at the corner scrawl on the wall behind Peter's unknown stalker in the second panel of what I did have as my desktop image for the month of June of two thousand and fourteen. It just happened to be.......?
