Dinner with a grand friend

Hello everyone,
Today is grand for sure on two fronts because starting off with number two on this list today is the second day in a row that we who live here in Washington State get to feel the warmth of the sun for for the first time in at least three weeks time. All that time of the three weeks length of time was some very low fog like clouds, still with it being the middle of the Winter season anything could be possible and for around here in Eastern Washington it's mostly windy if not rainy most of the time, so I can see why my folks wanted to moved outside of the united States or at least a very tiny part anyway. Now as you read this, I'm sure you'll be looking at my many listings of these colors or even images like this

from my grand old days of Hanford High (1989-1991), way of life. Now that does seem weird that I was there for only three years of time out of four......well I can tell you if you explore this blog you'd know I'm just a normal person whom did have four years of high school under my belt just a bit in a long trail of explaining it all is rather awesome is all. Now as to why today is so rocking outside of the weather finally being super is this since this past August I have been trying to get together with my art teacher Maureen Mohatt to have a nice dinner and catch up on the fun of the ol days of sorts. This morning before jumping into shower I got a call from her for the set date being later today, before heading off to work. The day portion went by rather smoothly because I had this on my mind of course. While she was busy finishing up dinner her sister Colleen came by Albertsons to pick me up after I got off work which is six thirty, when we got there  she had Batman Begins playing on her television set and she was trying to get her two little kittens that are Sammie  to show off for me but for most of the night till close to the end "They just were unsure of that strange guy in the house," as both Colleen and Maureen said. We had some great conversation more about current stuff really than old days stuff but I had like Maureen did brought one of my many yearbooks to share she had pulled out some old art portfolios  of some later students after my time, we happen to of had for dinner organic pasta and a nice salad too. Then for desert we had but took mine home with me a lemon and chocolate  mini custard cakes. Maureen also let me choose a few DVDS of hers which I will get to someday I'm sure of that. Here is a bunny that she has in her dinning room

that is just so cool by the way, she showed me this because I'm still in the process of reading the original take on Alice's Adventures in wonderland by Lewis Carroll. She also showed me some wonderfulwal framed photos of her granddaughter and there were some stories behind those as well but kept to a minute or two since we were all so tired and sleepy in our own way, All in all I can say this I most certainly enjoyed my after work time for sure.

Tweleve, does this site know when to.....say what again?

Hello All
I bet none of you saw this coming or did you? we happen to have a new addition to site here even if you thought I was going to be talking about the famed Northwest champs of this year's upcoming Superbowl game known as the Seattl Seahawks then well your a punter with out your famed pigskin playing partner known as the ball. No in actually what my twelfth man type of topic is about is just that not counting myself of course..... earlier today my good friend that I have known since I was in my first year of high school at back then Thomas Wotton high school in Rockville, Maryland, in the year known as well

,as Star Trek The Next Generation's  first year on the air 1987. My newest friend was a Junior from at that school named Chan Hu who was my first friend in forever that I just respected as a good friend in the way that people should like a person for who they are. It was really that at the time of when I was in Maryland for what was to be originally a one year assignment of my step father Chuck Watson's work with Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratories, which I always remember for some great reason as the "overload back to my younger days when I was real little or super close to it anyway". So in truth my second year of Junior high was in eighty seven at Robert Frost in Montgomery county which is also part of Rockville even though we did live at the time in Gaithersbrug, Maryland that I recall mostly. So in 1988 was when I met our famous twelfth man

of this blog's followers and as I said before we have been friends ever since that time. I'm hoping that if Chan needs to know how much I consider him a true long distance friend he can contact me through a simple phone call since he knows my number, if he should ever need anything he knows I'm there for him as a good friend to unburden great subject matter with.

And now no more waiting....and more

Hello everyone,
Well I can tell you for darn sure I'm very happy that I stuck to my guns and did something about one part of the many things I happen to show here on this blog. I still can't believe through that it has taken me so long to get enough for holding these subjects I'm talking of? So what is it that I could always be forgetful of as it seems I'm talking in circles doesn't it well if you don't think so I at least know so for sure. I'm course also came across a huge decision to make as well, so I trying to figure this out on a sight only choice of the second topic for today, but let's get back first to the matter at hand of the main image.

Oh yes that's right now all you will go and do is try and find all of these little nuggets original postings so you can read your favorites I know. Whatever I'm handy dandy fine with that as well , but today I went over to Target not to get scammed boy that's still them for a long while huh?, what I got over there was and it took me a bit of a while to find them but I was hoping to find and did memory sticks for storage of photos or whatever and after looking around even more still I had also found a really cheap FOREIGNER music compact disc of "JUKEBOX HEROES"

for just five bucks how cool is that?  Then I had happen to of misplace what time it was and decided to go to Barnes & Nobles which just across the street from Target. I went of course to my favorites areas there first which is the New science fiction and fantasy section then I had found a new series of Si-Fi that caught me and got me thinking would this series be a jump start back into reading for me because for months and I don't know why I seem to lost interest in all forms of reading and I don't know why that is.....honestly I don't. The book I had found was  "Alien
in the House" by Gini Koch I couldn't find the first one right away but thought I'd order it online from Amazon or something. Then I headed over to the graphic novel section as I always do when I'm there and found a few tempting ones, of Star Wars or Batman stories collections. After choosing neither of those two books and the Star Wars one was real tempting I went to go pay for that one book I had, but was unsure if I really wanted it because I had asked that same store associate about the difference between a NOOK and a KINDLE and she had told me quite lot of course about the different type of NOOKS like what they were capable of and pricing for each one. I went and picked up some information that is free about the NOOKS. There are four type of NOOKS to choose from altogether, now I must say I'm still very much undecided at all either way of which one I will want to go with when I do make my over all decision up. I then went back over to the part of the science fiction section of where I had found the current "Alien in the house book and looked up on the shelf above where I had found the series to begin with and in that very corner was the first book so I decided to pick it and the second one up and give it a try I mean from reading the reviews on the other titles in the series I do believe I will like it since it's a combination of  "THE GHOST BUSTERS""MEN IN BLACK" and a bit of "THE X-MEN" thrown in for good measure how could it not be a fun reading experience. I will be finding out soon enough for sure count on it!

"GO HAWKS!"

Hello there all,
I'm really trying to remember the last time that I was so over juiced on any sport team at all?, I mean I know when playing any sport weather it is to be known as the best or at least in a certain way it is nice to know that you and your team mates have done all of the little things in the way of practice of keeping your cool when it comes time for the actual professional stuff for all who call you the rank of #1. Does it matter if you consider yourself a fan or like in my way at looking at things from a comic book collector A DIE HARD FAN either way I'm glad that everyone who happens to look upon these very pages realizes Changing up is a great thing at times..... The first time I paid attention to the Superbowl the biggest game of football history was when I was in the other Washington....or so to speak it was Maryland I was living in at the time, and I can only remember the Redskins as one of the teams playing but I can't recall the other of that winter of "86" game, I only remember a whole lot of new Star Trek talk and many classic Trek episode on W.G.N.  out of Chicago that same weekend. Still growing up as I've stated before I'm not huge fan of football but over the last few years I've seen the Super Bowls and cheered and booed as any somewhat fan would do, but today even though I can't upload photos (more on that soon) of the team that went up against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006's XL edition. I know that with Russell Wilson as their Quarter back, and game plan of Defense against the New Orleans Saints which also has an Russell inspiration player that plays for that team as QB, it's the talk and chatter or whatever you wish to call it the SeaHawks of  Seattle Washington and their great team effort of playing just to have fun as their coach Pete Carrol says after every game that makes this their first playoff game since early Winter of 2005  just all that much more enticing to wanna watch. Their regular games played this year till now has been twelve wins and only three losses, as to what today will bring as a end result you'll just have to wait and see.....which starts in     about twenty two minutes time from now. Oh before I go I wanted all comic book readers to know I was just flipping around on the boob tube and found a quick moment of with some teenagers chatting with Spawn creator Todd McFarlane but what I didn't know was the show called because I was trying to find my digital camera so fast, to get a photo of him or something of the sort, but they had moved on to some other guy who was a lawyer and was helping his son run the family practice. I then saw them on a bus that surprisingly had like Seah awk colors go and have an heater problem and the back of the bus was in flames. Luckily everyone was fine and the name of this series was "Road Trip", but I just thought of something that would be so flipping cool wouldn't it be neat to have McFarlane do a commission piece of Spawn and Russell Wilson throwing or tossing footballs and baseballs between one another and to make it even more exciting would be that the balls of both sports are on fire. I think Todd would do it since before he was going into comics he was in a pack ten team of baseball and he is also a collector of sport memorabilia that I do know for fact. For all football fans wanting to know what the final score is the Hawks win twenty three to a loss of New Orleans Saints fifteen, I hope all  who see the game enjoys it!

The Grand debate:

Hello All,
Well for today's topic of choice that I wanna share with you all it's about something that I have had since the early part of last September from last year. Now to be honest it was really part of my Halloween costume when I was
"The Riddler"this past year. Yes with me in the photo is my boss, she had promised me from back in Two thousand and twelve when I was good ol "Buzz Lightyear" that she would pose with me for a photo opp but she couldn't get away last year is what I'm getting at.Back to the matter at hand though,  I know in truth it really is up to me in the end results of things, the next day the first of November I had cut off my fancy "DK symbol" from my lower part of where my beard was.....(I know how sad was it that I couldn't still be making a fashion statement with it even till today, huh?, but at the same time could you imagine the amount of trips to the barber or stylist I'd had to make as well, what chore that would be huh). This photo of me and my brother Michael with our dad

should get my point across don't you all think so when I'm giving the whole wide world the input choice of "Should I or Shouldn't I? when it concerns that famous thing known as among other things to some as a cookie duster or famous coach from the Chicago Bears football team of the late nineteen eighties known Mike Ditka .
Either that or I'm sure it must be those old Saturday Night Live skits I'm truly thinking of that always end with the two fans of the team with Ditka like mustaches saying "DA BEARS" at the end of each of those given skits. I guess what it is I'm asking you all is should it stay or should it go???? you decide!

Finally a use for some old pics.......

Hello All,
Well today is how can I say it "A yet scary entry , but at the same time one that will keep your head spinning or at least the more appropriate word shall be rolling along" as you read about a place here in Richland that has been around even longer than the comic books I written about from time to time.  Yet for the longest time till nineteen ninety we used to also have one in the other city of the Tri-Cities area  of Kennwick Washington, it was called Stake West it was located over by the big mall we have there known as Columbia Center mall. So of course you all know that I'm talking about the staking place in Richland Washington seen here
still I know that your all wondering why am I bringing the girl that is now a teenager just at the end of last year or rather a few days ago I guess Heidi

into the tale of the Rollarena's big party of it's own, which celebrates being around not twenty years, or even forty seven for that matter......it's celebrating would you believe it, SIXTY years of being a fun place to hang out at. For me myself through it.....well let's just say for me it takes me back to being the grandest of all klutz because it was at this one where I just recall while in daycare I couldn't grasp balance for whatever reason. Still even through I could figure it out I will most surly admit I did love all of the songs that they played through out the whole building, which all flowed to here

where everyone could just skate your heart out weather you were a young kid to any pair of grandparents (if you so dared to be brave enough to entertain the kid at heart inside you). Some of the songs that I can remember them playing at times were "The EYE of the Tiger", "Cherry Pie", "Sara", Who ya gonna Call-" points to anyone and everyone who can name the artist who sang each these very tunes. Now for the last one I can't give you the next line the only true hint I can give you is this a clue is in the scariest month of the whole year, from last year. When Heidi's tenth birthday came around I can say this for sure I did almost pretty good for not hanging on the side of railings or hugging the wall if you will.....but earlier tonight for four hours from six to ten p.m. the Rollerena celebrated in style, I just wish I could have gone to see the smiles on everyone faces for catching me on stakes will almost always will be impossible for sure! If you would like

to know Rollerena's address it is on 849 Stevens, Drive in Richland Washington.

Who says it's just a new set of numbers?

Hello All,
Now you like me know that just a moment ago we have had that grand time of what's known as "Ringing in the NEW YEAR", which happens to be two thousand fourteen or twenty fourteen take your pick? But what really gets, me is everyone no matter who you are has decided to make a New Years Resolution of some kind. Be it to result in a greater hope of Goodness or betterment for your peace of mind, to help you throughout the coming year. What gets me tickled silly is that no matter who we are our holding true to sticking to our promise does eventually fall short does it not? , and the main reasons for falling short is simple we are just human, an we try to not fall from our own inner quest of staying faithful to our hope of sticking to our guns of truth. Let me ask you something have you ever been addicted to something that you love more than life itself. The reason that I'm bringing this very thing up is because even though last month was when we in  America and those who celebrated  the twenty fifth as more than just a day of presents alone, and recall why YOU want to help others less fortunate  than yourself can that being addicted to something makes you more understanding of why WE Must LOVE beyond reason of our follow human beings. Yes it is also good to be addicted to awful things that YOU YOURSELF KNOW ARE BAD  FOR YOU, AS WELL.....the reason that those last words are BOLD FACE CAPSIZED is so that ANYONE, AND EVERYONE DOES KNOW CHANGE IS ALWAYS A OPEN PROBABLE MEANS OF POSSIBILITY. That brings me all the more closer of showing you what I wanted to have either as the background plate here at the site, or as my wallpaper on my desktop over last month......but I DO WONDER is it right? to show it at all and my inner soul and heart keeps telling me "MATT JUST DO IT because it will HELP you with what pains you so much even if you don't want to face YOUR OWN DARKNESS Yet, so without further ado here is what keeps my everyday thoughts that much more pure:

I hope it will for many others as well?, as for my NEW YEAR Resolution I think and know that by being open to others with a very simple greeting of "Hello" is the best way of looking and knowing I can get to know others and respectful to them as well, and by doing this who knows of the endless possibility grander relationships with others that you meet everyday! Now let me show you my presents of the end of 2013 for all. Here was what I had as the site's plate
,the one thing I didn't know of when I had chosen it was that the video game hero was lip locking with good ol Saint Nick which can be taking many ways I guess? I want you to all know I only meant it as a Christmas choice nothing more than that. Now If you know me at all you all know of my love for a certain Red and Blue comic book superhero as my Christmas inspiration even if I don't like how his current story directions have been going for the past seven flipping years of time but without a doubt this very image

of Spidey waving to his everyday boss is well how can I say it, rather priceless because look at what he Peter wrapped his present in? Again I hope you will enjoy the coming New Year the best way you can hope for as it is written elsewhere, and now here as well "ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE, when you listen to what your soul is telling you about the meaning of life!
