The MINOR QUAKE that shook the east coast

Hello,
I know I may seem a little bit late with this one, and I'm sorry but at the time of when the event occurred I just couldn't find the way to want express my feelings on the MINOR QUAKE that started in Virginia two weeks ago. As I'm sure you all know it didn't do much in the way of causing chaos yet, it was felt as far west as North Carolina maybe even some parts of Atlanta Georgia and as far east as Pennsylvania and maybe even as far as New Hampshire. What I am most happy about after hearing about the earthquake on K-LOVE there were no injuries such as death recorded for this little surprise of earthshaking, I only heard that the Washington Monument got a couple of cracks out of it all. I hope that if you who are reading this knows of anyone on the east coast please be very thankful your friend or friends didn't get hurt. In fact tomorrow morning with all that is going on I will chat with my friend Chan Hu who lives in Maryland.

How darn lucky am I?

Boy what a breeze has been today, all weekend I was a little worried about where to go to for a blood test today. See all of Saturday and Friday to I had this sinking feeling I was gonna have to get up at the crack of dawn, but unlike when I DO get up which is mostly Saturday if you have read this blog before you'd know I go to a Men's Bible study and breakfast or from time to rare time catch a very early sunrise at least once a month if I feel up to it. Yet till five fifty eight yesterday evening I was assured I was doomed of getting to work real late today, here's why: I was thinking I would have to get up for this blood test at five this morning and start walking over towards the Tri Cities laboratory which is in Kennewick over by the Toyota Center and then on top of that have to catch a Ben Franklin Transit bus back over to Albertson's where I work, which would have gotten me there at ten fifteen when I would be two hours late for work, even if I was the first waiting in line at the lab anyway. Truly I have two things to thank for the actual quick answer one is that the receptiveness at Physician's Immediate Care for after thinking about it to long as I said I was down to one option with exception of thinking the Kennewick general hospital outlet behind Albertson's, she told me " That we don't draw blood here" I then asked her "Is there a place where a Tri Cities lab is closer than walking all that way over to that part of Kennewick I just described. I then just remembered as I was about to give up hope on the whole thing I asked "Is the building next to you guys here a place that would have one you think?" She pulled out the phone book and found out that the Kadelac clinic right next to them did have one. I asked her as well "Do you know what time they open at?" she said "No, but I would guess eight in the morning..." The other thing that I want to point out are not things at all but my parents Nancy Watson & my step father Chuck Watson whom decided a few years ago that they wanted me to be all the more independent than I was I had lived with them for quite a long time and they had wanted to enjoy their retirement years in a place called Cuenca Ecuador. Still they needed to find a reasonable living area for me near work and six years ago they had found somewhere being developed for persons like me with special needs which also you know where that comes from if you read here in the past. What I like about where I live I have everything available within walking distance which isn't half bad when I mostly get around by foot anyway. As to what the blood test is for is to see about if my seizure medication of Keppra is right for me. More on this later.

Are WE in WASHINGTON STATE having our own form of IRENE stromy wheater?

Boy what strong winds we are having in the Tri Cities tonight, I just came home from BLOCKBUSTER a little less than ten minutes ago, and to me it seemed pretty rough of trying to see my hand or even see what I was holding in them. The wind gust are still being felt on window panes, also I have heard it will be thundering and lighting later in the night, I do know that as I was crossing the street to go home I saw a water truck of the local fire station heading towards where a fire must have started, so yeah I would without a doubt say that tonight will be rough on youngsters who start school on Tuesday this week. I just hope also that I'll be able to sleep too, for the last time something spooked me was sometime ago last February. As I continue to write this I can just hear those vibrations I was just talking about on my own window, one thing I am sure of though is our quaint little area won't be needing to be rebuilt like a lot of places and homes in the southeast part of the country are finding out right now..... The only footnote I can think of to put here is prayers would be nice for those YOU know of in that part of the country, especially if you know you can't help by monies donation. I just heard some thunder so I am jumping off before I get a power surge of some kind.....

Transforming Vault

Hello fellow TRANS FANS,
I know that all of you who visit here know that I am a big kid without mentioning it for the one trillionth time yet again. You also seem to be in tuned that I love those things of the path ways of the brain known as memories of that very nature harking back to those times and sharing them no matter the cost. Boy does that ever
sound like a movie line, Well it was spoken by Optimus Prime in the start of this scene

before his death by his adversary Megatron whom he seems to have pinned down right here, anyway. As a on again off again fan myself of these robots in disguise known as the TRANSFORMERS I have to let you see this little
gem I found from earlier this summer at my local Branes & Nobles bookstore when I went to go see the movie "SUPER 8" only to find out it's run in theaters had ended just a day before that was on the first full weekend after I got back from Ecuador in June. When I saw this I thought for sure it was just yet again more re printings of all other TRANSFORMERS collections in someway or other. Boy was I ever wrong?, I found myself thinking of what did it have that does separates it from all other toy lines of that time in the nineteen eighties. Also I was eager to find out more about the histories of the varied comic that Marvel comics had produced and it's European counterparts I was in for more surprises than I knew besides that as well. So I knew that I was really wanting to get it for my friend Jeff whom I talk about a lot here, for it was soon to be his B-day real soon at the time of when I first saw this I had happen to get him something else just as equally full filling all the same. Maybe sometime soon I will let you know who is my favorite TRANSFORMER is?

From in my revamped J-Pegs I have to send out a thank you

Here's a great whopper of a entry yet again,
What a great day today has been I got caught up on putting out a entry about the cancelled sci fi series "V" which I DO hope that someone will pick it up before the new tv season for two thousand elven starts here my fingers are crossed. When I went into one of my picture folders to retrieve a couple of images from ALIAS and LOST I had happen to find this phot
o of my first in a very long time relationships of with a young lady by the name of Krystal Roberts, from back in late two thousand and one to two thousand and three. I thought that when I got those J-Pegs on my Kingston memory stick in latter July of this year from my friend Jeff I thought for sure it was the one that was erased completely from the transfer of those files. See what had happen was in one of the folders of J-Pegs related to my Sci-Fi series as it was known as had one image that would not copy over to the stick. I with my luck thought for some reason it was the very picture of Ms Roberts shown above that I had gotten from her MYSPACE profile. Now knowing that it wasn't that image I want to thank God and Jeff my very good pal for saving my photos of J-Pegs or whatever these buggers are called for as you know computer lingo keeps changing what we call things no matter what we want them to be known as because everything is always changing in computer knowledge everywhere we turn. I hope in some way computer related way if need be I can help Jeff out any day for he knows I DO TRY TO HELP HIM IN OTHER THANKFUL NEEDED THINGS WHEN THAT NEED DOES ARISE!

This whole week has beeen faulted by yours truly

Hello,
Boy talk about a lot of free time on my hands, I still can't believe that it had occurred the way THAT it did either. See back when I was about to leave for Ecuador to visit my folks in May of this year instead of the usual April part of the year that I did do two years in a row before, I was talking to my ol good friend Steve Brehm in March or April of this year when he brought up that later this year in the month of August we would be having our twentieth school reunion of HANFORD HIGH class of "1991 "I have to admit for a short while I really thought nothing of it right at first. (well maybe just a small bit I did) After coming back from seeing my folks in Cuenca Ecuador with my two nieces from Minnesota, within the second day of being back at Alby as I nickname my workplace on the scheduling calendar I put on it I wanted "Aug 12th thru 14th off for HS class reunion.....well throughout the month of July I thought nothing of it...but maybe I sure as heck should have.... For here is what DID happen, an in the end I know it was only one person's fault, I will get to THAT in a moment... So of course the time for the whole class reunion has come and gone as it should have, read more on this in "Week long build up to Hanford High's class of "91" class reunion (1 thru 10)". So on Sunday the fifteenth I go to check on my work schedule for the fore coming week when I look at it I see that I have the WHOLE WEEK till today's date off from work?, I went over there at a little after ten on Monday morning to try and find out what was the miss hap on their part was while on the walk over I truly realized it was "MY OWN FAULT" and "NOT THEIRS". I had explained the confusion was on my part to my boss's assistant and she told me she would call Kelsey and see what could be done about the whole screw up anyway. When I didn't hear back from her I went on over on Wednesday to talk to Kelsey myself and explained the whole thing through and through and told her it was "MY FAULT and NOT THEIRS" and here is why? I had written the dates fine expect for one very little thing, when I was writing it on the calendar I was excited to going home that I had without knowing it made the four look like you guessed it right if you said a nine.

What is a guy to do?

For food lovers in a way this is for you, kinda?: But for anyone else it maybe just happenstance I just don't know,
Before I tell you about what happen from just on my return stroll from SUBWAY well actually it was on the way there but first here something strange that had happen to me from just a couple of years ago shortly before our Christmas Eve closing time at Albertson's. While the popcorn vendor guys of Kettle corn were getting ready to close up shop in front of the outside of the store someone went and dropped some Molasses on the curb. The store sent me to clean it up which was super easy because the Kettle corn people let me use their remaining vinegar to get it up faster and easier than with paper towels and a broom and dustpan alone, well as I was getting super close to done a car full of young girls at least to that what they seemed like. Stuck their heads out of the windows of the moving vehicle roared out "Hey there Sexy" or and also "Good Looking" I turned to one Kettle corn worker named Brain and he just gave me this look with a wink in his eye pointing at me and said "There's your
Christmas present right there Matty boy I'm telling ya!" I said back to him " Maybe yeah?, but still they seem to young for me" to that he had said "ahhh come on don't always look a comment or saying by anyone especially a young lady as bad thing and what does age have to do with it when they are letting you know it in a truthful or playful meaning?, just take as it is." He in a way gave me a lot to think about is all I'll say there. Well anyway back to a few minutes ago I was waiting for the crosswalk signal to change and on the other side the crosswalk waiting was a guy much younger than me on his roller blades heading home, and there was this white car at the turn lane over by Wal-greens. So the light turns green and the walking white light comes on and the roller bladder is already across the street in two seconds flat I then cross and when I'm near the sidewalk curb the car goes turning right and it's some young ladies I can tell and all together it was five of them and they shouted "Hey good looking" and Hey sexy man..." I know it was probably directed at the Roller balding dude, but he was long outta sight for these ladies to see so I guess even if I don't wanna admit it I must have something about my definable looks that I'm not aware of and most definitely not being honest with myself about when young women take a interest in me as a person instead of just a hopeful plaything?

My Daily Spider folder is messed up

Hello to all,
I know that not very long ago I was sharing with you all about my own wonderment of computer lack fullness of when something I did last month made me lose almost all of my stored J-peg files. Yet before I go into a lot of detail I wanna say when I was looking at my blog tracker counter of visitors to here I just gotta say I felt like I was kinda like a certain convent store that sells Surplees, BIG GULPS, and there are very few left as far as I know of. Here is what the count was at two forty two today 7111 so of course you can see what I'm pointing at hopefully?, well back to the real propose of this very posting you would be wrong to think I had ONLY one picture folder of my greatest comic book character seen here is he known as the greatest hero ever known as Superman, or maybe this could be Captain Ame rica , no wait that is wrong as well maybe he is known as webby flag boy, nah you all know him as I do as the amazing wall crawling dude called Slippery slogger, but seriously as Spider-Man. I actually happen to have five picture folders for my main man but this is because I happen to have my personal ones with him (or at least I DID before July third of this year in a separate folder altogether) . Anyway besides stuff like this where he's trying to hang with Fantastic 4 pal Ben Grimm better known as the ever loving THING, I am talking about my folder that I call "Spider-Man Newspaper Strips", which is where I store these ,
, from the website known as Crawlspace. Yesterday I realized some of these in the folder were saved as this March24,2010 or maybe they were like this May 29,2009 and I had been trying to save the J-peg as with the latter of late so I went into the folder to try and find all the ones that had no spaces then after working with it for a good forty five minutes or so I thought I could make it so much easier on myself by going into the toolbar of my menu and have all of them line up like I was wanting, I went to Arrange by key and highlighted NAME. It took it a moment and I thought I was gonna be proud of my little endeavor, ONLY to find out it wasn't what I was wanting after all so now I have to restore each day of three years of Spider-Man daily comic strips. Although in the end it's better than me ONCE AGAIN deleting a whole folder and having to start ALL OVER YET AGAIN, I guess.

Week long build up to Hanford High's "class of 91 class reunion" pt. 6 of 10......

Hello to all fellow Flaconites,
At the beginning of our class's senior planning committee which was held on August twenty seventh nineteen ninety I had decided to take part of being on the board as a observer, mainly because I felt it was time to show my own class faith, since till now I never did. It was fun seeing in the library the planning of social activities like naming the homecoming dance, and senior awards which would be held in May of nineteen ninety one. Also what day the whole class would be standing on the famous H outside

the gymnasium. We also thought out our class motto and song that day. Now about that day in May which was the third, the whole class met down at the Shillo Inn in the farthest part of town as you exit on the freeway into other parts of our little boarding towns known as Tri Cities Washington. We had a fine dinner of chicken Parmesan with fresh vegetables or I'm pretty sure prime rib as a choice as well, after everyone had filled their tummies up we had what we called Class recognition of who was the best at what they did weather it be who yappers the most (boy I just wonder about that one don't you, it couldn't be anyone you know?, maybe the writer of this little entry, Nah no way?), to who has the fastest car, or even Who's most likely to Marry? Well here is a group shot of what I got that very night: Can't quite see what they are can you so I'll tell you and as I have said before or if I never did one at least surprised the heck outta me?, I will also share my female counterpart as well sound fair. My first award, was simply for what I try to do or what any one of us strive for most of all in this crazy little world of ours, and that is to be as "Most Friendliest" as possible. My classmate that shared this with me Nicole Peterson. My second award was the one that surprised me most of all of the three that I received was that my whole class for some strange reason voted me Matt the was
Most Inspirational of the fellas I was awe struck as I said before and to this day still am I guess? As to my female counter here was my good friend Jen Wicks. Finally the one that I truly got as my first at the time was no surprise to anyone especially since everyone in the room shouted ah that's gotta be By
rdman Matt for sure!!!!" All I could say was "me????? ,yeah like I didn't know this one either??? ,huh????" It was of course what I doing to all of you right now and no it's NOT writing, it's "Most Talkative". My counter partner here was my good friend as well Julianne Rosenwald, now before I go I will share the answer to the Hanford High's awards for the other two nominates of the class of nineteen ninety one of who had the fastest car was Sara Chamberlin for the gals and for us guys it was John Phillips. Who was it who was "Most Likely to Marry: Michelle Clark & Jim Acquavella you wanna know something (Funny.....they did!)

Week long build up to Hanford High's "class of 91 class reunion" pt. 5 of 10......

Hello friends from a time ol so long ago,
I know that last time in these reunion outings, I was talking about some memories related to the whole of some specia
l moments from back in my days of at my high school. Yet even though this is in part some of the same it's about something called events from then as well, as I had said in the last part as a teen "we" by "we" I mean you as well, back in those days everyone tried to find a certain "crowd" or "group" to fit in with, please don't try to deny it either because here is why anyone wants so much to fit in.You never want to be left out of the good times with your friends no matter what! Also last time, I told you I wasn't big on being a yapper didn't I well I will get to that in a moment or two, but first more on those great memories I was just talking about as well. Remember "Happy Birthday, to the girl who's birthday I won't ever forget" well as I remember I tired asking her out for our school's Home coming dance called "The Mystical Orient" and of course she turned me down, but I still no matter what knew that I had to go to this besides it being the last woo hay to have a time to dance the night away till the end of the year dance craze known as Prom. So I had happen to ask out Christine Lini I have posted that photo here last year on October 10, but here it is all the same, it's to bad we couldn't find anything relate able besides it being a dance to either of us. I just hope if she is reading this she sees that I liked it as best as I could. The other events I recall going to are the home football games on Friday nights, yelling at the top of my lungs boo to the other team we were playing, Sadie hawking dance, and course signing all of the fellow classes yearbooks. Through out our year as with any class something was happening in a way that come May of that year something was gonna happen before our big day known as graduation.....

Week long build up to Hanford High's "class of 91 class reunion" pt 4 of 10......

Falcon pals,
As I sit here trying find the best ways of putting together a collection of pieces of many puzzles that date back to the year known as "91" I can remember that over the course of that whole time of those years in high school showed me what life was like outside of everyday being the same day in and day out. One of the greatest things I certainly recall relating to now as well the whole part of my Senior year and off and on during my Junior year as well, I walked two and half miles from the school to home everyday. Those walks were very pleasant in fact I remember over my Junior summer I had heard a song on the radio that for at the time brought a shallow unnerved young teenager outta his cocoon of mixed feelings the song was either by the group known as Starship or Bad company it was called "If you needed somebody" it was how the lyric went that always got to me in understanding true friendships between a boy and a girl being something you can't shun yourself away from. I will never forget how awkward I felt in social settings with my high school buddies being that I felt it was about how popular you were as to what mattered most. So in my case to being popular I was the one that without a doubt as if you couldn't tell always had my yapper open about something, mostly Spider-Man as I still do today...(don't worry there will be more on this soon in another installment)

Week long build up to Hanford High's "class of 91 class reunion" pt. 3 of 10......

Hail the year remembered as 1991,
When you have been through three years of high school (grades ninth through eleventh) most anyone is all set for the fourth coming year
number four better known as one's senior year. Well I was and wasn't ready for it, (more on this real soon). I remember getting at least half of the monies together for these
from my paper route that I had had since my sophomore summer and yes I was still just starting to get into the mega collector stage with all Spider-Man comics of that time as well. So why is it that we always strive when we are young for the different poses when we grab our given moment for the thing called the yearbook. Outside of the plain obvious, for moments like this to reflect on the past it also shows a hint of one hopes for the future as well, I can still remember before that year started for school the class picnic down at Leslie Grove park, we in a sense all got to say "How was your summer?" to our best friends and some new ones as well or at least for me it was that way in part. At the end of October of this year every one of the senior class got to send out to family and friends far away these at the bottom of the very same picture a class of 91 invite to come to see their proudest moment in life so far. Here is what they read like on the inside of the invitation "Baccalaureate Wednesday evening, May twenty-ninth seven o'clock Christ the King church, The class of Nineteen Hundred Ninety-one Hanford High School announces it's Commencement Exercises Friday evening June seventh seven-thirty o'clock Falcon Gymnasium, Class Motto To Accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe." I seem to recall something very special came with the one I had sent to Columbus Georgia when my mother's parents and a aunt came for the said event known as Graduation.......

Week long build up to Hanford High's "class of 91 class reunion" pt. 2 of 10......

Hey halls of Hanford memonites,
I want to share more about high school dazes for another day if you all don't mind?, yet first I feel I should let all of my readers k
now that Hanford even though it was my main educating fort of learning I also happen to have had another fort of high school direction from in Rockville Maryland at a school known as Wotton High here is what that school looked like when I was attending. I have to say there were a few good things about that time in my life that were very promising: number one would be meeting my dear friend Chan Hu who at that time was junior class member who has remained my friend throughout these many years as well. The second thing that was and is most important about that frame of time in my life I found in nineteen eighty six that my learning curve was much higher than first thought from a extraterritorial test from at where I was attending my second year of junior high that proved even though I have always had cerebral palsy from at birth I never really needed to be in special eduction classes all the time. Which was from first grade to seventh at various schools here in Washington state. For how the schooling system here in Washington was I couldn't just abandon the resources of the special ed classing if I was going to be graduating for how the school board saw things, so upon returning from Maryland my mother and Chuck approached this in a way that would still benefit me, they asked the board of eduction to re examine my records from Maryland and see how I would fair in regular mainstream classes with having the Special ed part be my study hall time to catch up on my work from those classes. For a bit time at first it was hard for the teachers in the class without knowing it kept hampering me that I had to do a small amount of special ed homework, but in the end after staying up late to finish most of my regular classwork I made it to a great day on June seventh in nineteen ninety one of grand achievement for sure......

Week long build up to Hanford High's "class of 91 class reunion" pt. 1 of 10......

Hey there fellow Falconers,
I 'm not really sure where I want to start this from other than that I'm hoping every one who does read it appreciates the good memories I wanting to share with "ALL READERS" of Day life of the Matt. I am as you can tell very excited about what will be coming up at the end of next week, my High school Reunion of Hanford High class of nineteen ninety one. Why your ask?, why besides seeing everyone I knew as a teenager back then when we all thought we had made the best of getting through everyday workloads of classwork to earn our way to showing the world we are ready for it and all it has to give us is just the start of any young teens hard pay off of educating to start with. After high school everyone must find work and prove to whoever their employers are as well as themselves that they can handle what is called living your life, For some people they decide to continue their education by going to collage to earn a better degree to work at what they always have dreamed of their Dream job, others decide to join a part of government work outside of being a politic figure, they do this by joining a branch of what the government calls military duty, some decide to goof off their final summer that is theirs (I know that I did at first try to do this), some have to continue to help their parents or learn what it is like to be dealing being a parent themselves. I wanted to really start this out by saying when your young you maybe smart or not but eventually you come to terms with your whole being just out of high school as to where you life will be what you make of it? And as you know my first year of high school wasn't here in Washington state but a whole other state known as Maryland and over there I was a Patriot at at school called Wotton high, more on that tomorrow as I look back into my past growing up.......

Finally seeing my little friend again

Hey there reader world,
I still can't believe it?, it has been quite a long while since I have seen this very meaningful little friend of mine. Her name is Gabbi and I do love to talk about her from time to time here just because..... Well see she and her mom and dad went to go see some cousins of his side of the family that happen to live in Spain. Shortly before I left to adventure in Cuenca Ecuador she and her mom Lisa told me that a week after I was planning my trek outta the USA that she and Gabbi were "Going to Spain to visit Julianna's family over the end of the month of June through to the time of the hydroplane boat racing time was when they would be around the Tri-Cities again, with Juliann catching up to them closer to the fourth of July." Well here and then came and I'd seen Juliann a couple times at the store and he said "That they were at it again still vacationing, only now they were in Walla Walla for a little while and not to fret I'd see them both again real soon." Lo and behold today, as I was rounding a corner to go wipe down the outside parts of opening courtesy I walked right into who Lisa and Gabbi who were getting her lunch for going to a friend pool party. The one thing I told Gabbi was that "I didn't get her the special hair clips she wanted while in Ecuador, but still I got you something I'm sure she will like all the same..." Which I sure she will without a doubt?, boy seeing both them made my whole soul gleam the rest of the day away which was very rewarding all in all I just gotta say again "Welcome back home Gabbi and Lisa"

Time for a very heated type of change

HOT Enough for ya,
Well today as far as I know has been the hottest yet, as far as I know temperature wise. Here is how I know this for sure as a roasted turkey at Thanksgiving time tries to avoid being killed for a festive feast, two hours before my shift ended I was pulling apart two of Albertson's mini carts that like the regular size ones do every once in a great while, got stuck into each other. I spent at
least seven minutes trying pull them apart when within the third minute I had my face be like a wet mop of sweat. So here was another quick way of finding this out after work I walked my usual path to get some walking in and four times I felt like my face was like a fried egg if not a boiled one. When I came by Hapo a bank that is on the way home said 95% degrees I can tell you the truth I am not sure how HOT it was really but it felt like it was that muggy out, for darn sure. Well with today being the beginning of the eighth month of the year you know what that means here at this blog site right?, If don't know it's time for the previous moth's hidden plate here to be revealed in it entirely. It is also when I show you all what has been on my desktop for the last month as well. Do you wanna know why I chose "CAPTAIN AMERICA" as my two choices and no the answer is NOT because he had a new movie come out last month either. Nor was it because as I said before he and a certain D.C. comics character have a flag as their choice of duds. I believe my main reason for choosing them was for America's big BASH known better as the 4th of July, "Nuff Said!"
