NO SPIDERMAN 4?

What is going on in the world is going on in the movie business?, I've been home for two and half hours already and have seen only Bad things for a fourth SPIDER-MAN movie this is just crazy I tell you! I can't believe that Marvel or now it's parent owner Disney is letting this happened to their prize investment period? The news that I've heard is SPIDER-MAN 4 is scrapped completely. I've been all over the internet on my spider-man related sites one you all know as Spider man crawl space the other you may not know is one called comicvine.com, to say as I read all of these updates tonight really does upsets me is a understatement to say in any form. I mean how can you take a prize winning movie franchises that as a whole world wide has brought in over hundreds of millions of dollars it's exact count was 2,496,346,518 billion and then just kill it because of scripts problems for it's fourth film release?, but at the same time announce a reboot for it the same day you've just done that?, Well Sony/Columbia pictures has done just that with the whole SPIDER-MAN Franchise. SPIDER-MAN itself had problems when it was going to be original released in the summer of two thousand one, because a week of it's movie trailer's release was one week before 9/11. They pulled the trailer because it had Spidey webbing a escaping helicopter in between the fallen Twin Towers in New York, so instead the movie to come out a year later. SPIDER-MAN opened on May 3rd,2002 I saw it two times in it opening weekend which opened with this as a payday 114,844,116 million all together world wide it made 821,708,551 million. Not bad when I always considered D.C. Comics SUPERMAN from nineteen seventy eight that I knew to be the ULTIMATE superhero movie of all time till SPIDER-MAN was released. I happen to see it seven more times so I added to it's over all world wide grossing of 821,708,551 million take not bad for a film that ran for a length of two hours and one minute. The first SPIDER-MAN starred Kristen Dunst from (Bring it On) starred as Spidey's girl Mary Jane Watson, Willem Dafoe from (Platoon) starred as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, who played the part of the hero you maybe ask yourselves?, the young man who played Peter Parker/Spider-man was (Wonder boys/The Cinder house rules) Tobey Maguire. Here's a photo of them at the opening of the movie in Los Angles California. SPIDER-MAN is or was any fan boy's closest presentation of webhead in live action or in top movie treatment, since the god awful the Amazing Spider-Man of nineteen seventies

which starred Nicholas Hammond from (the sixties movie called the Sound of Music) as Peter Parker in this series Spidey didn't have a girlfriend at all. Sadly this Spider-Man lasted only fourteen episodes, there's one thing this version and the current movies had in common it was that they are owned movie production wise by COLUMBIA PICTURES. Finally before we leave the first movie here's the scene that Spider-Fans were wowed by Spider-Man had just saved Mary Jane from a group of muggers in a alley she rewards him with a kiss here is where she's just starting to lift up his mask. In the mist of the production of SPIDER-MAN2 Sony pictures who was teamed with the aforementioned Columbia Pictures made a bridge between the two films in an animation format and sold it to M-TV (that's Music Television for those who maybe wondering what that stands for), it lasted only twelve episodes but it brought not only a movie side of things together it also told some cool comic stories as well. The one thing I liked most about that we'll never get to see is the Lizard story, except in animated format. Where they just kept putting that story on the back burner in the actual movies. All I know is that they could have had the best Computer Generated Imagery for that character it would have been like a Todd McFarlane's illustration come to life. Todd McFarlane was a Spidey artist on the comic book in the late eighties. Although I have not seen the end of this animated series myself yet I do have to say I like how each form of Spider-Man weather whatever the media it is presented in always has a cool way of having his identity revealed. This focused on of course Peter Parker, Harry Osborn , & Mary Jane Watson the three main characters in the movies themselves.
After the short lived M-TV cartoon series came the squeal to SPIDERMAN known as SPIDERMAN 2 in this one he finds a foe in a teacher which is common in his comic book series, but this was the first villain that had handed Parker his very first defeat wwwwwwaaaaayyyyyy BBBBBAAAACCCCKKKK in nineteen sixty three when the character was just starting to get his feet wet in fighting super villains with this very cover

and the villain known as Otto Octivus better known as Doctor Octopus. In the second SPIDER-MAN film

Peter was now a collage student and Otto was his teacher of fission reaction, which he had hopes of harvesting into a micro fission battery, through this he became DOC OCK, a legendary
nickname for the character by Stan Lee the man himself.Throughout the film we also see the growth of characters like Aunt May differ greatly from her (comic book counterpart) at least for a little while longer at any rate. But Johna Jameson is still very much his character as in the comics till this very day,We get to meet Curt Connors whom was only mentioned by Harry Osborn in the last film, and Harry himself has startling developments towards a cretin family legacy. This film also has the greatest Spider-man moment in it straight out the early comics themselves with this ol "web head's" second artist John Romita, with his artwork from page eight of the classic Amazing Spider-Man #50.What is also neat is that this film also has Jean Luc Picard's never aging girlfriend in it from Star Trek third next Gen flick known as "INSURRECTION" here she is Otto's wife before he decides to go all crazy loon like. In fact this one has only one sequence which flaws the whole picture can you guess what it is?, it when he wakes up in the hospital and realizes that his new mechanical harness is fused completely to his brain and he lasses out by killing his doctors with them (if you look very closely you can see where in the editing room they forgot to take out a wire holding the smashing arm ashe does in the last one).

Now with all this behind them in
two thousand three right after Tobey got finished with his movie "Seabiscuit"
he and the Spidey director Sam Rami along with Kristen D
unst , as MJ once again set forth production on this here To say that third wall crawler flick was great would ba a grand lie, but if your a true Parker fan you understand why it had happen to have so many flaws. Everyone was wanting to put their hands on it in someway or other Rami wanted two villains or at least it seemed that way with the Green Goblin and the Sandman, he then threw in the long forgotten Spidey gal Miss Gwen Stacy for a added love match for Peter to wonder about marriage to Mary Jane like in the comics, only ONE major problem there even though she was thought of in Amazing Spider-Man annual #21 she had been dead in the comics since March of "73" with a summer cover date of June. Yet Marvel the company who owned the rights to the characters wanted to tie in the books with the movie itself so they got Rami to put in the Black suited character known as a symbitote host suit in the comics that later become Venom was wanted in the movie story even though Rami wasn't it Marvel decided after their big event called Civil WAR Parker would face tough times ahead in a story arc "BACK IN BLACK" which if your a true Spidey you already knew what it lead to after using the Aunt May's at death's door device, need I say it? I just looked today on the Spider-Man website and found out that all production for fourth film is canceled altogether ! Which just sad for those wished to see more of the ol' Parker luck with this movie cast ........
