who is more relatable in religious circles Superman or the web head?

Before I begin this little debate over who of the top two "S" titled comic book characters is more relate able to any children when asking about relating those heroes to Religion, Does anyone remember this
from a set of blogs I entitled "Why do I love spider-man over any other comicbook character?", please check them out when you wish they are in the 2008 reading list. Let me ask you a very simple question that without a doubt may have a lot of answers or maybe not a one at all. "Have you ever sat down and thought how much pop culture helps little kids understand things a lot more easily, when trying to share abo
ut important subject matters? Like for example when relating to a child on their level of understanding on matters of change for a period of time on something like "We are going to be moving soon to a new home, and you'll get lots of new experiences to meet new people and make new friends" of course a kid being a kid "WILL PUT UP SOME KINDA FIGHT IN THIS AREA OR at LEAST I DID anyway, now though looking back on it I wonder why?". So let say your talking to children about GOD'S WORD better known as the BIBLE how do you relate the promises of the LORD'S goodness of virtue when talking about GOOD vs EVIL?, I think the best way would be to asking the child if they know a person that they call a hero if they do say my father or mother and even some other family member applaud them for looking at their mentors as their character builders of life. If they completely ignore your question altogether try using this tact "Okay then if not your real world relationships how about your everyday four colored world of comic book superheroes character?, most would say this fella shown here: ,well the one most people are familiar is the one on the left side of the title of the story called ol' Green Skin, both are part of the man known as Bruce Banner and children will tell you of their rage mostly if not it being all time. Which this is great for relating to misunderstandings of evils like we all do more than not!
Then you ask the same question again about "Which SUPER HERO of those comics BEST represents a closeness to you and the heavenly father and his son known as JESUS? It may take a moment or two but, more than likely it will boil down to these two .Well earlier this morning I was some how thinking about that said question myself while listing to K-LOVE and in a news bit they said of children polled on this very question were asked of it most of them would choose get this not the one you'd bethinking of Which would be in truth SUPERMAN, Right? well think of his story for a minute HE is sent from his dying planet called KRYPTON by HIS FATHER to a new home called EARTH? to help us mere humans know of the "POWER OF RESPECT of "ANY OUTSIDER" has love for everyone, this here sounds like GOD'S word of what happens to those who follow his SON'S teachings of understanding LOVE will be rewarded with" EVER LASTING LIFE". /span> Surprisingly though more kids can relate to ol' Spidey more so than the "MAN OF STEEL" one of Superman's better known nicknames, here is a couple of panels

that I have shown here before of how Peter Parker relates to the man known as GOD these are from PETER PARKER SPIDER-MAN Volume 2 issue # 48. Stan Lee, Peter Parker's creator has always maintained that when he started with Timely Comics/Marvel he himself nor any of the other writers or artists really ever felt the need to put into focus a message of Religious overtones into any of the characters that they created so very long ago. I am sure though that even that still holds true for comic story telling at Marvel, it by NO MEANS DOESN'T make the average comic book reader whether old or young at least a tad bit curious of what the personal faith of their super hero is? A few years ago I was sorta wondering this very question myself not so much of narrowing it down to just two comic book superheroes but out of all of them how do superheroes relate to Religion if they even do at all? I was out at the local Tri Cities PARABLE CHRISTIN BOOKSTORE looking for yet another thing altogether I am sure it was a copy of a Chris Rice CD the one with my favorite song of all that gives me peace when thing of the almighty GOD. When instead I found this, inside is a Real treasure trove of what you can NEVER find out of your inner hero whomever they are? I am sure that there are other type of books like this out there but none get to the truth of the matter more than this one. So who of Superman or Spider-man are more tied to understanding within any religious circle is , Spider-man but are there websites that tell you the faith of any superheros in the sense of which denomination that they are personally a part of? Yes there is at least one and here is the link to it
Religion of Characters, search all fields for: Peter_Parker (characters 101 up to 150) , what is also very neat about this said site is that they also have religious beliefs of all comics supporting cast as well as the many Jokers or Green Goblins you wanna find out about it has them as well the every loving villains view on Religion too.

Weighing of a scale sale by surprise

Boy do I feel a weight off my shoulders after today?, as you all know lately I have taken to my very fiber of being to heart after what my doctor Ibrahim Abdulrahman said of excising as much as possible by walking before work still trying to get use to that, and at work and finding my mind being clear in the way of thinking. Yet I will have to say today besides all that leg stretching I have been doing I also went over to Wall Greens and was set on getting a scale to help me stay in the right path of never wavering in knowing what I must do everyday. Well here is the box it came in, and I was without a doubt ready to pay the price on the outside of the box there when I took it up to the register to pay for it but I was down to my last bit of cash for a little while and was undecided if I wanted it on my other form of credit to pay for it? When the lady who was cashing me out on my order said "It's ten dollars, sir..." I just remember standing there asking her "you mean it's not what it says on the box here..." She responded "Yes it's actually on sale do you want it, still?" I told her my luck must be changing for the better....at least of late, everything is sweet because I'm getting in a great walking stride and now this?, it's great!" So I had happen to pay for it with my other form of credit that I mentioned earlier. I then went to Sub Way to get some dinner I then came home and opened it in my bathroom

and started using it the moment I place it there on the floor.
And now that I have it I'm sure that belly I have will be gone before I know it over time of course.

History of Science Fiction

Hello to all,
Today I wanna share with you something, I can for sure say makes me know I'm a true fan of the genre known as Science Fiction. It was back when I was living with my mom Nancy Watson and my step father Chuck Watson when they lived here in the states, it was in nineteen ninety six when I came across this little treasure:

. I was at the time always buying my novels at a place called the BOOKWORM , it was just a couple of streets over from where we lived, so it was a pretty frequent hang out spot for me from as far back as when I was a little guy too, in fact back in the very early part of nineteen seventy nine I recall viewing a thirty two by thirty eight size poster that had every STAR WARS movie posters on it. So what was the coolest thing about this rare poster your asking yourself, I sure huh? Well it had several mini posters with "Revenge of the Jedi" on it, and here's another cool thing about that there was a movie that I remember seeing while living in Gathierburg Maryland called "Getting it on" it was a teen date movie from nineteen eighty that was really awful. It had a scene it it though I will never forget a teenager girl and boy were talking about going to a movie and the boy says "well how about we go see that "REVENGE OF THE JEDI" flick, huh?" I think it is the only movie you will NEVER find on DVD if you look for it. Sorry about being on a STAR WARS shtick for a moment there, I just thought it would be a cool tidbit to share here, even though this really about the book above. In this you learn some really rare and neat type of things about SF. Like What your wanting to know huh?, well it tell you the actual beginnings of Science Fiction through out the world, it separates how it is different from the genre known as Fantasy, it talks of many sub parts of the fiction itself: utopia, women, robots, and other peculiarities (that a name of one of the chapters by the way). It talks of the Mass culture effect which is basically movies, TV shows, and of course comic books, in outselling a classic novel say of H.G. Wells, all the way to magazine editor of the early parts of the depression era H.P. Lovecraft. It even tells us that shortly after a very famous radio broadcast that the date of the very first science fiction convention for the united states was in New York on July 2,1939. In fact it has been so long since I read it I may sometime soon read it just to getting back into the said genre I love most of all!

How do you see and define faith?

Believers of faith, here is a follow up from just a couple days ago when I was writing about "Something we ALL have" I posed a lot of different takes of what I was getting to which was FAITH! Now I'd like to share with you how I came about finding mine if that is OK with you and if not I will understand that reading how might strike a cord with you that is upsetting. When I was a young boy in my young mind I always thought that FAITH was defined by your own actions of doing right from wrong in how one would express their feelings toward another human being with a thing called luck of angelical know how, sure by this time I knew about the book called the Bible and the people in it's many stories and I had known a lot about GOD'S Love for us but did I truly know what FAITH was? I can say I knew the word's princpal meaning such as what it stands for in ONE ON ONE basis at least in a small way with everyone I know. Yet even though I've known of it in this way I NEVER HAD put my trust in defining FAITH between Matt and GOD, this really wasn't a problem to me for I knew GOD loves me for HE shows it to me in ways I can't imagine. Then HE gave me a wake up call in a BIG WAY in October 1993, my father's mother Nelle Byrd had gone to be with JESUS, I was so torn up inside but NOT because I hadn't exprinced someone dying before, but because Nelle Byrd and Ben Powers who was my mother's father were the MAIN TWO people I looked at as MY teachers of GOD and HIS WORD. After attending her ferunal services my mom & Chuck were off on another business trip to Russia and I had accompanied them to the Tri Cities airport after seeing them off I was waiting for the Ben Franklin Transit bus sevrice to take me to back to Richland, on that ride I met a young lady named Karen who was studying her Bible. I figured I'd strike up a conversation with her about what it was she was reading, (see at first since I didn't know her I didn't know she was reading her Bible I thought it was just some random book) when we had pulled into Knight street transit center in Richland I felt a lot more at ease with her as I had my grandparents as teachers of understanding of GOD. Karen had told me that she has a Friday night Bible study at her home and gave me a track of "WHERE DO YOU PLACE FAITH IN YOUR WALK OF LIFE?" That day was on a Wenseday I took it home and over the next two days I read it five times, I then went to her home that Friday night and was opened with open arms to a new respect for what FAITH has meaning wise when "WE Choose what choice, WE need for our peace of mind and being"

Wonder Woman stripped of her American flag look

Boy what a title for this very posting huh?, I only found this out just a couple of days ago myself and I was really trying to come up with a True Eye Popping title for talking about this very subject. And I thought about the word that would fit change for such a Iconic comic book character and the word I felt worked best is "STRIPPED" and I felt since I try to keep most things that I post about here respectable, it was better than saying Wonder Woman running around in her comics lately naked. I was wondering do most people know of her history at all? So I felt I would share with you all what you may not know of her history?, before I show you her current threads.
Wonder Woman was created by two men wwwwwaaaaayyyy bbbbaaaaacccckkkkk in the latter part of the nineteen thirties to rival these two

, already iconic comic super heroes who DID have there first appearance(s) of at the time shortly before World war II started for America, anyway. Superman officially began in May/June in the periodical put out by National Allied publication /All American publication called

and exactly a year later Batman came out in the company's new forged name

as the hero of nineteen thirty nine, by Bob Kane and the rarely known Bill Finger Batman's writer. Wonder Woman's two creators were much like Batman's & Superman's (Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster) were William Marston & Harry G. Peter who was the character's artist in fact here is his first sketch of

what was to be the amazon princess known as Wonder Woman. (In fact the character's name wasn't wonder woman at first more on that shortly), Wonder Woman's creator Marston was a very strong believer in feminist rights for all women in his lifetime. He lived a life style of a ployamorous relationship with his wife Elizabeth Holloway Marston and Olive Bryne. (Not KNOWN by me anyway, if this is a relative of the comic artist and writer John Bryne.) Will Marston had seen the success as I said of the two boys in the comic book world and wanted to throw in a female counterpart, so he molded this fictitious female character after his wife and Olive as the main template of her origin with the character being more like Superman than Batman in that she would be god like. So Marston started her roots as related to the Greek Gods in Greek/Roman histories and her world was invaded by man, the character lived on a peaceful island known as Paradise Island with her sisters. After winning a contest that her own mother forbade her entrance she becomes the representative of Paradise Island in what is known as Man's world. Her name was to be "SUPERMA", when editor Sheldon Mayer saw this he changed the character's name to "Wonder Woman", before her first story was released in dated for the year of 1941.
It was a full six months later that Wonder Woman got her own official title, Marston also had another part of a something he helped improved in the early nineteen twenties be apart of Wonder Woman by way of the character's golden lasso. What was it your asking right?, well here is the answer what is the Golden Lasso capable of doing to anyone bound by it, even wonder woman herself is powerless to this? It is that the person ensnared by it must tell the truth no matter what! Marston before creating "Superma" as he called her was a actual inventor and psychologist and he helped make the lie detector/polygraph machine more infective

,by adding a metabolism reader for blood rate and he made the detector itself easier to hook up to and individual undergoing such a test. When he was writing the comic he would indulge in having the title character Dania Prince catch someone in the lasso, now as to "IF THIS " was to fulfill his own fantasies of sexual bondage is truly unknown "OR IF" to promote the new adaptions he put in place on the already fifty three year old device. The Lie detector or such types of prototypes of it were first started in Africa in eighteen eighty five, it wasn't till about the nineteen hundred that such prototypes made there way to North America the man who modernized it before Marston was a gentleman by the name of Cesare Lombroso and that was in nineteen hundred and four. Marston wrote Wonder Woman from nineteen forty three till his shortly before his death in nineteen forty seven. Harry G Peters stayed on as her artist till a few months before his passing in nineteen fifty eight. Most comic book writers right after Marston's death didn't know which way to take the character at first, but for the general storytelling they mostly kept her in the World War era or on Paradise Island then in the latter part of the sixties they made a complete change in her character where she wasn't a super powered heroine at all but rather a flower shop girl like Janet Wood from Three's Company here is what she looked like back then
this was kept up through the mid nineteen seventies when something had happen for the character via a campy show for one of the two men she was trying to compare to in the nineteen forties & fifties. That show was BATMAN that starred Adam West & Burt Ward as the Caped crusaders. The developer of that series William Dozier was ask to make a Wonder Woman series in that same format in nineteen sixty seven but it just didn't work out. Wonder Woman's history with the small screen was truly just beginning at the time for even through she couldn't be in a live action series as of yet, she did enjoy many forms of animation at the time. Then in nineteen seventy four two years after this writer was born, a TV movie of the week was made with Cathy Lee Crosby as Wondy, and as you can rightfully see the costume just didn't sell the show neither did the actress with blond hair. Something about this gave the excessive at ABC a chance to reconsider his choice for the lead character when the production replaced Crosby with a unknown at the time Lynda Crater who embodied the comic look of the character herself. Sadly after just a season of the show (1976), the rating were very high still ABC thought that they couldn't do anymore with her story in that summer CBS brought the syndication of ABC's rights and put Wonder Woman into present time story lines with cast in toe as well! Altogether Wondy's live action series ran for two more years.
In the character's comic history writers just had a very hard time making her work in the seventies, so they decided to make the character like the TV series and had her in World War II and as a spy in present day. Till nineteen eighty five when DC comics came up with the best way to update their whole comic universe, what they did was come up with a storyline to separate the timelines. The story was known as "CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS"

(Boy what I wouldn't do to see MARVEL clean up their comic universe, especially of late), Well anyway after this Wonder Woman was now a Ambassador from "Themycia" (Paradise Island's:new name). She is more confined to here more than in "Man's World" when she is in "Man's World" her troubles still seek her out, unlike in the early seventies and early eighties where she was split like the rest of her compatriots before that said crossover in 1985. A quick note back in 1986 for four months the character had no title of her own, I guessing this was to set her apart completely for a while. This summer former AMAZING SPIDER-MAN SCRIBE (that's a fancifully wording for writer/author), Micheal J.Straczynski takes Diana in a "NO HOLDS BAR, I'M TAKING BACK" story of finding her place in her own mind & world, So here is a look at Diana's take charge look with her many other classical comic looks over her sixty nine years as a representative of Feminist right is justifiable as Masculinity is for males.Just respect women for who they are whether they are Wonderful lovers or your everyday friend is what I'm and hopefully every story of Diana Prince boils down too.

Just one more reason to be smiling

Hello all,
So what could the very title of posting mean between all if not one of these three people having slight um grins, (yeah like those are just wide eyed grins of my nephew Cannon his sister Heidi, my niece and of course myself, you'd think we are having a party of some sort) well we were in a way but more that some other time. Yet the reason I'm smiling today and while I chose this picture to represent it was I felt this is my biggest smiling point so far this who year where it shows great excitement is yet on the horizon. Today, I took to heart what my new doctor Ibrahim Abdulrahman had ask me just yesterday in doing a lot more to help balance out my lower sodium infused eating habits. I went and after work today went and started walking for it is never to late to take mind of what your physician says to help motivate the one's inner soul in wellness. I walked a path that I never had done expect maybe once or twice before my most current grand maul seizure, which was earlier this last month of June shortly before the local summer car event known as "Cool Desert Nights", I feel so darn free with doing this I may even start doing it every chance I can just to see if I feel better every day, who knows? I may even get more involved with this than I even know.....but as I said who knows......

Just being yourself is fine

We all have to realize at some point in these things we call journeys of life that we all have a said problem. Now before I or you all go and say "Nah your wronger than ever with that line of thought relating to me...." but let me ask you something when was the last time you took a inner look into who you are?, I don't just mean how you relate to the everyday things you do, but how you may without even knowing it may form more hurt towards those we love when trying to share something important about our defining moments called histories of ourselves... Sure like I said we can hurt with actions or words more than one can ever wish to know, yet how can we repair that one truth that no person weather you are a child, a adult, a man, or a woman, we all have parts of our lives that we never want to disgust even if it will bring us joy to share with those we come to know as our friends. We all have a secret that has been our driving force to both our greatest joy and one that is our deepest darkest fear to ever tell, but what it all boils down to is everything in our lives helps to let us know who each and every person we come to know is from time to time. Whether a person is always a lair or as honest as a family member you may know or have always known , we can most assuredly agree on one very important thing being human is a hard thing to do. Although trying to better one's self never ever hurts your moral center it is one of the many ways we grow which helps defining who we have become in our everyday life that makes us understand that like different fruits we are all ripe for picking or easily tossed away it up to how you make choices that make you and I who we are that matters most in this journey known as life.....which is fine.

Hopefully I can stick with my new daily routine

Well I most certainly won't be like Mr. Parker here, watching news over the summer and of course I'm no super hero by any more than Peter is or am I for see like him stopping super villains I have to maintain a better diet for myself. From back in June shortly after having a rare or at least I want to call it that a gran-maul seizure for as I have told you when wrote about it originally I can't recall when my last one before that date was for sure anyway? So with my mom's friend Glenda Gibbs I was able to find a doctor for I hadn't one of my own thank you for that bit of help Glenda I'm really thankful for all you have done to help me. Although when my Doctor said I needed more excise as well as eating better, I started that evening which was the sixteenth of June I went up a walking path I did ever once in a while for the last couple of years. Now today I happen to have a liver enzyme test and what I had to do to prepare for it was not eat anything of solid foods for twelve hours. I was able to drink water through the night so I wasn't completely with out any source of nourishment, this morning Glenda came to pick me up I was grumpy from just having only one cup of water throughout the whole night, but I was still just wanting to get it over with so we headed over to the 945 building in north Richland where the test was to take place. I had brought my Star Trek DSN collected stories entitled "Twist of Fate" (which can be found in this past May's reading list). So after test which showed as well me feeling empty could be heard on the sonogram monitor after this Glenda to me to Mc Donlands to get something to eat I decided on a large Orange juice and a egg Mc Muffin. When we got back to my place I felt like I was under the third degree watch of someone trying to meddle in my life from a close still very unknown friend to me of my mother's. Glenda had ask me was I doing what my doctor wanted of me walking at all more than just at work, I told her the very truth which was "No but I'm still trying to a small bit". Yet then because I had brought a refrigerated Lipton Ice tea she thought it was okay to ask about my candy eating and soda pop drinking which I was honest with her about that as well, which was I hadn't had either since seeing Dr. Abdulrahman my primary physician I think later tonight I will at least try walking at least somewhere after work today but oh where, oh where will I chose?

Something everyone has....

Bet you can't ever guess what I'm going to bring up today?, so what is this very something everyone or anyone for that matter have that is hard to respect of that one's own life?, Everyone or anyone has their own way with finding this within themselves for it is part of us all. Even if we don't want to believe in the power of the thing it help represents? Boy the way I'm talking you'd think that this is some kind of huge secret puzzle or some kind of brain teaser on that game show known as "JEOPARDY!" in a unknown fashion to human everyday type of thinking. Here is one way to answer this very question a lot of people use the being called GOD or his earth form Jesus to come to seek this. Others may find this from deep within a search of their inner being/soul, and the wild and crazy thing of it is this once you have this it almost never broken from you. Oh sure it can be shaken from time to time but like everything in life you never have it completely vanish or disappear once you have it, unless you choose for yourself it is meaningless. What is it this thing it is simply called FAITH!

What type of ways did you entertain yoursevles as kids...

Yo Ho to the ever so many who read this,
Now I know that the very title this posting may give many of those who read it a moment to pause and think of their very childhood or at least I'm hoping so?, lately I have been thinking back on my type of ways I did entertain myself besides the getting into trouble all the time parts. I remembering when we had a babysitter before my stepsister and her friends in the spring and summer time of nineteen eighty four with our neighbor Sheri Smith we would play zoo by putting the chairs in a square formation and putting a sheet over the four of them in our front room across from the kitchen. One person would be the ringmaster while everyone else was a animal of the wild of their choosing. Yet this isn't about how I played as a kid I just realized that I am asking you instead...So let me ask did many of you ever sit in front of the radio and as you were listening to what your hearing put yourself in that story called a radio drama?, or did you like most kids even today read comics and not just superhero ones?, Did you go horseback ridding or brand a bull?, Maybe you went to the movies for a dime (boy those day are long gone aren't they though....) Please if none of these are how you found entertainment when you were a kid won't you leave a note of how YOU DID if you wish?, Thank you all who read this it makes know what I write is never wasted to you and that is what makes me have a smile everyday.

what's little and my favorite color?

Today for some weird reason I was thinking about images of the Smurfs, or at least of Papa Smurf anyway while at my Men's Breakfast at the Cathedral of Joy. I remember watching these guys in the early eighties along with all of the other cartoons I watched back then. Like all cartoon properties of the time they had their own movie.

Did you know that they are fifty two years of age, shouldn't Papa be gone by now and Brainy have his spot as leader of all of them by now? The Smurfs were created by a French man named Pierre Culliford who went by the pen name of "Peyo" because a family member could never recall his whole name. In "Peyo" storytelling he thought of these little people as Trolls of Nordic Fairy Tales, he introduced them Brussels type of comic magazine known as "Le Journal de spirou dated October 23,1958 the story that they were a part of was titled "Johan & Peewitt" and they were not known as Smurfs then they were named Schtroumpfs. He was adding them into the stories so much that they started having spin offs into their own separate tales, much like how Disney started with just a popular mouse named "Mickey". Then came along a duck and so on, or like in our own comics here in the states happens, I'd just be guessing but that is how everything in it own way becomes a trend. Pierre Culliford was born in 1928 on June 5th, Surprisingly that was the same year Walt Disney made "Steamboat Willie" which first featured "Mickey Mouse". Peyo passed away in December of 1992 on Christmas eve he was sixty four years old.
How was it he came up with their skin color being Blue you're wanting to know right?, well Peyo decided by what colors do most children like of Red, he thought reminds him of Violence so that as these Schtroumpfs as he was calling them so that was out of the question. And the color Yellow reminded him of Illness so that to was out the equation. So he let it be Blue because it was a set color that children of all ages like most. In nineteen sixty five, the Schtroumpfs were all about marketing and one the things Peyo did was he had them made into very small little figurines,
among other forms of merchandising. Peyo may have had a cartoon series of the Schtroumpfs in his homeland of Brussels Belgium or at least through his own studio he had been running since nineteen fifty nine, I'm saying this because marketing them through comic books would have led to animation at some point. Wouldn't you think so as well. Those little figures of the Schtroumpfs made a big start around the whole world in nineteen sixty six, they even made it here to the states for a bit of time. Yes the Schtroumpfs did have a enemy of which they feared, I just went looking to see if Gargamel who is with his cat Azrael in the above image was spelled differently in the Belgium comic strips on the internet only to find out they only referred to him as the wizard or sorcerer in the Schtroumpfs stories from long ago. In nineteen seventy six when an American visitor to Belgium by the name of Stuart R. Ross who was an entertainment scouting entrepreneur entered an agreement with Dupuis who was the publishing company of the Belgium comics and Peyo to acquiring full North American lending rights of the Schtroumpfs. So now for sure someone had the rights here in North America to do things marketing wise with these little blue troll type of characters just in case back in nineteen sixty five was a fluke for them truly being worldwide, now these Smurfs WILL really make an impression in the world. When Ross got back home to the United States he contacted the Wallance and Berrie and company to make toys like these
or even stuff Smurf dolls like these. NBC's then president Fred Silverman little daughter Melissa had a Smurf doll probably similar to those shown above. That he had gotten her on a trip to Bolder Colorado, and thought these little blue Smurfs as they were called would be great as a Saturday morning cartoon series on his network for children, so I'm guessing it was he who contacted the heads in charge of the animation division Warner Brothers entertainment which hooked him up with the Hanna-Barbera
the company that has done cartoon Icons such as Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear and the Flintstones just to name a few to submit his "Smurf idea". On September twelfth, nineteen eighty one the Smurfs appeared on the peacock network, here is what a ad for Saturday mornings looked like in comic books of that said time of when the Smurfs first appeared and you can also see a couple of famous Marvel comics that were animated around the same time that I loved and still do in a way. I'm also writing this for just the other day in a copy of the USA TODAY newspaper I saw a snip it on the hopes of an all new live action movie being made for the summer time of two thousand and eleven with this image. Pretty please tell me that there is something wrong here for are not the Smurfs or Schtroumpfs or whatever they are know as suppose to be able to fit in your hand and NOT BIG ENOUGH to crush the streets of New York city?

The 2 closetest comic book heroes that show Amreican Spirit on the 4th of July

Hi there everyone,
So as you can see I'm try
ing to be pretty Patriotically decisive with my color choices with this being the month we celebrate the two hundredth and seventh birth of our homeland known as America. Yet I'm not wanting to talk about the 4th, just now as you all know I am one of the BIGGEST comic book nuts around especially with that red and blue long john colored spandex character that is walking through the airport with that red head known as Mary Jane Watson Parker. Today though I want to talk about the two comic book characters who wear the stars and stripes of our symbolism that we fly high everyday, whether it be on such days as Veteran's day, Memorial day, or even on 9/11. I'm sure some people still do that one, no matter if they lost somebody they knew on that sad day or not, they do it not to show pride, well some might but most show these to show how they still feel about the twin towers coming down. What I talking about is our country's (the thing beyond the American Eagle) our flag. Do you know which two characters of both Detective Comics and Marvel comics that are always timeless in this respect of showing our modern fables of Duty and Honor on the printed page, well if not here
they both are rendered by comic artist Greg Land
CAPTAIN AMERICA & WONDER WOMAN.
