The Importance of Reading

I was thinking of what to call this posting title this morning?, when I was getting ready to going to church today and thing that stuck out the most was books in someway?, then it hit me like a sledge hammer. What makes the importance of understanding a book so needful? the answer is that someone who wants to understand any kind of form of literature must be able to read. So where do we as as society get the main tools to understanding of letters of the alphabet even before going to school?, we as children very young want to usually do something to occupy our brains with any or every thing considered fun. Like playing board games, or pretending to be a animal of the zoo (this was one of the many things I remember well from when I was a kid, when our next door neighbor was the baby sitter), Or most likely for children today it's either entertain yourself with the boob tube or the computer which I myself have to say is okay I guess but how do children use the thinking part of the brain called the imagination.

Most children who are very young may see mama or dada with a newspaper during the week and want to say at breakfast that they want it instead of their baby food and more parents just assume that they may just scribble on it with a crayon or a pen, so they give the kid a piece play duo of which will hopefully calm them down so that the parent can have a moments peace. Or perhaps a chew toy or their night time friend....still how are we to know what child wants when they cannot speak yet. So maybe the child finds a book one night before bed and wants us the parent to read it to them. Really and truly we do learn a lot as we grow into little people as we continue to grow we want to learn more about our history about our world and about ourselves as well, the best way for the latter is ask your parents to share with you something that they remember from when they were your age. As for the first part to learn about history we must know how letters make words and say them many times over till we understand there meanings, and that is the best way that I know how best to describe the importance of reading......
