So Just how much do I the comic GEEKAZOID know of.......?

To be honest I'm only sharing a wee bit of what I know of
the man in the American Flag suit seen here tossing a shield your way, so hang on the best is yet to come........

Hello All,

I just  BET Nobody saw this one coming?, Today I want to talk about one of My many hard finds of finding a connection to hyping up the movie squeal to one of many of the Marvels Movies set to bring BIG BUCKS of their many movies set for this year alone. Yesterday on my birthday, I had told you the name of that said first movie of theirs and one of my MAIN things I was going do to prepare myself for it by a certain set of trades to know the main chacater in the film, here happens to be a image of all of Marvel heroes by comic artist Micheal Golden

, it's called MMS (which stands for Marvel's Marching Society) which was the many names thrown around the company back in the sixties to get fans involved with a project where all of the creators made a nifty little recording for them on a record you could play at home on the ol turntable. Can you find his partner in there with a white star on his chest? for if you do you know this one's all about Cap. Okay so what do I know of  Captain America really?, I do know on this very blog I have an entry about his creator's passing or at least one them since he had two. His illustrative papa was a gentleman by the name of Jack Kirby

who passed away in 1992. I remember all comic artists who loved his work went and dedicated something to him in a special way. Then Cap's first writer died just a couple years ago. You can find his passing page dated December 15th 2012 here on this very blog.
His name was Joe Simon, these two young men back in their prime had created not only a comic character back in the early days of Marvel (then known as Timely Comics) to help fight during war time, but also had their creation in part encourage young men and boys of future generations to be "SUPER STRONG in fighting for what is right and Just" and I do hope good ol Steve Rogers, Cap's civilian name, continues to do that more than any other comic book hero even today! I know that according to his comic origin that what made him have super powers was a secret formula called "The Super Solider Formula", which helped Steve take down real bad men like Hitler with his partner Bucky Barns who helped him through out the course of WWII. When the War was over Timely Comics, had Barns Killed and  Cap wasn't able to stop it at all for he was busy fighting the Red Skull who was Hitler's greatest protector. That story took place sometime around August ,1945. The company went through a wide and varied set of story ideas for the next seventeen years till Martin Goodman was having a golf game that changed with (National Comics) now Detective Comic or D.C. if you prefer main owner at the time and they were talking of course about the comic business. After that game like I said everything changed for Timely when Goodman asked his editor in chief a young man who was burned out on comics for the last ten years or more (yes if you must know it was Stan Lee who was that man, who way back when Cap was just barely getting off the ground floor in nineteen forty had this be

his first ever comic writing he was seventeen at the time), to make a super hero group to rival  the competition's "Justice League" title Lee came up with these guys

known as the Fantastic Four in the company's now known as Marvel Comics' superheroes. After the first two years from 1962-1964 Marvel created so many characters and one other team group at this point called "THE AVENGERS". The Avengers it turned out had what is as I call it "The everyone roster of a cast" for even villains could come to be spotlighted for a brief amount of time like in mid nineteen nineties with the inclusion of the Sandman character also called Flint Marko who made his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man volume one in issue number four. Still the one greatest moment in The Avengers earliest history of great first was it's own volume one number four

here is that very cover. In the course of the story after finding a block of ice with a person inside it, the group decides once they all realize  it is the hero from world war II
known as Captain Americ     they bring him out of his deep freeze sleep. Steve Rogers after being brought back is commonly referred to as Cap and besides being part of the Avengers he had?has own comic history outside of his World War II adventures.... In one his books in late seventies I'm thinking or it was very early in the nineteen eighties he was given the chance to be the President of the greatest nation in the free world, but knowing he would do much better good as a common citizen he chose to stay a solider and fight crime on all levels of life when he was just a boy trying to get into the united states army. In another huge story of Marvel's called "Secret Wars", he fought along side his fellow Avengers in a battle of a universal portions to decide the fate  justice on a cosmic scale....for a time in the mid eightieths he like the rest of the main Marvel universe donned a new set of threads

but this guy who donned that color scheme wasn't Steve Rogers or whoever the Winter Solider is? at this time which was from nineteen eighty six to eighty nine at least from what I remember? The Man in BLACK was known as John Walker. Cap came to be America's most grounded hero in deciding what we would do as a result after the Terrorists attacks on the world trade center

on the date known forever as 9/11. Then Marvel went and in two thousand and six started a big game changing event that would forever change the whole of the Marvel universe for years to come..... I keep saying that "CIVIL WAR"was a big thing in two thousand and seven when it turns out that in that year besides the breaking point of Peter Parker's life known as this

"ONE MORE DAY" that year also brought to light a world without it's greatest morale booster for any ARMED FORCES at least in comics it did!

Tomorrow:  The Death of Captain America is just beginning and I know nothing of where it
leads to.....at all?

   To Be Continued.............
