Hey there,
 Now I really know that the title to this very post maybe silly or lame or plain whatever you want strange...... but to me I really think and know that the last day of last month is for mainly children to really get a chance to truly visit the dentist one last time before the whole year is up, at least some may see it that way. Earlier today I had gotten a chance to see these two fairly new 

DvD releases. Like everyone else out there I have my particularity of which ones I enjoy to the max and also those that rarely if ever peek my taste of concern of  interest in, and if your a regular reader of this blog you know what I LOVE without me Matt having to be a giver of the very answer. I know that the DvD on left should and  would be super easy to see why I wanted to view it anyway, I mean after reading the book seen 

here. Now let me tell you something before we get any further along here there are three things about those two movies that are super cool without a doubt, but before sharing any of that I want you to know I very immensely so enjoyed both of these because of how each stood on it's own bloody core if you will? The oblivious things of three in the films would without a clue is they both have bloodsucking fictional creatures known as Vampires, okay that is three of three now as to the other two answers of how the films are connected is from a production standpoint. Number two of three is that the man who started creeping us out with silly films such as "The  Nightmare before Christmas" to" BATMAN" or perhaps "Beetle Juice" his first movie is more fitting than ol "BATS" of course I'm talking about film director/producer Tim Burton being part of these two well done films, but alas that still doesn't give you the question to my answer of how are these films related? right so here is the answer while watching "DARK SHADOWS" I took a brief second to see that the writer of "ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER" the book also wrote both films screenplays his name is Seth Grahme Smith. If you never see either these two movies wouldn't you say that's kinda Creepy none the less......

Hello to the readers of the world, 
Well yesterday if you will recall I had said I had got something at Hastings besides  that James Bond book from TIME publication that I couldn't wait to get into. Still I can't get into what it is just yet even if I want to because I have always been a one novel or book reading type of person and here is what I'm still stuck with for my reading warts and all  I won't say it's the worst book I have ever read. It has taken myself two whole tires of getting through this Monster
 called IN CONQUEST BORN . But here is why I won't just give up with it as well, I Matt am NEVER A QUITTER when it comes to reading about conflict in any form of fiction and why is that your asking huh? Well through any written form of words any one who is a writer can express his or her outlook on subject matter that world says "NO YOU CAN'T HAVE A SAY IN THIS MATTER!" I do believe why so many people can't be understood isn't because they don't have a voice but for the very reason they let others who say they are you friends overpower your way of thinking  by how they say what they want and you just stand there and take it because you have been overpowered to many times or way by that person or set of people you feel you don't matter to them as a true person let alone as a person whose a friend! Sorry I didn't mean to spill my personal soap box on everyone I just know I need to get it out sometimes.....Still the one other book I wanna to talk about is got a movie adaptation of itself coming out in a few days from now and it's this 

that I hope to be reading very soon. For I have not ever read any real fantasy even trough I guess you could say ever letter I write down on this very blog is a fantasy driven in some way or other with a few exceptions from time to time........ I have never read any of Tolkien's  works even through I have seen every one of the three films that processed the film known as THE HOBBIT.

Hello everyone,
Today I would like to talk about my very generous friend Kendall Kaiser whom I had happen to get a picture with earlier 

this morning before he begins to take on new heights of adventure in a new job in the state of Montana. Kendall has been my church named Cathedral of Joy's engineer tech for at least as long as I've known him, and let's see that's been since the spring of '07'. Kendall has been also attending the church's men breakfast for that amount of time as well, back when my father passed away on November 4th two years ago he was able to be my  anchor to filling my heart with understanding of knowing dad was not in pain anymore from his Parkinson disease. He has lead some very neat topics in the morning breakfast ( my favorite was "Heroes of the Bible" which I had helped with in a slight way of relating it to comic book superheroes in part), he was the one who gave me a ticket to see "Courageous" back during the early part of last October. He has written a few of the church's seasonal plays most notable was for two years he wrote "THE LIVING NATIVITY"  Christmas    play that the COJ puts on for a couple of weeks right before Christmas. There was one time when we shared a early breakfast over at Shari's restaurant while their was a big camp get away for the guys but I couldn't go because I was working when it was planned to be happening that was back in August or late July of last year. The most important thing to know about Kendall is that he has strong faith in knowing the lord and always can be a great listener if you need help in understanding life from a biblical approach Lastly the big thing that we did together that I know is still taking place in me is we attended a  four part class on Sundays a few weeks ago known as "Relationship Remodel" which was put on at the church by Jack and Jenn Dean-Hill. All I know that I can express by feelings with these words I'm writing are God will keep your heart open to every member of the church body that you Kendall and your family have touched no matter the distance is in steps or feet You will always be a open vessel to sharing your leanings of the word where it may always be needed....... God bless you Kendall and from one brother in Christ to another I love you as well!                   

More treats to be Thankful for on the 1st

Hello out there,
  Well have I left you all in a puzzle box if you will with the end of my late night post from my Halloween evening with saying that I had even a greater surprise in store for me and it was well wroth the wait to hear this part of the end of happenings from last night. Well after my brother Micheal had brought me home I knew I was hungry since at his place I only had a few pieces of candy. I'm just so psyched I can't believe I had to say I must be really great with my makeup for my face because I had just gone to Subway to grab something to chow down on when I was in the corner of the gas station parking lot when I had heard a female voice yell out "HEY BUZZ?" I swear I didn't know the voice at all and I continued on to the corner to the crosswalk or I thought I was gonna be?, anyway they or maybe both did at once it happen so fast I just can't seem to stop talking in rewind mode can I? The two young ladies said that they were on a scavenger hunt and that they "wanted my mask" if they could have it I said "Woo?" I'm  super sorry but you can't have it..." they asked me "Why ?"  I told them it's my face, and I'm can't help you with your quest  which was to find someone dress as a superhero and get their mask. I had offered to at least help them out if a picture would be a saving grace they said "That would be cool, but we don't have a camera..." I told them well I do so we're in luck" as I pulled it out. One of these two lasses was dressed 
 







                                                                        like Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El better known as Super Girl. You know this really and I mean really got me to thinking maybe I'm not such lonely fellow after all I stand out more than I know at least when I looking back at the shots in my camera.....so who know maybe one day......With it being the start of the month and the one where you should be giving THANKS on a certain  Thursday of the thirty days that make up this month I'm grateful my sister Kylie posted some old pictures of our dad on Face Book. Now on to the changing of the plates known as surprises as well. I had this 
 



background plate in my picture folders till early February of this year when I accidentally erased them but my friend Jeff that I talk about from to time here had a backup copy for me and I'm really glad I got them before his computer went and bellied up on him altogether. I happen to named  this   "Those BOYS of Hell on cycles at WAR, yet again"     As to what I had as a  Desktop image I have to go into even greater detail because as you all know I love one superhero no matter what and even though he's not being presented as I and many other fans of the character know he should be He's still my all time favorite. I'm sure you that have been reading this also can tell I love other forms of the arts medium and that as I have shown from time time when I'm not reading or doing the gaming thing PS2 for those wondering, which I like? Back in the latter part of September while looking for new comic book J Pegs I had happen to come across a cross reference of a Norman Rockwell classic

The best part of this to me and me alone I guess I love that he seems to be asking his   little kid and yes I know many fans of the character DO NOT think that he should have a kid of his own but that is a debate for a whole other time, as I was saying though it seems as the piece has him asking the kid in the Green Goblin costume git up"IF"  his arch nemesis the Green   Goblin  is as a kid ?" The kid responds "Now Parker I'm NOT at liberality to give away my trade secrets  before either of us is created by those guys name Lee or Ditko are you still here waiting for them as much as I am?" 
or even better still he is telling him "Hey kid, can I have some of your candy in the bag there for maybe my web shooter or something?" and the kid is looking at him as "Get your own treats tonight you red and blue trickster"      
Still I do hope everyone did have a grand night of getting some treats because I know I sure did!

Now where should I begin with this one for a starting point I will say that all day today I had a smashing day in many, many, many ways.. I gotta remember something to right "Buzz?" to share with all the people around this world who chime in here for a daily dose of fun riddles, Right you are Mister Matt!" answers BUZZ whoever that is? I do recall giving you something of a tease that a riddle in the form of an acronym would be revealed didn't I? , but of course it was when I throwing out a possible clue about my Halloween get up for this year say some ten days ago. A couple of days ago on Monday my friend June Bullert who is seen here standing 

by me here in my take on "BUZZ LIGHTYEAR   from the TOY STORIES  movies knew what I had high hopes for?, What pray tell is that your asking huh?  Well it all goes back to the near beginning of last month when I had chosen  to actually do something that would best represent me if I were to dress up like being myself a sci-fi nerd if you will?  on September twelfth after a lot of for e thought I had it in my head as to what I wanted to be this year, the main thing it would require is that for what I wanted to do I couldn't shave till real close to that spooky day known as "ALL HALLOWS EVE" better known as good ol Halloween.What my idea was, was to let my facial hair be long and thick enough to have definition  much like 
 


this. I was then going to try and see if I could find a actual astronaut suit as a Halloween costume I was want to have a solar system look in my beard. So I grew it out and everyone who was wanting to know if I was growing my face covering for Winter I simply replied "NO!, IT'S FOR IT TO BE PART OF MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME." They would walk away shaking their heads only slightly till the next time they saw me and saw I hadn't removed it yet.June had asked me well is their a way I could relate my idea to being representing of including GOD somehow in the way of showing and telling of helping out. So that's when I came up with the riddle acronym  U.K.O.L.L.R.S. Which I will get to it reveal after I finish what I had to do to prepare for today. This past weekend I went to the store called RITE AID after doing some banking and got two Halloween make up kits and tried finding about getting my beard trimmed the way I wanted just across the street from my work on Sunday. They gave me a number of another barber shop and I found out that their hours just wouldn't work for me. So Monday morning June and I went looking for the BUZZ LIGHTYEAR suit seen here 
 









 
with the aforementioned makeup.June and I had found the costume to buy on our second try at a place behind the other Albertson's in Kennewick call "LET'S PARTY" We then went and made a appointment at the MEN ZONE barber shop for yesterday.( I have only one small regret about it, I will get to that in a sec.) I drew a quick pen drawing when making the appointment on a sticky note to tell them what I wanted. Yesterday I brought this set of drawings with me                      
 









 and here is what the hair dresser came up with from what she got from the illustrations. I had wanted a star on one cheek 









  
 
and a planet on the other one                   








 What it was that I had waited to do was have my beard trim especially this one to be recorded. So I could show how a idea of beard designing could hopefully have a new trend going on and be the next "BIG CRAZE" on the net. One last thing she did as you can see is she gave me an extra 












 swirl to make it more out there kinda spacy to go with my overall theme. Even though that I didn't get to do the recording part I had let her take similar pics with her phone and she let me get a shot with the artist herself  
 










,if she could also have one for her mobile device, I also will say besides my loving it I do believe she loved her handy work at a very far out there design. I think she was also impressed that I was already thinking of ideas for next year.     
       
       
    Come to today, ,I went and knew what I wanted with  how I was going to apply the makeup as a whole because I had that in my head from the get go of the costume to begin with, as I said before. There was only one very last minute thing and I will get that in a moment. I took the white paint and put it in all corners of the beard expect for where the tiny planet was the next color I used was the blue on the top part of my head, I then squeezed out more white and with a tiny brush made it look like in all the sky blue that there was a cloud in my right corner of my head I had brought the sky to the center of my nose bridge and just stopped with that color. I then took the black color and did my cheeks and neck it was then that I realized I had two small problems one was I had lost the planet on my cheek so I opened up my yellow color and knowing where the planet was added color to it. I then had to make the planet that was on the center of my goatee  stand out if I could so I took some red paint and dabbed it in there. I then felt I was finished, but a last minute idea came to me and I got the glittering gel and just put it in certain places on my face to look like stars.  
    When I got to work with my whole outfit on everyone was impress quite literary with how it had came out. Here are just a few costumers from the very young of regulars that I see

 

  every day. I had even offered to my fellow coworkers if they wanted a pic opportunity to have a photo op with "BUZZ" and sadly only one accepted it. Was dairy stocker  Britt Nowlin who was really ready to transport us to a whole another day with that transporter he has in his hand there.

  (just tricking ya,right day for it huh?) Yet before my whole spooky day of fun was over with at work I kid you not I had two groups of people who wanted a pic with me as Buzz Lightyear. The cool thing was I didn't know either group at all.

and maybe just maybe it was because I did so well with my face painting? I don't know but whatever works to please I guess huh? After work my brother who to me looked the part of a grunge rocker from the eighties (sorry not a pic of this although I wish I had a clear one  to add here) pick me up we went to his house to hand out candy to kids in his neighborhood and he had this cool disco lighted Pumpkin 

near where he was sitting handing out the treats.  We had happen to get spooked by one of his friends when she startled Micheal with her scary alien mask for he was holding a flashing under his chin and 

she said "BOO, do you know who this is?"   Here also is what Heidi his daughter looked like for tonight what a great pirate? 

and her brother Cannon was a very famous Star Wars bad guy as if his suit doesn't give him 

away at all?  Now before I forget and share with you that cool acronym that I came up with ten day ago I have to tell you last year we started a Halloween tradition of having Cannon and Heidi pose with their suited up uncle and here's that pic 

, now as to what does U.K.O.L.L.R.S. stand for you've been reading this for how long with two oh he'll come to it eventually huh? well it goes with Buzz's slogan fromthe TOY STORIES films which is what? Isn't it "TO OUTER SPACE AND BEYOND or something close to it well my acronym is this "Understanding Knowledge Of Life is Limitless as Reaching for Space. The night had it's Greatest surprise for me later on.......
