The 2 closetest comic book heroes that show Amreican Spirit on the 4th of July

Hi there everyone,
So as you can see I'm try
ing to be pretty Patriotically decisive with my color choices with this being the month we celebrate the two hundredth and seventh birth of our homeland known as America. Yet I'm not wanting to talk about the 4th, just now as you all know I am one of the BIGGEST comic book nuts around especially with that red and blue long john colored spandex character that is walking through the airport with that red head known as Mary Jane Watson Parker. Today though I want to talk about the two comic book characters who wear the stars and stripes of our symbolism that we fly high everyday, whether it be on such days as Veteran's day, Memorial day, or even on 9/11. I'm sure some people still do that one, no matter if they lost somebody they knew on that sad day or not, they do it not to show pride, well some might but most show these to show how they still feel about the twin towers coming down. What I talking about is our country's (the thing beyond the American Eagle) our flag. Do you know which two characters of both Detective Comics and Marvel comics that are always timeless in this respect of showing our modern fables of Duty and Honor on the printed page, well if not here
they both are rendered by comic artist Greg Land
CAPTAIN AMERICA & WONDER WOMAN.
