A cool Blue Halloween for sure

So with it being the night that all people or at least most that will always profess to having a heart of a child are most likely going be something other than their everyday self and heck why not? This year  I had plans to being something really neat, but because of my step brother Lyle's passing last month I felt that this year I owed him a very nice tribute. Hence the title of this very entry gives away a small clue in a way.........
Hello from the night of scares and frights,
I truly have to say for the longest time leading up to today or rather tonight I guess, you could say without a doubt the the character I was dead set on being this year is celebrating a pretty ginormous year this very year. And I bet without even a image of what I looked like last year need not be a mystery as to who I wanted to be either.......

but still last year I was one of many foes of the guy I was going be this year. Which is represented by the blonde haired baby boy that is right everyone I wanted to be Batman, but with so many looks for the caped crusader as one his many moniker I wouldn't know which to really go with?, why the question mark huh, well as you all know I love to make up something rather uniquely special neat with my face. This year I had one great drawback I didn't grow out my beard, but that was mainly because I had no ideas floating around in my noggin...... as in years past. I think the suit of Batman I would have went with would have been the Adam West one from the campy nineteen sixties series. Something really kept knocking in the back of my head that this year had to be without a doubt a tribute to someone very dear to my heart that I had recently lost, which yes would be my step brother Lyle Watson of course. So a couple of weeks ago I went to go see if the store where I got that Riddler costume, had any at all Blue M &;M  suits and found out they did but I had to order it online, I had one small problem with ordering it which I have to thank my brother Michael for helping with placing it because the dang phone number contact was making me almost cry, with Micheal's help it was very successfully on it's way.
Lyle was a very interesting person in his time here on earth (4/5/66-9/3/14) he was only forty eight when he passed away. More about this fine young man, can be found throughout this very blog in the whole month of September of this year, with more still to be coming. One for sure thing you the viewer of this very blog will notice is that today's text is in Lyle's and my of course as well color of BLUE!
Lyle's  favorite candies were these milk chocolate covered colored shells of Red, Orange,Yellow,Brown,Green, and of course Blue shells with a White "M" on the center of each one, so here is the costume

hanging on the corner of my bedroom door at seven am, and after getting my shower at six thirty I was ready to well as a super hero would say "SUIT UP, FOR THE DAY". After putting on the Blue threads I went to work doing my second best part of this day every year since two thousand and ten when I looked like this a
all out Dracula......and has it ever gotten better yet indeed with each passing year....you decide.....I went and applied myself with blue makeup and some white for two BIG "M"s on my checks. I had also went in search of some padding to make myself look round on the sides, for this I used some Excelsior packing or as it is better known as bubble wrap.  Of course this day is like it usually is for this time of year with the exception of last year on this very day it was most spring like weather, but as I was just saying a moment ago it was on again off again rain spots and I almost decided not to do my face makeup this year. Yet in the end I braved it all and everything worked like charm.
Here are some pics I took with my fellow Ablertsons coworkers

the two Blue dudes of sorts in the dairy cooler,

the front end manger of the store and her over the top Blue courtesy helper clerk,
there were a few besides yours truly that decked themselves out for the day of not being yourself. I'm with one of the store's non food ordering personal giving my all of some peace for the coming rain. Here is yet another grocery manger that is
that is certainly no where or way as Blue as I am for sure but still smiles non the less. And finally just to throw things off a bit here is one of the service deli's kiddos just out of being on

her day off but still wanted to see what I the one promising store employee was being for the day known as "Give me, Candy day for the young little kids." Now I must say that the fun was only just starting with my fellow workers, because little unbeknownst to me I was for sure in for something of a surprise of my own on this very day of scary frightful fun. In what way your asking well I for sure will get to that?, Yet I still must throw out as well all of the costumers who had a big helping hand in letting me stand out with them as "freaky cute as I Matt, was.....I was hoping to really get a lot more than I did of these but I guess you only can get what you dare get? Here was my first pal whom he and his two older brothers were "those crazy turtles in a half shell" as the toy line lyric says......and he and his mother came by yesterday to show me which "NINJA Turtle" he was. Today he was decked out in his  Seattle Seahawks Tee shirt and some green shoes

, and I'm sure that they all will have fun gathering up their sweet loot. Then came the every year favs or so I like to think so...... here I am with my friend June who as I said every year sine I did this costume of
of Disney sidekick to "Mister Woody" of "TOY STORY fame known as Buzz Lightyear and as you can see I put my own spin on the character, without a doubt that turned out rather cool to most people. Including my friend seen here
known as Jeremy who has been mentioned quite a lot of late here on the blog as my comic book going buddy. He just knew he had to come liven up his soul since our friend Pastor Dick's passing in Hawaii while on vacation there, and to say seeing me all "Blued up" or is it "M"'D up helped us both

as if you can't tell?   So as I was saying besides Jeremy there was June and I saw both of them just as I got back from a little thing known as lunch in which I had a couple of Lyle's favorite's of a small Coke Cola and some M& M yogurt as part of my meal, that was when I saw June checking out and asked "Are you ready for our yearly photo?"

,and of course she was ready in just seconds..... Earlier in this very post I had said I got to see a frightening scary surprise remember? well what it was is my friend Dawn had told me two years ago when she saw me
like this as Buzz. That she had this scary witch costume and for reasons unknown she never saw as the Riddler the prince of puzzles of Batman fame. Still in the slew of June and Jeremy though she truly caught me off guard by posing with me looking

like this! Then after my day of working around the intermittent showers of rain I went with my brother Micheal over to his neck of the woods to do the Byrd family tradition of spending Halloween night together. His kids were really surprised by their Blue candy looking uncle and my sister in law Kathie says of all of my past "Halloween costumes" she loves this one the best..... who am I to argue the point when each year they always get a lot better. Before the kids did their last run of candy hopping around their neighborhood we ended up getting our Halloween pics of the year and here there are
in both a nice pose and then our all action one. Cannon even though he is Doctor Who of the tenth doctor I think? his pose is more in keeping with Han Solo from the original Star Wars films....and Heidi sure seem to like Steve Rogers of Captain America fame by being a cheerleader for his football team if he had one. We then watch the movie that put marvel movies on in a flood wave X-MEN from the year Heidi was born which is 2,000. Does it seem that I am yet again forgetting something related to Halloween ah yes it's been known that for the past two years I had my chance encounter with Superman's cousin

Kara known better as Super Girl. Well I can say that I still haven't broken that part of finding cool girls dress as her and here's the one for
this year. An One last thing I do feel I need to say is this everyone who doesn't think Halloween is a time for everyone, we all have a rather short span of time on planet earth and we all need to remember no matter how old or young we are in life, Halloween rather you believe it to be a night towards the devil it's really about letting your inner kid back into your life if only for one whole day.

I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!!!!????!!!!!???
