Shat's day

Hello to all true Trekker fans,
Look I know that a lot of the most recent entries lately have seemed Star Trek related......but that is all with good cause as I am sure you know why? and still today is one of the original cast members of STAR TREK ( September 8,1966-June 3,1969) . Before we get to know the man who played James Tiberiius Kirk, let me say to him if he is reading this I Matt Byrd a fan of of all of your work from Star Trek and Twilight Zone and the yet to find stuff you have blessed the world with Will, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your friend Leonard Nimoy, whom passed away a month and day after his own eighty fourth birthday on February twenty seventh of this year. I'm sure you two shared a lot of family times together over your lifetime, and hope that you can be in the upcoming tribute rebooted Star Trek 3 movie for the true fans of Star Trek's sake.

I do happen to have two trivia questions that I think may stump your noggin, but first let's talk of Will's career outside of the show that made him the captain of a star ship known as the Enterprise. Now I mentioned Rod Serling's Twilight Zone as a part of Shatner's  work before being on a five year mission he was in two of Zone's episodes and both are grand pieces of entertainment in their own way without William being there. The one that you all know I'm sure is

"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" - where his character has just been released from a sanitarium and then experiences a fear of seeing a Gremlin tearing up his plane's wing and no one on the flight believes him. Yet I don't know if many of you recall  William as a new husband who seems to be fated to know what a strange fortune telling machine was telling him.
In the episode called
"Nick of Time". Outside of science fiction or Fantasy he has been in a cop show and a lawyer and on something called commercials as well most notable of late Priceline with Big Bang Theory's Penny actress. He has a book series called TEK....Universe and I have a few of those, he has written some Star Trek fiction as well. And today alone he can add another goal to his resume that of Still being the Kirk of Trek that is just a captain more than anything else Happy

eighty fourth William Shanter I hope you continue to enjoy your voyages and mission of exploration through out you daily life.

Oh and here are my trivia questions can you name each character that surrounds Jim Kirk in that photo above? And how many times did Kirk wear this

tunic seen here as oppose to his classic yellow one?
