A Spock comic that I didn't ever know of pt 1 0f 4
Hello comic fans and Star Trek fans alike,
Well I still can't believe that it has now been exactly one whole month since Leonard (Spock) Nimoy has passed away from c.o.p.d. at just the young age of eighty three. I have been trying as you know to keep the memory of his greatest character that most Trek fans enjoyed in their own life times and ways hopefully there I have shared my Best of moments as well as I can to your liking! Yet as I keep thinking of it I do feel that I have also fallen short on expressing it all the same so if you recall from just a couple of days ago I said that from this image seen here
that one of these very trades of two trades would be up for getting a review right away. Yet I know with all of sizes being a normal thirty two page comic it could be hard to see among all of these which are the two trades also all of that color of blue is quite a bit overpowering is it not in at least someway it is and even I know that as well as little ol you do, don't you know?

Truly a sad day for Mister Spock fans........
Ah....I'm just trying to think what more I can say about a man who played one of science fiction's most Iconic alien's that has delighted so many fans of not only Star Trek which was that alien's origins, yet also one of kind type of a human being who portrayed him I want to today honor TV/movie actor Leonard Nimoy. Just a month ago tomorrow he will have passed away from the smoking disease known as (c.o.p.d.) and yes today would have been his well I will let him explain it best as that very alien seen here
,with his captain of the ship he served on. Now I know I have talk a lot this month about this very interesting character known as Mister Spock. Yet I still don't think any of all of those words that I have written so far can tell not only you but myself as well how much the Spock character means to me Matt Byrd. Now I have to say I know I say that I remember most if not all things from the first time I have been introduced to something that I love especially when it is anything science fiction related, yet my very first episode of the original series truly does elude me? I would like to think it was in nineteen seventy nine when I went an choose to like the old Walt Disney movie "Escape from Witch Mountain" and "The Cat from Outer Space" for it may even of been Star Trek the motion picture that brought me to liking Star Trek as a kid if not that then for sure it was "Star Trek's Wrath of Khan that brought me to eventually seeing the original series on television. Yet as I say though I can't remember my first of knowing Mister Spock. I do hope that you the reader of this understand that as I said on February twenty seventh that even the best aliens are human at their core. The reason I liked Mister Spock was because as Leonard always said he was playing the part as a serious character no matter what his lines of dialogue were he saw the character as a hope of humanity in being inspiration for all of understanding ourselves. I never met him in person but fans of his that have said he was their favorite original series character but as to if their thoughts could be translated into words of feeling I would like to think they would sum up Mister Spock that way, but then again I just don't know?
As for how I see Nimoy's way of bringing Gene Roddberry's first true alien of Trek to life is Awesome for besides being funny at times Mister Spock was much like his second most popular catchphrase "FASCINATING for he never talked down to the other characters of the series except the good ol human doctor played by DeForest Kelly. He show a great love towards fans of Trek after having Spock die in "Wrath of Khan" he brought his beloved character back in the next feature appropriately titled "THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK" which he directed. Still I guess I can go on and on about how much even though he loved his character for a long while before even the first movie he tried so very hard to separate himself from his lovable character with a book titled "I am NOT SPOCK" , in nineteen seventy five . Then just a few years ago in twenty eleven he wrote "I AM SPOCK" where he pokes fun at himself and his most loved character. I believe that Spock was always best in being so smart for he stood up why being a knowledgeable in any world is just and he showed us more than anything being a Vulcan is just logical or in our cases of looking at life be the best you the that you can be in a wise way.
Happy 84th any way even though your no longer with us humans , Mister Nimoy & your iconic character Mister Spock

Countdown to a Wedding not sure if it is Mine Pt. (1 of 3)
Hello All,
Well as you all know there is a section of the "Alien series" where I love to pull a very interesting little thing known as a surprise added bit of fun with all of the interactions between the young woman named Katherine "Kitty" Katt and her still newest strange buddies. Who just so happen to be the true aliens of the series or in truth is it really the other way around? Well I know the answer to that more than any you for sure, yet let's hope with this first part of over the top one liners from the second novel within the series called
"ALIEN TANGO " can lead to more spewing of not just your meal that your consuming at this very moment (or whatever it is you are doing while glancing at this very blue colored text), but also that your crying so hard yet you still can't or don't know what to make of the whole cover image as a whole?
Now when we left off from at the end of "TOUCHED BY AN ALIEN" the first book in this series I told you of these Aliens that were from Alpha Centauri who were hunting down another alien race calling themselves "SUPERBEINGS" that could take on human form to hide within plain everyday sight an when the Centauries save Katherine Katt from a last day of jury duty she ended up smack dab in the middle something not really full of fun at least at first it seemed that way, still she had to admit she did like one of the aliens named Jeff one of her team mates at the time of while hunting down the meanest of the SUPERBINGS and her last bit of over the top dialogue was something to the effect that he a "Superfast beings shouldn't piss off the comics geek -girl". The opening of "ALIEN TANGO" isn't involving any type of Cha-Cha, Square, or even any Polka type of placing one's foot to the ground in the right spot...of moving to music of any kind. Nah in fact the novel starts with Katherine and her team that she is in charge of is learning more of how to fly air force jets, while Jeff Martini he friend of the friends of the A-C as they call themselves around each other seems to be keeping Katheine's mind focused on the matters of business of the moment rather it's good for both of them or not like when the two them are having a simple conversation while Jeff's cousin Christopher next to them both when Jeff mother calls them.
Christopher rolled his eyes. "If I have to tell Aunt Lucinda one more time that you're tied up in an important meeting, I'm going to kill you." Martini rubbed his forehead "What did she want this time?"
Christopher didn't answer and looked at me "Great landing Kitty."
"Your mother wants to know why you haven't dumped me yet and married a nice A-C girl or boy like your suppose to." A-Cs didn't have hang-ups about same sex relationships. They just had them about interspecies and interreligious ones. Christopher flushed. Got it in one! " It's not like that," he muttered, but he was now looking at his shoes.
"And you wonder why I 'm dodging her calls?" Martini hugged me. "Let's get inside."
"Jeff it's not Christopher's fault." It was mine, for being human an falling in love with her son, at least, as far as I'd picked up. Or Martini's, for doing the same with me. The whole "saved his life" thing didn't seem to factor in for Martini's parents. "Maybe if I met them--"
"Not a great idea!" both Christopher and Martini chorused.
"How bad can they be?" I mean, Christopher, your father seems to think I'm okay." Richard White was the Sovereign Pontifex for the A-Cs, or as I thought of it, their Pope with Benefits.
"My father thinks you're great."
"But I'm not his son's girlfriend." Both of them winced ,because that had been a close call, and the three of us normally did our best not to bring it up. So, my bad, as pretty much always. Maybe Martini was right to keep me away from his parents. Now I know that most of what was said here seems more of a deeper dramatic dynamic than so much as funny but I will dwell deeper in the third book of this series! Let's continue to see where the falling apart part are in this one shall we?
While Kitty and Martini are having a nice meal with her folks at the start of this story and learning of "BIGGER THINGS" yet to come for both of them throughout the rest this little yarn, there is without a doubt some very interesting dinner conversation.
Well, this topic had somehow gotten more unpleasant than the high school reunion one. I tried for another idea change-either it'd help or I'd achieve the hat trick in terms of bad dinner conversation. "So, Mom, which politicians are you seeing?"
"The President and his closer advisers," she said quickly. I got the impression she was all for us getting onto a mutual enemy kind of discussion. "Then some of the more influential senators and representatives." She made a face. "And, of course, some of the more repugnant ones."
"Like who?" I was all over the gossip. I never met these people, so it was like listening to E! D.C. Edition. "Any dirty affairs going on?"
Mom started laughing and almost spit her apple cider out. Martini and Dad were having a good chuckle, too. "Kitty, that's what Washington is dirty affairs of one kind or another." "Just making a joke," I muttered. Well, at least everyone else was laughing. "Just thought it'd be interesting to hear about what politicians your dealing with are like. I mean, I know the President, but I figured there could be bits of info you could share. "like who was zooming who, but I let that one stay unasked. "Pray you never run into the ones I dealing with right now," Mom said. "Like Reid," Dad agreed. Mom shot him a look and he clamped his mouth shut.
"Which subcommittees?" Martini asked before I could ask who Reid was and why we wanted to avoid him or her. I got the feeling Martini was trying to avert a domestic dispute, and realistically, if anyone would know when people were upset, he'd be the one. I let my curiosity pass.
"House South American Policy, Joint National Security, and House Immigration."
Oh sure, I ask, I get jokes. Martini asks, and she tells him everything. "Why would any of those be something you couldn't discuss with us?" Okay I let my curiosity about this Reid person, like what full name was, pass.
Everyone gave me the "duh" look. I gave it more thought and reminded myself that Chuckie had spent years teaching me how to be suspicious of anyone and anything. "We just had superbeing action in Paraguay, that'll be nasty no matter who knows what. Security and superbeings go hand - in -hand." I looked at Martini. "And I guess we do have a large immigrant population that'd fit right in with the rest of America's melting pot."
Mom nodded. "Yes It's nice to see some of the money we spent on your education wasn't wasted on keggers, comics, CDs, and football games only."
It seems things between the A-Cs and other ordinary humans seem to flair up really out of the gate just as Christopher's father Richard sends the team out to stop a possible Superbeing related event which leads into knowing more about this Reid "gentleman" that was mentioned above. When it turns out he is involved in a grand scheme to spread fear of knowing an A-C. Or is it more loathing than just fear? Here is Kitty's run in with Airport security, and Jeff at her side no matter what when it occurs. The Cop looked at me, and I reached into my purse. He went for his gun. Martini moved so fast I couldn't see it, but the cop was on the floor, knocked cold. "Jeff, what the hell?" Christopher asked, as he pulled me to the side.
"Oh that's going to be easy to explain," Reader said as he exited the stall of wonder.
"Yeah," Tim echoed as he joined us. "Why'd you knocked him out?" There were a lot of other men in the bathroom, all frozen in what looked like terror and all wanting, clearly, to know the same answer. A-Cs really couldn't lie, even when they'd worked at it for years, as Martini had. It was as was always the case in our bathroom escapades, up to me. "Federal officer," I barked. "Nobody move." The men complied; most of them hadn't been moving anyway. I jerked my head towards the cop. "Let's get him out of here." Martini nodded and hefted the cop over his shoulder. A-Cs were strong as well as fast. I managed to keep myself from drooling-every time Martini did something I considered overwhelmingly manly I wanted to have my way with him immediately, regardless of the situation.
I looked around and gave the men an icy stare. At least I hoped it was icy. I'd been practicing, and in the mirror it was intimidating. Reader and Martini had, so far, only laughed at it. " Gentlemen, you're lucky. I'd suggest you all do your best to forget this incident ever happened." I stalked out, with the rest of my guys following. My icy glance worked on strangers at least.
We got out of the bathroom, and I turned so we were at a waiting area that, happily, had no plane leaving or arriving for a while, so it was fairly empty. Martini dropped the cop onto a seat.
"You could be a bit nicer to him," Reader said.
"He was going to shoot Kitty," Martini snapped. "Well , he was probably going for his gun. But that doesn't mean he was going to fire." "No," Martini looked right at me. "He was going to shoot you. I felt it. He panicked and thought you were going for a gun. He was going to shoot to kill and ask questions later." Martini had kept his tone level, but his eyes were flashing. "It's Okay ," I said softly. "You were there." I pulled out what I'd been going for in the first place and used it to slap the cop awake. Martini had both of the cop's arms behind his back. "Yo, Rambo, you want to maybe not think about killing a federal officer the next time?" I opened the thin wallet and held it in front of his face." "P.T.C.U.?" he asked sounding fuzzy. "Presidential Terrorism Control Unit. You might want to learn these letters, son. Or I'll make sure you spend the rest of your days in Nome, Alaska." He nodded. "Sorry ma'am. You startled me." "You're lucky you're young and I'm somewhat forgiving." I looked up at Martini. " Let him go." He did, reluctantly, and the cop rubbed his wrists. "Look, please don't tell my superiors. I'll get reprimanded."
Martini lost it. He grabbed the cop by the back of his neck and flung him against the wall. He was in the cop's face within a moment, one hand holding the cop by the throat and off the floor. "You were going to kill her," he growled. "You better pray that all you get is a reprimand when I'm through with you." Christopher jumped over the seats and grabbed Martini's arm. "Jeff , not now and not here." Reader was on his cell, talking urgently. Tim was moving people away, telling them this was police business. And I had no idea of what to do. The cop was panicked and I saw his hand reach for hi gun again. "Kid, you really want to die, don't you?" I asked softly. His eyes met mine. "He's gonna kill me."
"No ," Gower 's voice came from behind me. At least Reader had had the brains to call for backup. "He's not. However, I'm going to have your badge pulled. Jeff, take his gun and let him go." Martini wasn't moving. "Jeff .... please," I said softly. He stood there for another few seconds , then he nodded and let go, pulling the cop's gun so fast I didn't see him do it.. He handed the gun to Gower , he didn't look away from the cop to do it.
So as you all know I may have in the overview of the actual story itself may have given out even better parts of the funny bits for sure, so I guess the only thing I have yet to share with all of you my grand readers is the ultra cool true beginning of this novel.
Which is this, ALIENS WALK AMONG US. Six months ago, that line would have totally freaked me out. Now I'm living with thousands of them and dating one-if you define dating as spending almost every walking hour together and pretty much every sleeping hour together, too, while maintaining separate living quarters. Aliens do walk among us- it helps that they're here to protect the Earth, and they're all gorgeous, too. They also run at hyperspeed, have talents humans don't, and really have the edge in terms of stamina, seeing as they all have two hearts. From my vast but specialized experience, they're also godlike in bed.
However, they can't handle human machinery like cars or planes, and they can't lie to save their or anyone else's lives. So humans have nothing to worry about. At least, not from the ones who live here.
From the others out there in space? Oh yeah, worry. Worry a lot.
But remind yourself that "our" aliens are watching over you, protecting the Earth and its citizens from danger. And if that doesn't make you feel all secure, this should. I'm watching over you, too.
Huh. I sort of expected more than the "Sounds of Silence."
Tough room.
For sure there will be more giggles I'm sure while I look for part two's laugh track which I can assure you will be fun no matter what?

Only 3 minutes left of my own aging day........
Hello yet again on my very starting date in the puzzle known as existence of life,
Well with today being of course my four hundred and thirtieth year of starting out on new excitement in my everyday life I have to say I almost forgot how to write it into words because of just what I ended up doing? With today being Tuesday I had asked my boss a couple of weeks ago if I could just Jet set today aside for myself and she agreed to let me take off my birthday, oh and if I didn't with how long of time that I have been with Albertsons" I would have up until a month to use my vacation day" of birthday pay. So there is one sad thing I have to say I was hoping to already be done with this book seen here
but even though I tried as hard as I could since I started it exactly one month ago on my nephew Cannon's birthday. Yet right now as it stands I'm only on chapter twenty two out of seventy three chapters maybe I'll get some head way chopped out to my goal of at least chapter fifty hopefully soon? Yet speaking of my brother Micheal's and his wife Kathie's own if I may use the word Dynamic Duo seen here in
fright mode or stun mode I guess by the looks of these photos Kathie took while we had dinner at Red Lobster after I got off work tonight Kathie and the crew pick me up at five thirty......... hey did I just say I was at work in that last bit, well in a way, I was with today being my day and all one my work friends yesterday told me that Kat who used to work at our store's Starbucks had opened her coffee shop in uptown Richland. Which happen to be connected to the other side of Adventures Underground. So now that store is very much in a way like Alice's trip through the rabbit's hole into wonderland. I only wish that I would have remembered my digital camera when I knew that I had that as a destination, today of all days, ah well there is always next time I guess huh? but without a doubt today is the only day of the year that I can blame it as a aging matter and know that it's true! Yet here are the
very comics and trades I got as a birthday gift to myself. There will be one of the trade that I will be reviewing soon here so be on the look out for it rather soon is all I can say? Yes and back to our Red Lobster birthday meals or rather mine I shall say was way over the top as these pictures
let on about, fot even my drink that I seem to be shoving up my nose is a rarity even for little ol me because I don't drink yet it was a mixed alcoholic drink. An hey when it's your birthday aren't you suppose to go all out and be a little wild anyway. Afterwards because the kids wanted to we went to sonic for milkshakes, I had a banana cream pie flavored one. Boy I'll say this for sure that is a really neat way to top off an Birthday evening, oh and I wanna thank all of my family and friends who wished me a Happy Birthday on Facebook love you all!

Shat's day
Hello to all true Trekker fans,
Look I know that a lot of the most recent entries lately have seemed Star Trek related......but that is all with good cause as I am sure you know why? and still today is one of the original cast members of STAR TREK ( September 8,1966-June 3,1969) . Before we get to know the man who played James Tiberiius Kirk, let me say to him if he is reading this I Matt Byrd a fan of of all of your work from Star Trek and Twilight Zone and the yet to find stuff you have blessed the world with Will, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your friend Leonard Nimoy, whom passed away a month and day after his own eighty fourth birthday on February twenty seventh of this year. I'm sure you two shared a lot of family times together over your lifetime, and hope that you can be in the upcoming tribute rebooted Star Trek 3 movie for the true fans of Star Trek's sake.
I do happen to have two trivia questions that I think may stump your noggin, but first let's talk of Will's career outside of the show that made him the captain of a star ship known as the Enterprise. Now I mentioned Rod Serling's Twilight Zone as a part of Shatner's work before being on a five year mission he was in two of Zone's episodes and both are grand pieces of entertainment in their own way without William being there. The one that you all know I'm sure is
"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" - where his character has just been released from a sanitarium and then experiences a fear of seeing a Gremlin tearing up his plane's wing and no one on the flight believes him. Yet I don't know if many of you recall William as a new husband who seems to be fated to know what a strange fortune telling machine was telling him.
In the episode called
"Nick of Time". Outside of science fiction or Fantasy he has been in a cop show and a lawyer and on something called commercials as well most notable of late Priceline with Big Bang Theory's Penny actress. He has a book series called TEK....Universe and I have a few of those, he has written some Star Trek fiction as well. And today alone he can add another goal to his resume that of Still being the Kirk of Trek that is just a captain more than anything else Happy
Oh and here are my trivia questions can you name each character that surrounds Jim Kirk in that photo above? And how many times did Kirk wear this
tunic seen here as oppose to his classic yellow one?

Learnig to fly is only the begining for Katherine Katt and her pals Pt.1 of 3
Hello my Alien crew members are we ready for Alien Tango or not?,
In the first book of this series which as far a I know stands at ten so far I broke up a sixty four chapter novel into three parts I plan on as I said in part one of that series of breaking up each of the next line of novels into three parters. So let's see why I have shocked look on my face
, right and is it wroth it's weight? This part of the story opens up that five months have passed since the last time we saw Katherine Katt and her newly formed team that she runs for the Airborne Division of Centaurion Division that hunts down what are known as SUPERBEINGS type of parasitic lifeforms that have been attacking the planet earth since the late nineteen sixties. There was a part in "Touched by an alien" where she and one of the Alpha Centtaurion named Christopher who is the cousin of her extraterrestrial boyfriend Jeff Martini needed to be saved she and his cousin swiped a plane from headquarters and neither one knew a thing about flying at all.In fact, they used her high ranking score of Star Wars:Starfighter game be her way of being in charge at that time. Now the three of them are with an another earthling known as Jerry whom is teaching miss rock and roll queen the basics of flying alone and he is with the Air Force. Katherine is no matter what still wanting to play her loud tunes while in training but for sure get a small but stronger handle on the matter of being in a plane's cockpit. Meanwhile there are still SUPERBEINGS out and causing more than just a bit of a fuss in the country of Paraguay and the Kat's team was in charge of dealing with them, and with Martini's help it was a cakewalk. Yet she has had a hard time of deciding to go to her high school reunion.
We come to find out that after having dinner with her folks that her whole team is being sent to Florida for what she nor any member of the team know of right at first. while waiting to board their plane to go there they find a bunch of terrorist that were going to blow up the plane while on route that were known as Club 51 and having connections to a man that Kat and Martini had heard her mother be talking about at the dinner from the night before his name is Reid is all we know other than that he may know the leader of Club 51 who is Howard Taft. While waiting at their terminal at the Sagauro international Martini and Katherine were able to find a quite moment to have some (A.L.P.) in the weirdest of places the maintenance closet and when they got done she had Jeff carry a whole container of toilet paper back with them to their terminal so that Christoper wouldn't have to make a edited escape video for the airport security after they have left.
Once on their proper plane the team finds out from home base that the reason they are going to Florida is to find out about an incident involving one the team member's brother in an accident at the Kennedy space center Martini and crew show Katherine that they are really scary by being peaceful but carry equipment to show otherwise when things just blow up anywhere.......in which case a bomb has just exploded as they try to find their way to the control area of the center!

My own favorite Spock moments of the original series pt. 2 of 3
Hello All,
You know that it's really sad when you are hit hard by the passing of ONE great actor of YOUR most LOVED gene of the one you have loved all of your live, and you feel you know that actor as a friend or better yet a hero outside of real ones. It was just two days ago that the world of science fiction lost one of it's second greatest alien of all time, that is for sure the truth about Star Trek's Mister Spock whom was played by actor Leonard Nimoy who was there when Star Trek began with and un-aired pilot called "The Cage" and after zooming into the top of the starship from a top view point we come to the inside of the bridge
,where Mister Spock utters the first lines on Star Trek. "Check the Circuit" So the a second season of Star which has a set of stardates which are 3018.2 thru to the unknown I bring this up because I want everyone to know that at times through out every incarnation of Trek, which has last most of it's true cannon timeline through television with successors of the parent for forty nine years with it's fifty anniversary arriving on September eighth twenty sixteen. In the final part of this series I will list all of the original series unknown history, yet who knows maybe I have in a way talked about some of them on special occasion who knows......I'm just saying.
Okay here are my top three favorites of Spock episodes:
3."Amok Time" SD:3372.7
In this episode Spock is experiencing pon farr which is when an adult vulcan needs to return to planet Vulcan and mate. The most memorable moment is that Spock must kill Kirk, because his mate T'Pring wants this as Spock way of honoring her love. Also this is the very first time Spock utters his universal trek phrase that being "Live Long and Prosper" Also his famous hand sign which is apart of science fiction lore.
2. "Journey to Babel"SD 3842.3
For my number one Star Trek episode featuring Spock is Durum roll please.
Of the number one slot I have to say this first there were several attempts at making Spock a bad guy in all three seasons of Star Trek but none strikes out as much as .............
1. "Mirror,Mirror"SD:Unkown
This one was the next big twist to come to all of future Treks minus Next Gen (but not really, for that series they did well with "Yesterday's Enterprise and it's alter verse parts.....) Mirror, Mirror showed the amount of true evil the original series was willing to go! Yet alter Spock was just cool with his beard he was almost more like Flash Gordon's foe of Mongo Ming the Merciless.
Ah you thought I was gonna let you go huh? well with this being the first of the month I still have a few things to touch on and I know you know what they are so let's see what the plate here at the site looked like shall we?
Now as you all know lately I have been having ideas of playing a monthly game of Chess between fictional characters of a hero or superhero nature, I was and still am looking for a downloadable way of playing the game on my tablet. When last month I was thinking of the horse piece of the game board I was also looking at images of the part of outer space known as the horse head nebula and found this one of the Enterprise 1701- D flying towards it, yet I didn't know at the time of using it the background would appear White so if I wrote in that color of text no one would be able to view it. Still it was so neat I decided to keep it. While still talking about the game of Chess at the same time I was looking for a Horse head nebula picture I was using "universal chess of outer space as my search pattern
and found this. A cosmic chess board of the planets as chess pieces oh and look the player's hand and arm are rather well the color we respect on the seventeenth of this very month. Now am I forgetting something before I warp into the transporter to see where our adventures take us next as in tomorrow I know I know the answer of something is missing? Ah yes my set up for this month's chess match and last month's answer: So last month I said that Superman and the incredible Hulk are playing a game of skill against each but that they were doing it as Bruce Banner and Clark Kent and that there is NO WAY they can use their super self to win the match, yet somebody has to who would it be? Answer is Bruce Banner would because not only is he smarter at games like this he would pull out a Kyptronite game piece every time Clark would think of blowing the game off because of it being too hard on him. Winner The incredible Hulk!
For the month of March and to still be playing honorable Spock tribute moments to Leonard Nimoy the players for March are Mister Spock vs Mirror Spock? Now just so you all know as of right now I have no answer for this one funny or otherwise.
To be continued.......
