Why being Thankful today is so meaningful

Hello all,
Thanksgiving is without a doubt the most underrated holiday there is, wouldn't you all agree? I am not here to ask you to provide an easy answer for that very question for even I may have an answer that means as much to me as yours would mean to you, but truly in the end of it all what matters most is family. No matter the amount of distance in the way of miles that separate us from our families we should still reach out to make today memorable with them because as time goes on we never will truly know if we can see our love ones....by this I mean no matter how much you love your family member weather they are related by blood of faith I know that every second of life matters......So as you all gather round for why your so Thankful for what you have been through this whole year please also be kind in remembering those who are poor as well! For even if you have nothing at all even a bit of turkey today, the most important thing is that by giving of yourself or ourselves, we can see how much we as humanity can have our eyes open to "WHY WE ALL MUST BE GIVING OF EVERYTHING WE HAVE IN ANYWAY POSSIBLE........" If we help at a place like the RED CROSS we are making sure that those who do donate their blood have it screened for the one who needs it right away. Or we can just invite a good friend that we know is without family or is lonely to a place where they can feel very much loved and needed for even a friend's life may be more interesting than your own. I guess what my main point of understanding what Thanksgiving is all about is that no one is ever really alone in the adventure known as life. Who knows you may even make a new friend if you are the type that keeps to themselves most of the time, just always have a open heart for those finding the meaning of sharing and caring outside of themselves!
