Happy "T-DAY" all!

Happy Thanksgiving, to one and all,
   So I have one tasty question for you if you don't mind ?, but please take a moment or a minute to read this Turkey feast if you wish? Well as you all know if you catch this every year at this time I start my Thanksgiving morning with stuffing of these kind of

 huge balloons that float down the streets of the grand city of New York for the event called Marcy's Day parade. Which sadly for this year I happen to fore go with a grade A bit of work at Albretson's. I had it pretty easy that my five hours for today went by as if I were swinging on a web line, like my pal Peter Parker does in any Spider-man stories. I went to where I go every year to my sister in law, parents and had a grand bit of time of seeing family that I haven't seen altogether since my niece Heidi's Birthday from last year. Michael did help me learn something about Digital cameras of late, that I'm can now say I have a new Digital Camera which I picked up yesterday in the early evening. What Michael showed me was that I could've prevented from earlier this month, of course it revolves around new memory cards have a very small piece on them that can help the user never lose information of any kind pictures or movies. As for how the meal went 

 he is a bit of what it looked like before we all put our mouths around all that was to be GOBBED UP, if you get what I mean?  Here is a great time to share a couple of after dinner plot holes of fun during those conversations I was talking about earlier with Michael being his kids target

we all went on our yearly feast burning walk down to Howard Amon park. We then came back an engulf some desserts of many kinds. So now I guess I can finally ask all of you who choose to celebrate "Thanksgiving How was yours by the way?

Boy you know there are somethings that I as a fan of Peter Parker wish I could help the world see that sometimes moments like the panel seen here from a Valentine's day special comic of happiness means a lot to the growth of everyone who makes their own moments in life wroth living for and be SUPER in a way. Would you please join both me and the Parker's seen here 

in trying to give hope to every person who tries to be a hero and a princess in the relationship known as a loving marriage, because I'll tell you right now not everyday can be a bed of roses in that way of life real or otherwise!

Hello All,
I know that I seem to be full of many different type of things as much as one who is always thinking of new ways to get more people to look at my little creation here. I won't deny that I try to get friends and family to peek at what I put up by at the same time of having just published it I go and put it link wise to the social site known as Facebook, now I know it might seem strange with it being so very close to the day every family shares any long overdue time apart by giving Thanks for all that we have been able to make from what we have in this grand little bit of time called life.  I also know that in part in the past I have shared with you all somethings I am thankful for on just that one given day. But for this year I am choosing to divide it all up over the course of the days leading to Thanksgiving itself. I'm not gonna say it as it's not like a ''TO DO LIST: for everyone else, it's kinda my own if you will "bucket list" of everyday living mostly! I know that bucket lists are things we as humans are wanting to reach and strive for, and I'm sure everyone has names for those said lists for me the name of my list is "Giving of Thanks", pretty appropriate since Thanksgiving is around the very corner, huh? Here is my top four for everyone wherever you are: I hope and wish that everyone can this year find a way to enjoy this big day known as "Turkey day" with someone close to you that you may even hold a grudge against take all of that frustration in your heart and put it away for a whole day.....

Hello everyone, 
If you all recall a few months back I had a chance to show you one of my many coffee table sized books. It is a cute collectable without a doubt mainly because of it's very cover seen here, 

what is truly neat about it's cover is how it resembles the famous image from sometime between nineteen twenty nine thru nineteen thirty one when the construction of the Empire state building began 

, it's name if you go searching for it is known as "Lunch on a skyscraper" if you don't wish to grab it from here. There is but ONE BIG LITTLE DIFFERENCE, can you spot it if the cover to "THE ABSOLUTE ULTIMATE GUTTERS OMNIBUS VOLUME 1" if it were not blurred? I'm sure you will try at any rate. What by the way is with there being "More from title, of this very post when it's the first huh?, say what? I just remember saying when I had put it into the post known as "INTO THE ZONE" I had may a promise of course to show you some bits of fun from it. So here is a funny take on Wolverine's origin 

cover. Since she is is a funny lady of comedy and as yet nowhere near death as far as we know yet this is great for those who wanna know more about the feisty lady known as B. White, or at least gives any comic collector a chance of thinking picking up the actual comic title itself.   

 

How I could have missed it is......

Hello sci-fi fans,
 Now I do know that not everyone who comes here loves all the many things I do, and I'm very much alright with that. Still for some reason I have to share with you how I missed the newest series from the most as far as I know hype man of productions.....Mister J.J. Abrams. I know I show put out an entry about the man who seems to be the next king of the world of any form of entertainment, at least from behind the scenes. Anyway I knew that this new science fiction series called this here 

had been advertised since start of mid September when the first games of football for this year had started on the FOX network. From how it is teased it looks a lot like I don't know maybe Robocop or something? There is one thing I know for sure it does have the new "BONES" from the newest take on the classic si-fi series that is represented by the starship seen here

heading into new unexplored risks of learning on it's five year mission of cultures, of seeking out the final frontier. Better known as Star Trek, in this though he plays a human cop teamed with an android partner of sorts after his human partner is in a very bad accident that I guess cause him to be fused with the latest machine parts to stay alive. I had of course missed it because even though it is a two night event and I will watch tonight's episode without a doubt is because I was watching "ONCE UPON A TIME" on the ABC network. but don't fear I will catch this series pilot when I can find out what FOX internet channel is.           

Where's the fun now Subway..... (pt.2 of 2)

Hello from the room of emptiness, 
So was it so hard to be able to find out where the joke was in yesterday's posting or not? If your answer to this is "YES...." I will tell you about it at the end of this one. Still what I wanna talk about today must be known as a real heart breaker, when one wants to consider what you like about the food you consume, weather you eat at home most of the time or like me love to eat out, at least most of the time. Now I have known that there was conversations at my local Subway restaurant of them eventually moving to a new location as far back to even before the young man seen here 

known as Jared had worked for the company, which was till  August sixth of last year. Now let me tell you the reader of this find page, that I Matt Byrd have always loved Subway ever since the latter summer of hen I graduated from high school in 1991, (which by the way those were/are Hanford High school's trademark colors that I wrote my year in, in case you were wondering..the reason I have loved Subway is because I have always been of a healthy mindset when it comes to what I eat. My favorite sub from back in the day was a foot long Turkey with everything on it expect the "HOT PEPPERS of either kind they had , which were Jalopies and Yellow Peppers called Pepperchinies on wheat bread that was my main stay for years....but I of course changed ever so often and that's what I'm let down about right at the moment. I have always had the restaurant really close by to where I live, and now the Subway that I have thought of as home since June 14,2000 has closed it's doors and moved up the street closer to my bank but a long jaunt for a sandwich after work when one is already tired. I'm sure I will eat there sometimes just not as much now.....As to the answer to yesterday Joke it was the WHOLE banner of Block Buster's that was the actual punchline.

Hello everyone,

  I 'm gonna take a guess and think that everyone would be thinking I want to talk about something I've always have dreamed of with the way today's very date lines up, right now I can put any thought into it for the moment. Well it seems, as if there is quite a lot that is going on today for sure, and not just in the way of new DVD movies coming out to be released. Which does happen to include besides the children movie of Snails racing known as "Turbo". Then there is this that came out

today as well and if you need to know what copy of this I'll really get of either the Blue Ray/DvD /digital copy or just the two disc DVD copy you'll just have to wait and see I guess? Then as anyone who is heard on seen through any type of news media that the company that made millions off of buying video rental store mainly (mom and pop places) known as "BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO" had been saved in latter part of 2009 from filing chapter eleven better referred to as Bankruptcy was saved at the time by the latest inventor to complete with everyone's local cable companies for the better deal on what you can get out of you television sets. It is called the Dish Network. It seems as if the owners of that mega outlet want cut the movie video retailer from their line of outreach since two other big companies known as Netflicx and Redbox has been winning in reaching out people who want see movies in the comfort of their own homes.That had come out sometime last week of the whole shutdown....What I find ever so funny even through for the many employees that they are forcing to look for new work is that right behind our store of Albertson's we have a "BLOCKBUSTER video "that happens to have a sign that I find well how can I say it rather laughable. The sign reads in bold Black letters on a yellow  banner "STORE CLOSING THIS LOCATION ONLY!". Then to make me feel worst than losing a sometime great place to check out what's coming out in the world of entertainment I went to BB to catch up on all upcoming movie and fan magazines it seems as if at the same that is taking place my favorite restaurant has closed it's doors as well.......

SOMETHING FOR ALL who served......

Hello to ALL,
Today is of course a VERY IMPORTANT DAY to remember those who are stronger in the face of danger than most common people in the country known as America. Now by any means I'm not saying that any one American citizen is weak of strenght at all either..... I'm taking my time and thinking of my own family members who are serving now. Like my sister Kylie, to all the way back to Ben Powers my grandaddy on my mother side of the family. On the other side of the Byrd family besides my sister, there was my dad his sister Betty and her husband Ted Arey and many cousins from on my dad's brother's Jim side of the family as well. The main way I know that all of these persons that I have mention right above are worthy of great honor is for the time of protecting our whole country, not just because they wanted or felt the need to, they like anyone shown in that image above all have/had the inner strength of courage to help not only strengthen their own resolve of helping them believe in themselves, but to protect everything they also love like everyone's freedom to be free from outward fear of whatever kind. I know that today later on Facebook I'm planing on writing something very equally inspiring to not only my sister, but also hopeful words of encouragement for all upcoming persons wanting/waiting to activity serve. To every Veteran I see today I will be more than honor bound from my heart and soul to Thank You with a handshake for your tour of duty. To anyone who is a Vet or activity serving Thank You as well if I don't see you know that these words that I Matt Byrd write on this very blog will make your strength in you power of belief will make you fight for freedom that much more important in your own heart and soul!

 It seems as if we are so very close to that very ominous # that kept Jenifer Graner's character of Sydney Bristow and the C.I.A. and SD-6 on their toes of the dead man known as Milo Rambaldi and his connection to something 

called page forty seven. Okay, okay so here is where our standings are in visitors hits as of the moment:forty six thousand six hundred and twelve. That if you ask me is pretty darn close to forty seven thousand and I know it maybe that it will get over that by the morning of November tenth two thousand and thirteen or it will be at least very close I'm thinking? I can tell you all outside of helping earlier today of with the cleaning up in vague part for the outside scene of this year's "Living Nativity" which is put on by my church known as the Cathedral of Joy I feel like a real heel of a gut smashing airhead! Why your asking I'm sure right well it seems when I last charged my Digital camera it went and I know not how but it died of taking photos all together. I am super PO at myself too  because I had put in one of my memory cards that had everything of two thousand and twelve on it. So stuff like this

and even more of cool stuff that I have to get from hard copy photos if I can find them of certain ones of post from earlier this year. The ONE THING I feel really bad about most of all was I had one really cool mini video recorded on the card of Stan Lee the co creator of the main Marvel comic universe that was really hard to get off of the channel known as "THIS". Still I know almost anyone who is reading this wants to know have I gone an seen this

movie yet since it opened on Friday?, well even through the answer for right now is a BIG NO this little hidden gem from an very old Hostess ad 

featuring the THUNDER GOD fighting for those Twinies we all love. So even through things are looking bad on some fronts such as missing great photos and needing to get a new digital cramrea, I won't let it give me the blues and just stop postings the blog no sir nothing at all will halt my ever thinking twisty brain, and the one thing that can stop me I just don't let it enter my thoughts at all.             

Sometimes life is more amazing than one can ever know!

Hello everyone,
   Boy where do I begin?, even I am not totally sure on this one. Something SUPER AWESOME even beyond any kind of  comic and especially beyond every SUPER HERO kinda honor about what I found out on Facebook about an hour or so ago really made me want to thank the fellow the whole world knows Savoir of all mankind, that is right I'm talking about Jesus and his awe striking power to bring a father and son even closer together, when one those two people has been in a very safe place for the last three years now. As anyone who reads anything here in this blog knows that my dad Michael Joe Byrd passed away in two thousand and ten. (In fact off to the right of the screen here you can read my loving, and heartfelt tribute to him), well on this past Sunday while trying to come up with something to write about" It was Wednesday...." soon to be revealed. At that given time I was looking all over the internet to see what I could find related to my dad at all the only thing I really found in my first search was an photo of him from when he was a teenager on a link to past obits from a online page of our local paper, The Tri-City Herald. Still wanting to know if there was anything at all more I went from just looking through image hunting (that of the sport was one thing dad loved with a passion) I went looking on the web even further..... it was through the second search that I was greatly rewarded, for on the soical site known as Facebook I had found a person on there with our family spelling of our last name and I took a great leap of faith after looking at the person's page this young man who shared dad's name has at least a few things in common with yours truly on some levels. So I then choose my words very carefully and told him what I was doing and why I doing it, I had told him it's okay either way if he doesn't respond at all, then earlier tonight I had found that I have a new friend known as Michael Joe Byrd. I also must thank our heavenly father known as God and his bridge way to us all his son Jesus.        

Guess what I totally forgot about?

Hello Ahhh there, Everyone,
 I can't believe it? I really can't, no not all at? but to me little ol Matt had a well how can I put this? A real laps of time this weekend. And like the two images seen up above these words don't ask me how but I just slept through the whole fall back of setting the time stream back a hour on late but early Sunday morning or rather before nodding off on Saturday night, but through it all even though I feel alright right at this moment something just seems a bit off and it's not about the whole missing an hour thing at all. It was this 

my here at least non see able Dark Knight Beard from before Ol Hallows Eve that I kept a couple of days after because I wanted to do something very much like this 

 

again. Hence being the grand Joker type of foe of ol Bats. The Riddler. But because of fifty miles per hour winds (I'm not truly sure how wildly strong they were, but I'm telling you from how it sounded to me, what it was) I really had planed on going all over my whole community in if not the whole costume at least in part of it, with a Batman logo symbol Tee shirt and that hat with both the beard back as black in color and colors to each question marks which were just behind the whole beard. But today without a doubt because I promised them at Albertson's where I work I will shave it off of the design before leaving later this morning for work. Now I do without a doubt have to get my thoughts of my thinking cap on as to what I will be doing for next year at Halloween time with my beard design oh the horror of it all.....    

It was on a Wensday......

  Hello All, 

Today is a very emotional day for me and my brother and sister, for it was on this date three years ago in two thousand and ten that we lost our beloved father. My sister Kylie put up this photo of the four us in 

his memory, at the house we all grew up in till about nineteen eighty four it was the Hoxie house.  You know no matter how well you have it in loving any family member that has passed on it is VERY, VERY, VERY, overwhelming to even talk about it no matter of both the length of passed  time or what the cause is/was that ripped that loved one away. I just remember my mom Nancy Powers Watson calling me this night three years ago I was at the very moment she had called been looking at my high school graduation photos but mostly looking at this very one   

seen here, thinking of just on the following Tuesday his sister Betty Arey and I were going to go see him before he was going on to a much better place, than dealing with all of his pain of the Parkinson's disease that he had since late 2002. It was right after my heartfelt conversation with my mom that I wrote "GOODBYE DADDY", where you know if you've read it I put my soul on my shelve plain and simple. The one thing in the passing three years since his passing that I won't ever forget is how nice his service was at Sunset memorial gardens known as Einan's funereal home. Here is one image 

of what my sister Kylie had set to remember him by just outside of the room the service was held in. It was a weekend later that we my brother Michael seen here   

and Kylie and Kathie my brother's wife and their kids Cannon & Heidi and Kylie's son Bryce over to the Playground of Dreams side of the Colombia river on the Kennwick side of town and took some of dad's ashes and threw them in his favorite spot of in the river because he loved to fish there all the time when he got the chance. Still even though it was one of my favorite birthday's of my whole life mainly because I just love playing with my age a couple of years earlier I love this photo of all of us minus my sister Kylie at the time here is one of the best photos of all of us 

 

Michael holding Heidi, our mom Nancy powers Watson, her husband Chuck, Spidey and me and of course the man of remembrance for today my dad Michael Joe Byrd we're all doing  web shooter stance with our hands. That was back in 2002, I just wish that all who read this today recall your best times with your lost loved one as much as I do with thoughts of my beloved father Michael Joe Byrd. Dad I want you to know your always in my heart and mind today of all days of any year.     

Ditko's day

Hello to all true Spider-Man fans,
 As I am sitting here listening  to a Spider-Man Crawlspace podcast of the very last story I  read while collecting originally from in two thousand four called "SINS PAST" along with other Spider-Man current bits. That story is the one where Gwen Stacy had children who turn out to be really Norman's Osborn offspring outside of his own son Harry Osborn. That all aside, today is a grand day for one of Peter Parker's main creators, and it's not who you'd think of? In fact a few years ago I paid tribute to this very person and since I pay kudos to stars that I know of this also includes the most enduring: Family! This guy created many of Peter's core arch foes from the scientist seen here 

, that now is in Peter's mind currently. His name is Otto Octavius to his greatest foe known as Green Goblin seen here         

which from my understanding will be having a bout with SpOck minded Spidey come the spring of 2014 before the release of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", which comes out in May. This creator was separated from the guy known as Stan by about five years of time. The creator I'm talking about is Peter's illustrative father known Steve Ditko Today ay he turns eighty six years young. He and Stan also made Doctor Strange a big hit after the strong strands of webbing success of the other half of Peter Parker's very active life seen here in these few panels   

of the comic book put out by Marvel comics titled "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN" He doesn't care about fame or riches he just wants fans to know his body of work that started with this

first page of Mister Parker's life from a final comic titled  AMAZING FANTASY # 15, dated August nineteen sixty two as it's cover release was actually released in the following month of September. It had three other comic stories in it as well as our boy hood hero known as Mr.Parker, those stories were "THE BELL RINGER","THE MAN IN THE MUMMY CASE", and finally there was "THE MARTINS ARE AMONG US". Of course way back then to see sale records of any comic was at least a good eight months or nine at most, so when the final tally for AMAZING FANTASY # 15 was collected as a whole wasn't till early February of the following year of nineteen sixty three, when the owner of Marvel saw the sale figures Martin Goodman was his name ordered the creative team whom put out that book nine months ago to make it a regular monthly book. Dikto's actual time on the title was from February nineteen sixty three to July of nineteen sixty six by the covers numbering, but long before that he and Lee happen to of had a falling out over the direction of which way the stories should flow for the series run, so Steve till this day hasn't forgiven Stanly Martian Lee       ,in fact if you look at this illustration of how Steve felt might give some insight at least in a very tiny way of why he started to not appreciate Stan as a coworker in the field of the comic industry, just take a gander at the first word balloon if you don't believe me.... Still even if Ditko wants to hold a grudge that's his choice! Like it is my choice to choose what I Matt like to put down in words on my site. Steve Ditko is a good hearten man I'm sure but his way of enjoying work for the sake of being a creative artist may have been lost a long time ago. So in wanting to wish Mister Ditko a Happy Birthday is very much approved by me because he needs to know he's thought of on this very special day. Thank You Mister Ditko for breathing a breathe of inked 

 

life into one of the most beloved comic book superheroes of our time, and your NOT at fault for how he is currently being received by comic fans around the world right now, but the first name of your last villain "JOE" is to me at any rate. Again best wishes to you, on your date of birth.
