Was it something rather odd that caused the event 14 years ago today in the year that I gradutated from high school?

Hello All,
    Boy when I think of today's date it will and does cause me Raymond Matthew Byrd  to be shaken for not only mine alone but for every American soul that seems to show very tiny respect of what happen in the state of New York from 8:46 am the North tower was hit by American Airlines Boeing 767 that was being controlled by terrorist group members of al-Qaeda to brake our meaning of Hope.An after burning for eighteen minutes a second Boeing 767 turned from it's flight path and slammed into the South Tower at 9:03 Am. At 10:30 Am Eastern standard time those very terrorists had achieved their dying wish to bring the north American continent Fear! Every year since that time that we as Americans should be showing and expressing the feeling of loving one another "I can tell you this I myself just DON'T FEEL WE GOT THE MEANING OF GOD SHOWING US WHY WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF LOVING HOPE." 
   Can I say, "I know what the right WORDS ARE TO SAY"  to someone who lost a friend or family member on that sadden day......I think deep down I would only be able to cry with that person out of hope more than anything than try to ever be finding  the right words are no words surly are not  necessarily justified for I know if I lost a real life friend because of that very event I would still be very broken for sure. I want to ask you all do you think beefing up all of our security measures around the whole world has helped here, the answer is both "YES AND NO" at the same time.  By this what I mean is for the most part we have taken on fighting those regimes of terror at their own front door for the last few years in one form or other. Still I do wonder have the results of the attacks made our way of looking at faith and loving one another simply vanish....... In my own way of looking at it WE ALL HAVE STILL FALLEN SHORT OF THIS! So how do we approach tackling this topic when we come upon this day September 11th, here's what I think we should ALL DO, PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING OUR OWN STRENGTHS TO KEEP US ALL HUMBLE in HOW WE REMEMBER THE REAL HEROES OF THAT DAY A FIRE FIGHTER or a POLICE OFFICER are our true saviors, and if you know either one in your own community Thank them for helping in thoughts for the lost HEROES in NEW YORK.
     Now just so that all of you know as for the title of this very entry I didn't graduate in 2001 but rather in June of 1991 and at the time like I am now but more so then I was in overload territory with loving everything about Spider-Man and back then before leaving to create his well known character of SPAWN comic book artist Todd McFarlane was doing his very last issue of the adjective less comic of Spider-Man

In it he joins up with the group that use to go by the name New Mutants but are now calling themselves X-FORCE, The team was going after a pair of Mutants whom any X-Men fans would know as Black Tom Cassidy and the Juggernaut, whom are fighting very near the streets of lower Manhattan and what is rather (not so surprising now)  is that throughout the battle Todd wanted to show how extreme even heroes can be when handling saving the day. Look at this scene of Scattershot attacking Juggernaut's face in draft form.

              Even back then in the 90's at the time this was not safe for any kiddos to view so the editor of the Spider-Books had Todd re draw the page and here is what it looked like in the end 

And yet to make up for what couldn't been viewed as the artist being experimental he had Juggy head butt his way through the North tower and Spidey and The X-Force group stood ready to beat the unstoppable monster down

Both books had to be read sideways. One more quick thing in the beginning of Spider-Man # 16 Todd threw out the name of his first born child on what? 

The BEST PARTS of a man known as Lyle (pt. 2 of ??)

Hello All,
 Look I know that I started a couple of days ago with a list of things of how I Matt Byrd want to remember my step brother Lyle Watson and as for the question marks in the title of these entries is because I know I may miss the truest part of my own meanings at times.  Lyle was super smart that I recall one time when just after we combined our two families we went up to a mountain resort where if you looked out around you all that you could see was the great green grass and highest tress and knew that you were free to doing whatever you could envision. Well one night we had happen to be playing trivia Pursuit, I can't remember if if was just he and I that were or if there were others as well I want to think now that I'm remembering that we had others playing the board game as well. I also recall that when the game got harder Lyle found a lot of the questions really easy, still two answers I remember getting right that stick with me till this day "Who wrote the 1818novel called Frankenstein?" was the question and what came out of my mouth was "Mary Shelley" and a big smile loomed on my face...The second question that I was asked was "Name the candy company that makes the Snickers candy bar?" Of course this one took me a few minutes to think of? how I reach the answer was at the time I loved the candy bar known as a MARS BAR and the more that I thought of it The Mars company was my final answer as they say on the game show known as Jeopardy! and I was right again. Other games that we played as a family weren't so fast thinking on the brain as I or Lyle loved but they were still mighty fun, one those games was something called "SPOONS" where after playing a card game where you had a set of tfour of a kind after you got that you would try and not be the last person to end up without a spoon because you didn't want to be left holding the cards at all for you got stuck with everyone else points on top of your own as well. They way game is played is like like musical chairs game of when your a kid with one less chair/spoon than there are players but all of the spoons are set on the table with the .part you eat with like this seen here 

expect that at our house we played the game on the dinner table when we played. Another game that Lyle was good at was any kind of board game from the earliest one known as Monopoly to Hotel where you tried to get every hotel in the game first by outsmarting your opponent. Lyle without a doubt loved games of all kinds for sure. Speaking of games let's see who won last month chess game between the Sith lord known as Darth Vader and Professor Xvaier of the X-men? I think that Lyle would have this as his answer to this  winner of the outcome Xvaier''s in the match because he don't need to have a glow stick weapon known as a light saber and Vader is trapped in his metal suit so of course it would be this guy

Smurfs cartoon who would be the ultimate Blue Winner! Now on to other games while we are at it for sure I know that you have been looking at the plate here on the site and saying 

HUH?, well truth it is a Lyle favorite I'm sure with all things sci-fi related of modern images of science fiction spelling out Coexist. Then of course I had this as my desktop wallpaper image that Lyle would highly approve of

The Original crew on London's Abbey Road, then out of respect for whom I know of science fiction characters that would make the best candidate for leader of the free world that is most logical would be without a doubt

The Best parts of a man named Lyle (pt.1 of ??)

  As you all know Yesterday officially marked the year point since my step brother Lyle Watson was rushed to Kadlec hospital because of a blood colt on his brain. I know that I have happen to of put up a lot even though not all posted yet parts of Lyle under this very label and more than anything even if at times it has been worded the same or sounded the same it sure as HECK DOESN'T MEAN I LOVE HIM ANY LESS! One very good thing Lyle loved to do was understand life in simple terms and one thing he just loved doing was spotting things in either a movie he watched or a television series because it was one thing he couldn't stand was a bit of detail weather BIG or Tiny couldn't be left to chance no matter what? He was like I have said before a huge fan of since fiction especially Star Trek stuff or Star Wars of the main two ongoing legacies Still he did like of Star Trek The Next Generation and of course The Original series  and all of their feature films at least I thought he did now talking of the latest two new ones"Star Trek 2009 and INTO DARKNESS" I never got around to having such a conversation about with him but I'm sure he did have very strong concerns of how much the latest one "INTO DARKNESS" ripped  off most if not all of it's story from the all time best Trek film of Trek Fans known  of course as Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan.  I also know he loved J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings films he wouldn't find a darn thing wrong with those and even if he did I'm sure he overlooked them but then again who knows expect Lyle and God for sure!    Here is what I have as my cover photo on Facebook in Lyle's honor:

A whole YEAR OF Time since.....

Hello All,
  You know there are sometimes in life things you wanna just forget or never wish or want to recall remembering because it hurts so very much so, but even through all of that very type of hurt or pain YOU WILL/DO HEAL IN YOUR OWN TIME OF GRIEVING I know that it was just a month ago that I was talking about my step brother Lyle Watson's passing at the given time it was only eleven months time. I know that I have shown and told of not only his and my favorite color being  that of course is  Blue, also I have shared a lot of our same loves of comics and book reading as well as finally our most loved thing of all science fiction. There is one thing that his favorite drink did last year over the summer that was rather cool and that was coke cola went and put out "Share a Coke with"..... When they brought them back this summer I tried as hard as I could to find "Share a Coke with LYLE and as far as I know they have put one out with HIS NAME ON IT I remember Lyle's dad Chuck telling that he and my mom had been in Switzerland early last summer before his son's passing he had told me when they were there you could pay a buck and watch YOUR OWN BOTTLE LABEL made and attach to it's own bottle, I know Lyle would have liked it if not loved it in a tiny way for sure. Lyle's younger sister Merri went and made a message board for talking about her beloved sibling late last September for immediate family that knew Lyle and his likes best on Facebook. It is that very message board that has helped my inner soul heal over the year of time especially about knowing about Lyle from his very own sister, which I am very confident has helped her heal her very heart and soul just as it has mine.

Also this whole time on Facebook I will be changing my cover page and profile photo in honor of Lyle who was a good young man at his inner soul but always wanting to seek more from life over all. SUPER SAD NEWS -for True Batman fans

Hello All,
  It is what does happen to all of us in the adventure called the trial of existence....It is known as the passing of a beloved family member or  a good friend that you know of what it is that I am talking about. Here is what my Facebook page looks like  I had this

Which is rather overall fitting since I love to read mostly in my spare time, but for a small brief time I have put a hold on the Alien Series in exchange for trying my first Doctor Who novel and trying to get to know the British science fiction character for sure! In regards  of figuring out that very love I had this 

as my profile photo which seems apporite  or so I think it does fit the bill rather nicely well?  It is with a very sad feeling of love that today my very topic is again about the comic book medium in a very heartfelt way...While on Facebook just a few minutes ago I found out that the Adam West take on Batman lost a very important part of what made the later half of the series flow so easy on young boys eager eyes for weeks on ends...sure the young girls had Batman's pal Robin the boy wonder to keep them entertained with his "Holly This or Holly That " one liners. 
     By the series third and finale year the creators did something rather clever the brought in Batman and Robin's  off time companion from the late sixties as well in the Batman comic number 

BATMAN #359.  The story was by comic writer Gardner Fox and the art was by Carmine Infatntino. In it like the television series, Batman and Robin don't learn who Bat girl 's    secret, for it is always Bruce's respect for her help that he always stops Dick Grayson from going after their friendly partner in crime, when in truth we the viewer are the only one who knows it is the daughter of commissioner James Gordon  Barbra Gordon who is really Bat girl who was portrayed by Yvonne Craig 

who just passed away at the age of seventy eight of breast cancer on the seventeenth of this month but as I think of her I have changed my Facebook cover to this seen here

There are two points that still need to be made of  Yvonne Craig that are neat to know from a acting parts that she had outside of being Bat Girl , one is that she was in two movies with Elvis Presley "It Happened at the World's Fair" and "Kissin Cousins". Also she played on the always mentioned here Star Trek series in the original series in the third season episode called "WHOM GODS DESTROY"  as the Orion slave girl who happens to be the color of the skin of Marvel's character known as The Incredible Hulk. In the very episode at some point after dancing for captain James Kirk, her character known as Marta kisses him on the lips. 

Yvonne was born in May 16th  1937 but according to a friend of mine named Chan he has a history of the Batman   television series and I remember him showing it to me some point and he says the book claims Yvonne Craig was born in nineteen forty one, but I am not sure that I saw it so as to how much truth there is to that really of when she was born is anyone's guess you can believe a book or the internet   is all I can hand out as a answer to a question that may baffle us for a long time about how old or young the person who played Bat Girl  is....I say believe what your heart feels is right is what you should find best to hold on to, I guess! Oh one last thing I'm sure in the current Bat girl comics put out by Detective Comics will have mention of Yvonne's passing and will let fans share their best episode of Batman  that she was in.

  Just so you all know this very television series that I am very determined to have all out of it's original four volumes (which is how they ran with the seasons) isn't my so called first redo of watching something so tightly knitted together, as a whole. The very first thing that was is a Japanese cartoon series which are called and known as Animes, was Star Blazers as it was known here in America and yes here and there you ol valiant readers know that is scattered as much as anything Spider-man related on this very blog. Still here is

Hello All, 
  I can't believe that I have been putting off getting into the canceled television series HEROES for this long after hearing about it coming back this upcoming September as a re- energized mini series. The new miniseries is called "HEROES REBORN" and it's premiere release airing date is on September twenty fourth, which is on a Thursday night at 8/7pm Pacific time zones. Yet even though I have had the whole series of Heroes series of all four seasons I have yet to really understand them at all till a few minutes ago I just got finished with the HEROES original pilot episode so let's dwell in on them and see if the wait for HR will be worth it's golden green light shall we?
