Off to a place known as Mount Rushmore, EVentually........pt II. of X

Hello all,
                 Well so how is everyone, doing for this fine Sunday evening? for many of you it is just the end of the weekend and you'll have to return to whatever you nick name your workplace...... if your my young ripe age of four hundred and twenty years young, but of course I Matt Byrd am not really that old in life, still a joker none the less, I am really forty two if you know by these words that I the writer are meant to be the truth. You know that from the past two entries I am now on my yearly vacation for this year, and after last night's dinner with my mom and Chuck at the place seen here

 

in the small town near Minneapolis, Minnesota, called Harvest Grove, we all had a little something different to eat at CHIPOTLE which as far as I know is a mid western chain of restaurants. I had a steak burrito, while my mom had  salad and Chuck had a different topping burrito than me. It was as you can tell 

really good. Still last if my mom wasn't resting in the wee early evening we would of had dinner with Merri's second child Paris away from her high school campus......but all well, today is a new day, and yet when I woke up this morning I knew I had forgotten something for one the three kids having a party today at Paris school which is called Perpich high seen here.

      

what I forgot was a birthday card for one them while for Portia I had also a long awaiting gift of Albertsons old card you had to have to get savings as a shopper. So we went over to "Target" which for anyone reading this wants to know Target stores originated in Minnesota and the one that was closet to us was just across the street from where we were staying.We all went in while I got a card from there for Kayla Mae and I got a pair of BIC writing pens as well, we then headed out for Perpich high school which was about a half hour drive. When we got there we had expect Paris to be our greeter on school grounds, but instead it was Merri's oldest Portia who showed us the way to the party room and Nathaniel open the doors since the front was in need of repair. This was one of three most important things I had planned for this very trip seeing family that I hadn't last seen since two thousand and two, so this a very special treat for sure! There were three themes going on at once a "AVENGERS", "FROZEN", and finally a "LORD OF THE RINGS", I was Raven Lee's Olaf

girls with their cakes Kayla Mae, Raven Lee, and Paige with their Avenging brother Nathaniel beside Kayla Mae and all those kids are watched over by Joshua. While everyone was cleaning up after the party I was granted a outside tour of the school by Portia and Kayla Mae and Nathaniel Here is Portia showing me

Portia when she was going to school here, was on one of these walls with her guitar for her senior photo and if you look hard enough you'll find it in this blog somewhere like her birthday month. We were playing on the swings till when Merri and Ken brought their van around to take us to Harvest Grove's community swimming pool where Chuck and I besides Ken and Merri were swimming for at least two and half hours. And here is my actual only photo

Hello All, 
 Hey I was just gonna let you all in on a fun little secret of the main point of my vacation for this year, of course you all know that last night was a grand ball of family fun at the chicken place known as I said "WING-STOP" where every Friday night starting at nine till midnight you can sing songs as good or bad as the people on "American Idol" do, I ended yesterday's post with saying Bon Voyage. Yet that still tells all of you nothing of why I got up so darn early this very Saturday morning as early as I normally do, when I go and help my buddy Jeremy Johnson with the Saturday morning breakfast at our church called "Cathedral of Joy", for Men breakfast. One  thing, that I also didn't share with you all was that good old boy, that I am chatted with him on Thursday night to make sure that he and the other guys could handle the next few weekends without their acclaimed "BACONAITOR" while I was on my famously well known world travels as I've been known to call this time, as my folks and I are just Checking ourselves abroad a DETLA flight to  Minneapolis Minnesota which will take four hours time to get there, yet who in the whole wide world are we planning to go see your asking huh?, it turns out besides going on the adventure of a lifetime to see four famous presidents in stone in South Dakota we are off to visit my step sister Merri  and her family of ten kids. Here is what I had happen to of put into my carry on was my comic book trade that my brother Michael and his family gave me last Christmas.....  called X-men  Days of future past, and since a movie of the same name is being released by 20th century fox studio's before I return from my vac, vac I got thinking it would be nice to know the comic story , but I think it's gonna be so very hard to do with everything we have planned for the whole trip. Also I had happen to of packed in my carry on a couple of books from the current science fiction series that I started right after being done with the two most famous tales of a little girl known as Alice,  and most importantly I did remember to pack my digital camera so I can add photos to the blog later on after writing most about this very grand vacation that we are on. When we landed later today in Minneapolis airport and before putting one of those said novels away and departing from the plane my Zipper on my over leaf part of my carry on broke off but it was bound to anyway, for it was a small piece of plastic that was the grip of zipper. Maybe somewhere on this trip, I will find a special key chain to fix the problem down the road, but for now Chuck my step father gave me a key ring to help the situation for now.

The end is just starting........

Hello all,
 Hey I know that by the very title of this entry shown here, that many well maybe many any way forgot that when I had posted my review of "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2", that I had let it so we say slipped that I was headed out of my famous little town known as the Tri-Cities. Well today was my final day of work at Albertsons for the next two weeks of time, so that means that my store of Albertsons that had the announcement of the Monopoly game that ends officially on the twentieth of this month lost their "Chi-Cia" ANNOUNCEMENT That everyone within the store says they will miss it?, at least most of all the customers will that know me best, this I know of. Well this vacation that I am going to enjoy the fireworks of will be beginning in a few short minutes when my mom Nancy Watson and  my step father Chuck Watson arrive at eight pm, we will load their rental car up with my stuff for the trek out west, and go to WING-STOP in Pasco to enjoy one last night of singing fun with my brother Michael and his family before going to my old place of work known better as the hotel chain the Red Lion Inn. So as they say in the movies "I'm gonna  see ya later kiddos"

 Look now I know that for me myself I know that it has just recently in the last three years have I notice that everyone who is a science fiction freak knows that today is known forever more as "National STAR Wars day....." kids of the last four decades yeah I know I now am dating myself aren't I?, have for their knowledge of first getting into anything science related that is fictional jump at a chance to see these guys 

 
better known as Darth Vader and his family of FORCE ROCK. Writer/director George Lucas back in that mid nineteen seventies started a project of his own creation called STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE  that for at the time stretched movie making to it's farthest potential with special effects. I mean sure he in his own way was talking about dark over light on the big canvas of dealing with worldly problems, most notably the Vietnam War in a big flashy Saturday morning matinee that if you were a kid fifty years before, when you saw a short story film before the main feature. Still yet even through today is "May the 4th be with you day" it is also another very non forget full day for my brother Micheal, and my sister Kylie as well as myself we can never forget that today is

our dad Micheal Joe Byrd's birthday and even if we as the kids can't always remember for what the world does we happen to have a better reason to honor this very day. Without it even if Nancy Carol Powers is our mother without him Micheal, we three wouldn't exist, or maybe we would but because of Michael Joe Byrd bless his soul we would be very different people, and even though Michael died on November fourth, two thousand and ten his birthday is very special to me Raymond Matthew Byrd his oldest son no matter what!                       

This week on SNL

Hello All Spidey fans, 
Well I'm not sure of if you are a fan of the newest Spider-Man movie, or I should say it rather correctly so "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2" for which I saw it last night and in 3-D. If you would like to know what I thought of the film just look up above, for my review.Did anyone know that Andrew Garfield who is the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man happens to be on Saturday Night Live hence this was why I put the above panel of him meeting the nineteen eighty one cast from a book marvel called "MARVEL TEAM UP", it ran until nineteen eighty five and stopped at issue number 129 with Spidey and the then team of X-MEN who also happen to have a new movie coming out soon. I had planned to actually see this one since I knew it was coming out for over two weeks time and all but a very funny spoof of the bridge scene from in the movie was the only part that I really caught of this episode and yes I have to admit it was very funny because the director kept putting in Saturday Night cast members in Garfield's place with Emma Stone who plays Gwen Stacy in the film, finally after four failing attempts, the director puts the lead singer of the gust musical band in the scene only to have Manhattan blown to bits by you know who if you have seen the film. All in All I loved what I saw of that bit that it makes me wanna see the film again at least once!        

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Matt's Review

Hello All Webheads of wonder,
    Before getting started on the latest movie of the young man seen here thinking of his first love 

known as Miss Stacy, I went searching for a image to best give you of "What  THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2" is comparing to comic history of  "THE NIGHT GWEN STACY DIED" from the year of 1973. This is what I found  image wise that just blew me away what is Peter Parker's second greatest lost of love outside of "Uncle Ben" or even his own child little May from the clone saga of the 1990's.   

Now I want to let everyone know that this movie comes out to celebrate "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN' S fifty years" of history...... they end it with as I said Peter's greatest personal love dying throughout the whole story is really rushed. This take of the title character is very much like the character from the comics, and I love Stan Lee's cameo as a guest at Peter & Gwen's high school graduation, when he is the only one to see Peter rush into the ceremony hopefully unseen. His line by the way is this "Hey I think I know that guy?" This movie does have a lot of great feeling of being Peter Parker being suited up like his comic counterpart for sure, better than the last four films, especially since the first one of this trilogy (?) To almost everyone who will see this film I hope you do regardless of what my words reflect of what you may think for yourselves, the film to me spends way to much tape a scene here paste a word  dialogue balloon there. The film takes away the Peter and  Aunt May moments and gives the viewer a whole unneeded story of Peter's parents more so of his dad than his mother..... and never a scene with his newspaper boss ( we only know that Peter has no interaction with his greatest foil Johna Jameson). I know that there is one other scene that really makes this movie stand out for me is when Spidey helps a young kid who is being bullied by older kids by fixing the young man's science project and walking him home. Then near the end the film that same kid show me Matt why kids are so much wiser than we give any kid credit for he faced down his fear and grew strength from when Spider-Man had help him from before..... I would say that even through this movie has many holes in it's foundation I'd rate it a A minus for it's effort. Also because I got this cool photo of myself with the standee 

at where I saw it!               

Okay so here's what I know WON'T Happen today.............

Hello Marvel Movie fans,
   Okay I want to ask you ALL something?, what are you gonna do this weekend comic book theme wise? For I'm sure as I know everyone who is a fan of the Marvel Universe knows without a doubt that of the movies based on superheroes this summer all belong mainly to Marvel! Ahhh to bad Detective Comics lovers, but you at least have better television series that I know of

, with the guy seen here. Known in reality as Stephen Amell on the series called "ARROW", he plays Oliver Queen. Which will have it's second season end while I'm again on vac-cay. Say what so I won't see what happens but please no one tell me anything ok? Still what I was truly planning on doing tonight was go and see the new movie about my grand ol pal that I am seen with in my very arms here from a great birthday a number of years ago. My main man of marvel joy outside of that fellow who always has a problem when he has a thing called a temper temperament with something known as RAGE. Is none other than good ol Peter Parker
 
, better known as Spider-Man. I have as I said before love this character like a huge amount of millions of other people do and I'm sure I always will, but to me right now, I believe that ONLY THIS NEW MOVIE CAN SAVE THE WHOLE INTENSIVENESS OF THE TRUE CHARACTER OF PETER PARKER AS A TRUE LITERARY. For the last seven darn years the character has never been a hero to anyone at all, expect people who like to make a sloppy amount of money,just to make money to line their own pockets with what they know is worthless story progressiveness at all. For the last seven years Spider-Man who is Peter Parker heroic name HAS NOT HAD a deed he has done since the end of OMD (One MORE Day) be worthy of being put to paper at all.....now you may think I'm upset because Peter and Mary Jane seen here

     kissing aren't together anymore as a married couple, well that is ONLY PARTLY IT, What I don't get is this okay you have the heads at Marvel Comics bickering in the offices as to what's wrong with their most popular comic book character and back then ONLY ONE ANSWER IS ACCEPTABLE, HIS MARRIAGE KILLS THE CREATION OF THE MYTH. To me a person who is very accommodating to new ways of telling a story am fine only a wee little bit with that idea? Why then the question mark for that last statement. Here is my thing about it all in a web being swung at my ideal look at Peter's life, the reasoning that I Matt Byrd have been so damn hard pressed to NOT LIKING SPIDER-MAN for that said length of amount of time is this: Marvel get your act together for fans of SPIDER-MAN, who love the all parts of the character have a married Peter set of a time line of stories because ONE MORE BOOK WILL SELL and MORE THAN ANYONE COULD as the song by Christian   performing group Mercy Me known as "I CAN ONLY IMAGINE" I know you'd have your fans have a shock of forgiveness towards the company that could use a HUGE BOOST in sales, period. Okay I'm done with my  own reasoning of why the Spider-Marriage should go on expect for ONE SMALL little thing, that being of course Marvel would had their character back in two thousand and twelve not just fifty years of being around but also I'm thinking thought wise twenty five years of grand yet unknown happiness? I just wish Marvel as a company would just stop putting out Reboot after Reboot of their whole original universe with a Mister Yuck sticker attached to their current stories....like I said enough is enough! Marvel as I said before has a hold on the super hero genre with hits like Captain America The Winter Solider, Guardians of the Galaxies and of course X-Men Days of future Past. Still before those two movies comes The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which as the title of this entry was to be all about before anyone else could write it up was what the plan was, then talk nonstop about the film either way it goes on Saturday during "Free Comic book day". I got to where they were screening it closet to me too late, so instead I went and got my Spider dress up gear for seeing it tomorrow night and here it is 

in all of it's glory. Notice if you will the cool cross over of evil Joker baseball hat that I plan to wear just to let all the other movie patrons know how truly crazed I really am? There happens to be a very special pin there that I found at HOT TOPIC with Peter's and Mary Jane's daughter's name on it, and I know Mary Jane isn't in this one like she wasn't in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN either but one can always hope can't he? I as you can see there have two comic book stories that shall find my time full filled long after THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 is imprinted on my summer entertainment list of movies I wanna see. One very last I can say for sure is that deep down in my spider-man soul I'll still love the movie on some note.  

Now let's truly get to the reason we or I should say why you are here today, being that you wanna know why if I love the Spider-Marriage so much why the heck did I choose this image here

I'm not sure if I could pin down the very issue itself but to have aunt May with Wolvie's claws is a great April fool's prank for sure!), as my plate background here at the site. Despite a certain Spider-Man Editor in Chief, loving it for showing how silly a guy like Peter Parker should give up on real love to whom that very slashing aunt in this case proves she not Mary Jane is a self centered old lady who wishes she truly had benign super powers. As for my Desktop image for the month of April 2014 you could say is fitting as well in a feuding way       

  

that only a family can decide which universe of Marvel's is best the original known as 616 or The Ultimate Universe known as Earth-1610. It also looks like it's funny as heck was why I choose it.
