Hello Crawly ones,
 I know that I always seem to put up links in some of my many postings here at the site, and just today earlier this morning in fact I got to thinking after making one for comic reviews 2013 that it would be so much easier for you the reader of the blog known as Day lie of the Matt if I made a very simple link hopping page for you to find stuff. So like here is what you'll find here in new links that have just appeared! I happen to call this new header on the blog "Just a bit on the side" it will be located right over the Spider-Man wife question on the right there for easy access. I'm sure I will be adding more to it at some given time too as well? 

What is this a tease to?

Hello All,
 As I'm sure you have all been waiting about more news of any kind from my break from Albretson's this year. Now I know without a doubt I still have many more parts from when I went with them and these two

 on the Disney Wonder cruise to parts of the state known for Ice fishing and much more, called Alaska from in 2011. Still who are these two persons I am talking about your wondering right?, well maybe not so much if you go digging through certain entries of this very blog, and here's a quick way to find out who the them are look to "TO MY NEPHEW JOSHUA" for whom I'm bringing into the fold now are my mother Nancy Powers Watson & my step father Charles Ross Watson 

seen here in Vancouver Canada boarding  a local Canadian tour bus which we took all over the two cities of Canada that we visited this past May. One of the many things we did get to see in both Vancouver and Toronto was we caught the very rare stuff known as filming a scene for a movie or television show. 
The one I want to talk about is this one here  

,where I am standing next the poster in while waiting for a subway train. As to Why you'll find out the true answer by this weekend. Till then let me fill you in on some goodies, okay?, While for our three day stay in Vancouver we had chosen the Hamilton Inn hotel right in downtown, on our last night which  was Monday the sixth of May we had chosen to eat at the restaurant of the hotel next to where we were and I can't recall it's name right as I write this, but I think it was a Canadian owned company, when my folks and I saw this wreck at the street corner  

 and we were like "What the heck is gonna on?, did someone actually have a real accident...." at least I was saying this to myself, I'm not sure what my folks thoughts were. Then Chuck had spotted the camera crew and cast dressed for the scene 

and we watched as we ate our dinner of the shot for the final scene or at least close enough and dramatic sensing for the end of season two of the Canadian Sci-Fi series known as Continuum.  An here it was

. The only thing I can say about this is I wanna know more about this series, yet I can't because it's not shown in the states expect on the SYFY channel from what the scene coordinator said to me or Net-Flicks both of which I don't have but am now wishing that I do!

A long over due update from way back when?

Hello Travelers,
 I just got to thinking it's been a long enough time that I should share a about my past vacation in someway from this past May that I had left a wide gap of a whole week open for. So let's begin with what weekend it was which was May fourth, and as you know if your a sci-fi fan of any kind that day is dedicated to Star Wars fans the world over, more later on what i found in hotel room once we got to Vancouver. An even though we my folks and I were on a train on our way over to Vancouver Canada from after turning in our rental car  in Seattle at the airport and waiting from 
 












four thirty till six o'clock, in the train station for it coming from the state of Oregon so we could rest on it on the rest of the night.  Here are a couple of shots of the interior car that we rode in and 

while trying to read some of of The Hobbit I also happen to snap this grand sun set.
 

 









 
That thing over Chuck's head from the interior car image happens to be 

a map guide because the conductor  of the train knew that they had sleepy passengers on board and had no need for irate people mad because of lack of ZZZZ. We eventually pulled into Vancouver's train station at fifteen minutes till midnight, we then gathered our bags and went through customs to enter Canada, we then grab a taxi from the train station to our hotel which was a Hamilton Inn. We got up on the next morning and planned our day. It was at that time Star Wars fans are you ready for this that I found this 

in a little travel guide of the city of Vancouver, pretty cool huh? We had a quick little Continental breakfast then we took a tour of the whole city, we got on a trolley and saw some interesting parts of the city.  The tour started by going through Vancouver's "China Town" 
 










 

district
, then by the water front pier

, and by a couple of neat churches
 

then from there here are two parts of the city landscape that I can't find how to put into words other than beautiful

Finally  a little Americana 

thrown in for good measure. Then we went looking for a sun hat for me before we went and ate at this great little Tia/Curry  restaurant     

 which full of get Asian art of many kinds

 Mom felt a wee bit sick so she went back to the hotel which was just a couple of blocks away, then shortly a hour or so Chuck and I went to go souvenir shopping or at least idea wise 

anyway. On the way back to the hotel ourselves we saw this Sherman tank 

and this Cannon outside 

of the city's old military recruitment area. Believe you me there is a story you won't wanna miss the next time we come to visit Vancouver Canada for sure.....
