Zonestist start to influencing of Christmas of 2023!

Hello everyone,                                                                                                                                           Look I know that like everyone else, that trying to get ready for finding time to find ways to go and be inspired into shopping for one's love one's and friends during this busy time of season can always honestly be tough, with how life in general is flowing since the last time when families and friends were able to get together.... which was of course the second to last Thursday for this very year of last month in November with something known as Thanksgiving or as I usually go an call it Trukey Day. I also know that somewhere inside us as people do find that we know deep down, we have to figure something out to get us in the mind set of being full of gusto. For some people they use the time building up to get into Christmas inspirational spirits by listening to seasonal music or like for myself watch something very influential related to the meaning of this very love fill holiday.                                                                                                                                  So as soon as when the new year starts one of my many upcoming things is going to be going back to some television series of the past years since starting this ongoing crazy blog that is always finding new opportunities to share my thoughts and takes of when I was a child. Yet one that I will be talking about today is the oldest one that I found myself self writing a overall review of since this past February of a little bit of everything in the mix of a story, yes that is right I am of course talking about the Twilight Zone. And even though I know that it rather late in the game of finding inspiration for shopping for Christmas gifts as I mentioned just up above, I went and determined that the best answer for it is finding the Christmas spirit is through a as I call it a Zonestist stroll into that series most focused Christmas episodes. Now just so that you will all know that I won't spoil these very episodes with the greatest of my own choice of details for when I go and review them as part of the series as whole, this will be for this year of sixty four years of historical joy of for at this given time.                                                                                                  I  decided to start my Zonestist stroll with the very last episode of the Twilight Zone's third season titled "THE CHANGING OF THE GAURD"

, it was written by the series creator Rod Serling himself. In the story a teacher of literature comes to find out that after so many years of teaching about writing to at least six generations of young men that he finds dealing with retirement by seeing in his classroom several of his male students. Who in their own way with their words from their greatest potential which happens to be different for each other tell the teacher how his own perspective helped them in finding their way to dealing with encouraging themselves at certain points in their lives after leaving his classes. The message in this very episode was to show that everyone can really grow from what we learn during our lifetime regardless of where we end up at the end of each day...
The second Twilight Zone holiday themed episode that I choose to helping out with being inspired by was the second season one titled "FIVE CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN EXIT"
, it is the very episode where these people find themselves as unknowable type of identities of who they actually are? They all find themselves on a one quest beyond who they all are... they are trying to find a way out of whatever it is they are in? At one point they all hear a very loud noise but still know nothing of where it's coming from? At one point in the story the ballerina says "Perhaps WE ARE MAYBE THE UNWANTED?" Let me ask you all this,  at this time of year, do you have feelings of being unsure about if you are needed in someone's life? well the answer is YES YOU ARE WANTED by the most important people in this very world you are wanted by the children of any age. An your true friends and especially your family as well!
My final attempt at understanding to look beyond myself at this very time of year,  comes from viewing the best of the holiday themed episodes of the Twilight Zone which is also from the second season an is titled "THE NIGHT OF THE MEEK" where a man who par takes in the yearly hope for the belief of being a department store gift giver known as Santa Claus.
An when this empty man finds a bag in the oddset of places, he in his own understanding of giving is Chris Kringle as he is always meant to be.                                                                           When I think about Christmas every year and this is just me, when I see a child trying of any age from a newborn to however long our given existence is finding it within ourselves to provide a little or a lot of help to our communities is forever appreciated.  And I want more than anything to say trying is the best way to finding knowledge of kindness is what the whole meaning of giving of ourselves is best found in our hearts and mindset of helping other people everywhere. Now with my drive fulfilled I am going truly try my best on this upcoming Saturday to get hopeful in finding presents  for my dear loving family and good friends. Oh and before I forget about it,  I want to wish everyone who's reading this a very meaningful Merriest of holiday love!

Steve Ditko Visionaries My Take Overall!

Hello All,                                                                                                                                                        Sometimes, it will takes more than words of dialogue to propell any comic book forward...it also takes line work of a wooden tool called a pencil. It also takes a piece a art board that is eleven by seventeen in size, and of course an idea to be put to the art board. Today I am going to be talking about comic artist Steve Ditko who I am still trying to find the right words to talk of his passing from a few years ago. I want to share my thoughts on his body of career work from back in the days of when he was working for a magazine publisher known as Marvel comics. In the end of last month while at Adventures Underground, I had decided to include in my comic buying to include this very trade seen here

held by one of two of Steve's creative creations for the company known as Spider-Man!                                                                                                        Now let's break into this great bit of Steve's legendary work by letting you know that it has seventeen superhero tales of that era called the nineteen sixties to the early nineteen nineties, to be specific to 1992 the year after yours truly had graduated from high school... it also has ten non superhero tales in this as well that ran from December of nineteen sixty one through till April of nineteen sixty three. His main other character that he was famous for Co-Creating Stephen Strange better known as the master of black magic DR. STRANGE, which is also on the cover of this very trade.                                                                   A majority of these stories in here are written by the man who got a start at Marvel when they were still known as TIMELY Comics all the way back in nineteen thirty nine, when he was seventeen years old and his name was Stan Lee. He along with both Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby started a revolution in nineteen sixty one by changing the company by writing about superheroes....   Steve was working for Marvel when they were known as Altas comics in nineteen fifty six and because of sales of comics were nearly nothing  was laid off with all the other freelancer artists in the following year of nineteen fifty seven... then was rehired along with the other freelancer artists a few months later in the following year.                                                                                                                                               The one of Steve's works before his creation of Spider-Man in the final issue of Amazing Fantasy ongoing magazine cover dated August #15,1962, which was released in July... I want to talk about this book

seen here. As you can see the title of this isn't Amazing Fantasy at all, it is Amazing Adult Fantasy which was the ongoing title from as far back as November of nineteen sixty one.
In fact there is a huge connection in these anthology stories in all of Amazing Adult Fantasy/Amazing Fanstany that is well how can I not reveal a twist of fate endings to each one, very much like a certain television series running on the air at the time? Yes I am of course talking about the one and only Twilight Zone!  (Which is coming very soon for a review of the first twisted season....)                                                                                                       Here is the opening image of one those very stories from Amazing Adult Fantasy number seven that most comic readers may just put off as another simple comic tale...
called JOURNEY'S END this five page yarn has a simple crook that has definitely found a way to elude the law after he has done something very irredeemable and uses a time machine to get away from his problems. Only later in the story do we find out that he is returned to the persent and placed in Jail. BUT WHY YOUR ASKING? Before I reveal why he is there,  back in nineteen fifty nine the premiere season of the Twilight Zone in it's twenty sixth episode it had a very different type of take on a man known as Joe Caswell is pucked at the moment of a hanging in 1880 and brought to 1960 and kills his savior and how that ends different from Journey's End the comic story is another modern day crook takes a trip to that very hanging party in 1880! It seems in the comic tale all we know is that the crook in that tale beats a man who is the time machine inventor so badly that... well you try to piece the answer together? An give me your own answer ok! Stan Lee who wrote the story possibly in a interview said that when he was writing those anthology tales he put a O Henry type of ending on them... as to how truthful that was who really knows... Yet Steve's art style really makes me even now see that he loved the pencil work he laid out for the story of JOURNEY'S END!                                                                                         Before I get into the heart of why Ditko left his mark on the Marvel comics universe as a hero in a influential instrument of inspiration for upcoming artists I want to also say that he drew the core of the company's main characters at that time in the first Amazing Spider-Man annual dated with only the year of release

which is nineteen sixty four. That also coincided with the release of the regular issue of the amazing spider-man seventeen that had the conclusion of his second confrontation with the fan favorite mysterious villain known as the Green Goblin which kept appearing everywhere and fighting the hero to a standstill each time they encountered one another. Of all of the characters on this annual shown here Spider-Man had fought them at least once or twice from the first fifteen issues thus far.  Now as to some background of the man on the annual in the odd color of a purple outfit ( I say this because in his first appearance which is amazing Spider-Man number three his outfit was completely white in color, then his second appearance was in issue eleven and it was purple, but then the very next issue he was colored in color that has mostly been his color scheme ever since which is the same as Bruce Banner's monstrous alter ego), he is known as Doctor Octopus. When Stan Lee had a appearance of a hero that Spider-Man had yet to interact with he put a footnote of where you could find them in their own comic title throughout the story.                                                                                                                                          Whenever Ditko laid out his panels on his page and was creating the illustration within it he really put his heart into using his imagination a great example of this was his creation that I mentioned earlier known as Stephen Strange and here is a pair of panels

from one of the last Dr. Strange tales in this trade. The story was named THE END--AT LAST! in a comic known as STRANGE TALES 146 dated July,1966. In the story Dr. Strange's arch nemesis Dread Dormammu takes them both to the nether world of the entity known as Eternity. Dormammu tries to destroy both Strange and Eternity.... when Steve created the universe of Doctor Strange back in nineteen sixty three, he saw the scope as everything on an inter dementional plane of existence including at least one of the many characters in the weaving of it's very creation!                                                                  Of all of Steve's many times of working at Marvel his best that is included here is the three part arc of Spider-Man's saga is issues Amazing Spider-Man #31-33!
In this Amazing Spider-Man arc, it is definitely considered the best of the duo of Steve's best pencils and his own plotting that gives gravity to both the teenager named Peter Parker and his driven hero of Spider-Man on all levels of growth for the teenager that got bit by a dying radioactive arachnid way back in a title that wasn't even Spider-Man at all in name. Oh and the dialogue was written by a fellow named Stan Lee.... the other stories in this visionaries trade are after Ditko who had felt that he was no longer getting fair duty of creativity on his most interesting character of creation went and decided to leave because he also felt that he and Lee couldn't get along much anymore! It wasn't until fourteen years later in nineteen eighty, did Steve returned to work at least in a small way he at the time didn't have any connections of dealing with Stan and as far as I know he would only work for his former employment if that were certain.... the characters that Marvel had him work on at the time Daredevil the man without fear. He did pencils for issue 162, in the story Daredevil had a case of memory loss and becomes a fighter in the ring in one of Hells Kitchen boxing gyms. Then finds out who he is, after bringing down a corrupt fight promoter known as Mr. Hyle and his oversized cat named Ramona... that was in January of that year, then some months after that he was able to return to one other character that he drew back in the early days of nineteen sixty three known as the incredible Hulk, when he was working on this very title again, there was a little television series of the same name airing on the CBS network on Friday nights. He illustrated issue 249 titled "Jack Frost nipping at your soul!" I won't tell you of it's story, other than I really enjoyed it very much.                                                                                                                               Then eight years later (after working on not only his own character known as Mr A which he started in nineteen sixty seven at a independent comic publisher), in nineteen eighty eight, he co created with writer Tom Defalco Robert "Robbie" Baldwin known also as Speedball the masked Marvel. The first issue of a ten issue series, is seen in this special Steve Ditko trade, I am wondering if Steve would have tried to make Robbie Baldwin endowed with more than just drawing him, if Marvel would have allowed him to and explored stuff that he really wanted to with Peter Parker way back in the sixties? The final character that Steve made for Marvel was in Marvel Super-Heroes issue 8 released in January nineteen ninety two with the title "The coming of Squirrel Girl!"                                Here is what both Squirrel Girl and Speedball look like from their initial beginnings by the artist

who drafted them to fully compete line art. I would  be guessing around nineteen eighty eight for Robbie Baldwin to late October/November back in nineteen ninety one before the book was released in December of ninety one for Squirrel Girl! Besides seeing a youthful illustrator growing in his own skills with his ongoing projects he because of those aforementioned reasoning of why he left the BIG TWO creative comic companies he was essentially one of the first of mainstream creative to making his own triumphs with his own character way before the biggest movements in the early nineteen nineties when IMAGE COMICS imprint was founded. As to getting to the very title of this entry of my overall take on the Steve Ditko Marvel Visionaries I will say is definitely considered in my opinion a lot of great information about comic illustrating for a person who wants to study art that it is wanting to become a comic artist is a stepping stone of learning is worth a long look. My grade is an B plus, an for thrity six dollars I can honestly say that I am really looking forward to re reading it for getting even more fascinating history about Marvel comics and their characters very strong starts!

Happy Birthday to the Hulk that always is INCREDIBLE!

Hello comic and television fans alike,                                                                                                   Earlier tonight I went and put out my first entry for this month and I will get around eventually of getting out other ones leading up to this very Incredible lead into this particular actor's RAGING Special day.... Hey just what is it that I am talking about you maybe wondering about? Well maybe it is easy to tell of what I am discussing tonight with both the words of HULK and INCREDIBLE are related without any doubt to a certain comic book character that is owned by Marvel comics, which also owns and publishes my favorite character of theirs

the guy seen here, actually fighting the
incredible hulk... the one known as Spider-man. Travel with me to years before even I was born in time to today's date November ninth, with the four digits of the year being nineteen, fifty one. This person while growing up in elementary and even high school was shunned because he was born with huge percentage of his hearing lost, so to overcome that he built his confidence back by not only reading from time to time along with learning sign language. He was going and lifting weights to build up his muscles each day after doing his homework from his classes at school. In the fall of nineteen seventy six he got a chance to compete against a certain Australian body builder by the name of Arnold Schwarzenegger.                                    The Birthday boy and Schwarzenegger were both approached by a executive producer of an upcoming television series known as  THE INCREDIBLE HULK Kenneth Johnson. Who after a scene from said upcoming series in dalies with his young son David at the time had told his father that who was currently playing the title character just did not fit the role exactly. Schwarzenegger passed on the offer of the title role because he was getting some movie roles by this point and thought of his friend from the pumping Iron competition from a few months ago. The actor who lost the role was James Bond villain portrayer Richard Kiel who has one small frame in the project

seen here from the morning of the first Hulk
Out of Banner from when he was changing a tire the night before, and was walking through a forest!                                               This was the birthday boy's first acting job and when he was filming his first scene of the thing he was doing was set up to be was the creature was to be turning over his own car into a ravine (storywise) by the production crew to help him lift the automobile to finish the said scene. He was actually really tired of waiting for the scene to be properly set, so in his make up he truly lifted the actual vehicle himself!
Throughout the course of the whole series there is one episode during season three where television children host Fred Rogers visits the set of Universal studios and gets to see how the Birthday boy is made up as his character. I will have a post about that at some eventual point as well.  At some time during the writer strike of nineteen eighty the series was canceled before it had a proper ending. Yet the Birthday boy had made such an incredible impression to other studios and he got to play Hercules shortly after his first acting part was ended way to early.
He and his co-star Bill Bixby in the late nineteen eighties were absolutely able to advance the television series version of
The Incredible Hulk with three television made films. So who is the Birthday boy in name besides all of his television and film work he owns gyms in California... Lou Ferrigno is the age of the year I was born minus the nineteen before it which is Seventy-two and ready to be our raging creature called the incredible Hulk if someone would ask him about it rather nicely.... just joking of course or am I? Either way about it all, I as a fan of his Hulk television series know that making him angry is the last thing I would want to do!                                                                                               Happy Birthday Lou Ferrigno if you happen to ever find this when you're looking for Birthday gifts from your many fans!

A classic Halloween movie a day later....

Hello Everyone,                                                                                                                                           Yes it is officially just the first of the month that has the most meaningful holiday that we as humans seems to choose to find our own way of not being fairly faithful to, as we truly should be respectful of remembering.  I am of course talking about the very last Thursday of November in which we celebrate with our families and friends of being Thankful for what we have been generous to be having shared and helped others throughout the whole year till that moment of time. Rather if it was about being kind to someone that we have met through the year, or have seen hope from other people trying to find a way to encourage not only ourselves but their own existence against being dragged down to their lowest possible point... and finding out the inner strength of inspiration to helping everyone out. Yes of course I am talking about the holiday called Thanksgiving. I do hope that you will try to focus on finding generous rewarding contributions of sharing your yearly interest in conversations with your family and friends who you will be sharing that great Thursday of whatever your shared meal is or will be? The very reason why I am actually bringing this up is because this very November will of twenty,  twenty three will be ending on a Thursday.                                              Now onward and upward to the very title of this very entry of tonight's of a Halloween belated movie that is a classic no matter if it makes one think or even better yet makes one be full of great fear and or frighteness! In a way before I get into the heart of this film I have to say in every way possible the main character is supposedly the color of this very text. (Which will be brought up in of this movie review)....  I will also say before starting this review of what this classic film is that I have in one place or another talked or have had wallpaper images of this title character that are both very funny or very scary in the past especially when it was the month we just left called October... I saw tonight Frankenstein  the monument to both science gone completely wrong because of one of the two men seen here

are outside of a cemetery watching a funeral ceremony concluding with a burial of a unfortunate soul being placed freshly into the ground. After the grave digger walks away they just dig up the body anyway! Then we get to know that the one in the background of the picture is a doctor and he has been trying find body parts from the recently past souls of dead people to do something with them? Yet we are at same time introduced to the doctor's only achilles heel is a young woman named Elizabeth who wants to marry him and his name is Henry Frankenstein. Henry did at one point in his life work with the greatest medical school that the small village the two of them are living in. BUT at some point, let his work consume his own train of thought to drive his own perspective of being good or dangerously deranged take over his own saintanty.                                                                     The man pressed against the oversized fence gate ( because of Henry Frankenstein seemingly telling him to be quiet is his assistance Fritz), of the entrance of the cemetery... who helps Henry in finding those corpses for his driven dream of bringing something from the dead back to life. One of the things that Fritz errors in is that when the two are looking for a fresh body with a normal brain he accidentally kills the hanging body by cutting it off of a gollow that has exactly what Henry is wanting a perfect sample of a regular human brain by breaking the neck... which makes the brain useless...                                                                       Henry later invites his mentor Doctor Waldman  and his soon to be finance Elizabeth to witness his own triumph of bringing a bulit body to life. Which is seen here!

He and Fritz send the lab table to the top of his watch tower's open roof... and exposes the corpse to the power of flowing through the rain clouds and then is pulled back to the lab. And Henry views with his own eyes

that he had succeeded in being absolutely insanely intelligence. It is after bringing his monster to life he tries to teach it to be more than just a mindless being yet Henry doesn't know that the brain he used was an abnormal one....                                                                              The monster eventually finds his way out of the lab and meets a little girl named Maria at a river where she is making boat flowers and she teaches the monster how to do

it as well. Eventually the  monster with still very little understanding of what they are doing at all tries to see if Maria is like a floating boat. Then all of the villagers go after the monster and put an end to what it had done. Yet the film doesn't end there and I will offer you as chance to explore how this scary classic on a streaming service or maybe even YouTube if you're interested!
As  to my overall thoughts on what I think of the film are right here, for myself each time when as I was growing up I would always be finding myself completely waking up at some point in the film and not knowing what it was that I had missed. It sure wasn't because I was afraid of the character... in fact the only scary character that had me out of my seat or scared no matter what was Witches and when I was younger for the longest time I could never watch the Wizard of Oz film because of yes of course the Wicked witch of the west,
even though I did see the one Mister Rogers neighborhood show with the actress who played the Wicked witch named Margaret Hamilton. It took me years still even after seeing that very episode before I ever was brave enough to watch it all the way through! Sorry for the quick sidebar of what did frightened me in the way of Halloween characters, but I really had to put it in this one since I am talking about movies in a way that celebrate the candy giving away day of the year. The actual story of Frankenstein at the point of when this film was made was already one hundred and thirteen years old. The film was directed by James Whale, and had a play made about the monster a few years before the movie was released in nineteen twenty seven, when the movie was released in nineteen thirty one. Many of the people who were in this are in other classical monster movies that are under the Universeral Studios production. Some examples of these crossovers are the young man who played Fritz ( Dwight Frye), played Renfield, in Dracula which was released the same year as Frankenstein. He was in The Invisible Man as a newspaper reporter (1933), he was various other characters in four other Frankenstein films. Which were made from (1935-1943). The young girl who was Little Maria (Marilyn Harris),  was also in Frankenstein again in it's sequel Bride of Frankenstein in (1935) but was uncredited in it. Marilyn was seven years old when she played Maria in 1933, she died on December first, of nineteen, ninety nine... Now onto the man who portrayed the MONSTER of this film,
Boris Karloff was born for real on November twenty third, eightee hundred and eighty seven. He was the MONSTER twice throughout the Frankenstein films (nineteen thirty one, through nineteen forty eight). Besides playing good ol Frankie, he also was the Imhotep a high priest of ancient Egypt in nineteen thirty two's THE MUMMY. He was the host of the television series "THRILLER " which was originally run from September thirteenth,  nineteen, sixty through till April thirteenth,  nineteen sixty two, it was an anthology series based on horror theme stories. At some eventual point I may do a overall review of that series, but the last big thing Karloff did the most people know about was that he was both the narrator and voice of the Grinch in Dr Seuss' "How the Grinch stole Christmas" animated special, which was made in nineteen sixty six.                             Is there anything that I maybe have forgotten for a good review of Frankenstein from nineteen, thrity one I am sure that yes there is? But I will admit that I am really okay with that because I know that I can find more interesting notes on each viewing. Now before I truly will leave you to your evening of late night fun for the first of November of twenty,  twenty three I want to share with everyone my current image from when I open my cell phone was this  `
which is from my vacation that I had earlier this past summer with my folks when we took a cruise from California to Vancouver Canada. This piece of art was on the aft section of the eleventh deck of the ship. As well when we were finding in Vancouver itself I have had this
on my phone when I have been opening my phone to accessing my main stuff of doing my outings on the internet.  Here I am by the Gastown steam clock in downtown Vancouver, Canada. Then also since late May I have had this as my ENERGIZING wallpaper
of the classic brother and sister Adam and Adora the twins of King Randor and his wife Marlena... raising their swords of destiny and are here their super powered selves HE-MAN and SHE-RA with glittering prismatic background was on my tablet when I was opening it,since the end of May. Then as well when I was looking at my tablet's main screen I was devouring a whole other take of sword holders seen here

of  the Hero HE-MAN and his adversity Skeletor are holding aloft their power swords at each stronghold in classic FILMATION the animation company that made the cartoon series based on the Masters of the universe toyline, which was start in nineteen eighty one officially. Yes if you are wondering I will be adding a full review of each episode of both HE-MAN and SHE-RA animated series to my list of upcoming events that will be available here fairly soon....
Before I give you my full grade of the Frankenstein movie that is over ninety years old and I will let you find out on your own of how old it actually is, I have to remember to at the same time that I am changing out my plates on both my tablet and on my phone I will be changing the background of this
very site, since the month of May of twenty, twenty three has a particular big back story which I am still working on in my set of ideas... but I can honestly say DO WE UNDERSTAND OUR relationship WITH OUR DEAR EARTH! My overall grade for the original Frankenstein film is A +!

Whatever am I planning for National Batman day this year?

Hello everyone,                                                                                                                                            So without any doubt I know that earlier today I shared about my adventure of going to Adventures Underground to see what I could find there in the way of celebrating the second oldest comic book superhero ever. Yes of course there were comics even before April eighteenth, nineteen thirty eight known as Action Comics #1, with a cover date of June nineteen thirty eight an features the work of Jerry Siegel and Joseph Shuster who had created a hero by the name of Superman.
The publisher of this comic book at that time was known as National Allied Publications... they like the other main major comic company known as Marvel had other names than what they are called today which is Decetevice Comics. The company was started in nineteen thirty five with their founder Major Malcolm Wheeler Nicholson,  which was very much like (Timely Comics), Marvel's first known name founder Martin Goodman.  At one point before they were using the name of Decetevice Comics or they had a comic titled Decetevice Comics, they called the publishing company Decetevice Comics as far back as nineteen thirty seven. As to when the company started publishing the title of Decetevice Comics itself was in either November or December of thirty seven... yet it wasn't until two years later did again the company had it's second biggest property in comic form known as the Batman who was created by writer Bill Finger and illustrator Bob Kane in issue Decetevice Comics issue

seen here. The title of the first Batman story is "The case of the Chemical Syndicate".                                                            Earlier today on Facebook I had talked about it being National Batman day on my main page there with this image

that I took this morning while watching a couple of episodes of the classic Superman series called Adventures of Superman. I did eventually end up heading over to my local comic book store of Adventures Underground, I saw besides it being National Batman day the store was having a great sale outside of the store with not only a lot of newer comics that they had an overabundance of but also some used novels of all kinds of genres, as well they had DVDs and Blu-ray movies in that sale. Yet I can't say that I didn't at least take a little peek at it all before going inside the actual store.  While on the bus ride over there even though I haven't done it since Waaaay back this last May, I went and changed my wallpaper on my phone for today in honor of Batman day is by Spawn creator from Image comics Batman story known as Batman Year Two, it was published in Decetevice Comics issues # 575 - #578 in June of nineteen eighty seven to October nineteen eighty seven,  back in that very same year that artist was working on #576-#578 his future character at Marvel comics gets Married in Amazing Spider-Man annual # 21. Do you know what that artist name is yet? Well it is okay if you don't and that is alright, but here is what I have on my phone at the moment
is the last page of the four part arc of Batman Year Two with "Bats" (one of his many nicknames), swinging on one of his grapple bat ropes through the upper part of his city that he protects known as Gotham!  Yet I still haven't decided on my topic in detail of writing completely from the end of the month of MAY/JUNE of twenty twenty three... but it will be coming around at some eventual point!                                                         Before I end my over view  of how National Batman day went for me, I want to not only show you what I got in my Batman given loot in the way of a haul, I want to let you  know  that all but  the Batman/Superman trade up above will be having their own reviews coming very soon. As to what was in my mentioned haul from today was this.

Two copies of The Amazing Spider-Man volume 6 (2018 to current) #33/927 the higher number on the right is the uninterrupted numbering since the title began in nineteen sixty three, the current issue of Moonlight #27,  The Captivating Adventures of Maskerade #7, What If Ms Marvel #1, then The Batman who laughs trade, Batman Arkham Talia Al Ghul trade, the Batman & The Joker The Deadly Duo the deluxe edition hardcover, a free Batman day edition of issue 1 of that mentioned hardcover, and a Batman day free comic of the prelude Batman/Catwoman the Gotham war, which is the current story going on. Then finally off on the far left by the amazing spider-man comic is a novel called Empty souls living beyond your grave,  I went and talked to the author Juanita R. Vedder  about why she wrote the book and felt very humbled of our conversation. As to what else I am doing for Batman day is probably will be watching one of the many Batman movies that I have or watching the Adam West Batman series but who really knows with how late it currently is... Happy National Batman day to you all and enjoy your way of Bruce Wayne's day too...

Hello All,                                                                                                                                                          As of yet I don't happen to have a very comfortable or confident title for today's very entry, which is very much greatly understandable since today is really reflected of great sadness of what happened in New York. Which was a very venturous and violent attempt to inspire fear throughout a whole country that cherishes freedom for all of it's many citizens.... of ALL diversities of choosing what each of us likes to do within reasonable understandings. The event that had happen over twenty two years ago was of two airplanes that were FORCED by a group of people calling themselves Al Qaeda took control of those planes flew them with their hostages into the two towers known

as the twin towers or as the world Trade center.                                            All of these many years later it still fills my soul with genuine sadness for everyone who did perished from all of the passengers of both planes also I deep down have emotions towards the terrorists because even though what they were doing was a true introduction of real EVIL on American soil... because they like every other person on the planes were simply humans. Beside that as well in the end of that horrible set of actions to which they wound up with nothing for their existence, even if by their train of thoughtfulness was assuming that they would meet their deity.                                                          In the past when I have written about September 11th, 2001 I have reflected on the helpers by remembering the firefighters and police officers through a series that I grew up on when I was very young about two paramedics known as Roy Desoto and Johnny Gage in the nineteen seventies,  I watched it in it's first go around of repeated syndication.... here are the two them showing

how much that they care by helping someone's whom is injured! The series is known as EMERGENCY! Maybe soon after this I will be reviewing that whole series since I have it in a collective edition on DVD. Yet with all that said of helping other people everywhere there's  that first brain teaser from a few years ago....                                                                            I want to this September 11th of twenty, twenty three want talk about a certain comic trade that I picked up back at the end of this past July from at Barnes and Nobles. Still before we delve into  the review of this very trade seen here
in my pal Spider-Man's hands is that besides there is without any doubt more than just the disheartening events of September 11th of two thousand and one of why I went and picked up POST AMERICANA which is published by IMAGE COMICS imprint. The story and illustrations of POST AMERICANA is by comic artist Steve Skroce and also comic artist Dave Stewart is the colorist of the story. Both men worked for years for both Decetevice Comics and Marvel Comics and their characters at least a few decades ago known as the nineteen nineties...
This trade consists of seven issues for the whole story and in it, it has both a post apocalyptic science fiction political intrigue and some unknowable time within the future.  Only the super elite rich are who run what is left of whatever is left of the government and the those not fortuitous to have money have become completely free of everyday morals an decide to be cannibals. Then there are some groups of people who are trying to get back to normality who are called by the current president of America are terrorists and are to be captured at all cost.  Before I go on even more so with this summary so far, it seems to be far fecthed look at what the unknowns of the past few years have brought upon us as a species? Do we or don't we have more distrustfulness on somethings more than we should?, I haven't expressed any feelings/thoughts on how I believe that fear has changed us from understanding that yes we do still need to certainly challenge ourselves as humans everyday, and yes it's always fascinating how we as humans come to our unique approach to answering those struggling questions of  which we in our judgements are right on of choosing our options of world wide views.                                   Back to the ongoing review of the POST AMERICANA trade with it having a very interesting setup of two men who were once prisoners have turn to being part of an unknown terrorist group and they are attacking a facility known as the Bubble. They are known as Dom and Mike and they in part succeeded getting an military sleath jet.
....And come to find out that while stealing it something has gone wrong with the guidance systems forcing them to do the unthinkable of landing in one of the country's most dangerous wastelands areas.
They find in this area where they have ended up that cannibals are whom reside here and that they love creativity from the past. When one of these two men are trying to find a way to convince their captors that he wants to help them by sharing information with one of their leaders he finds out more than he could be hoping for?                                   There is more to this story than just interweaving of who's plotical right over each other, it's also has one thing that all comics should have but very little of it is really shown in most comics from both Decetevice and Marvel comics of recently that in the end comes from this panel here....

from a character known as Eggbert as he explains of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson presidency of in sometime of the 21st century to his crazed master Marcy whose got her own plans for the world. Basically with in a story of such seriousness you get a moment to bust a gut with a small smile and of course a huge laugh. It has a love story in it as well, between a mother and a daughter.                                                                                                              The most interesting thing about this story was that Skroce came up with it during the time of Covid-19 when for a long period of time if the series were published by Detective or Marvel it would not see potential print. The reasoning behind that was the entire editorial department board of both companies of mainstream comics had said from late February of twenty, twenty till they were ready that everyone who was working on a title for them was to stop their creative juices and not write, ink, or even draw a single page of any kind till the editorial department was ready to start receiving new work from any freelance artists. Which if I am remembering right wasn't until summer time of Twenty, Twenty two before they started receiving work again! Besides that the series wouldn't have also seen print because not only does it show a negative effect on how the government in the story is in disarray of itself,  Steve Skroce had there be enough cursing that it would have to be published by a strong independent publisher who were respectful of their incoming series or ideas of series to be of how that creative person was viewing the onset of current culture of their own world during the craziness of extreme conditions during the pandemic. Overall I there are two very important things that I really have to say before giving this trade a grade of how much I loved or liked it as a whole. Those two things are one don't ever think that I want you to stop living your own life however you see that it works for you. Number two concerning your plotical decision-making continue to be the best part of sharing what YOUR BELIEFS ARE WHEN YOU VOTE, AND EFFECTIVELY YOU JUST MATTER NO MATTER WHAT IS ALBOUSTULELY GOING ON IN OUR WORLD.  My grade for POST AMERICANA is a solid A MINUS!

A Star Trek novel review...

Hello Science Fiction lovers and STAR TREK fans alike,                                                                     Earlier this very morning I got done with a novel that I have had since summer time of Twenty Fourteen. There happens to be a very different version of the paperback one of this very book, but I was really lucky to have gotten a hardcover edition when I got it and here's what the paperback copy looks like.

As you can see it has a screen shot of the original Enterprise that would fly by in the opening of the original series credits.  Here's what my version of the hard cover looks like
don't worry seriously Spidey didn't get his webbing all over my copy,  in fact while I was devouring it's words I kept the paper cover off of the book so of course it absolutely would not get damaged at all... in fact when I do read a book with it being hard cover I DO leave the paper cover at home so it doesn't get to damaged while I am also reading it.  The artist for the hard cover is acclaimed fanstany illustratior Boris Vallejo.  The author of this Star Trek novel is Vonda n McIntyre who also wrote the Star Trek novel the entropy effect, along with  the novelization of Star Trek The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek The Serach for Spock, and of course the one with "There be whales here, Admiral..." The Voyage Home, which were novelizations of the original Star Trek films of the nineteen eighties, way before she wrote this one.
Most people who read any Star Trek novels will tell you that they don't have a very great track record of being as gracious as any of the actual filmed stuff rather it being of the television series or of the movies, but I believe that if you are a understanding fan of any fandom you have the best chance of being a greatly entertained by what YOU WANT to do in full filling your value of learning to enrich your mind is essential up to YOU.                   I will do my kindness of being completely fair with this very review of The First Adventure. Before I really get into this review I thought you'd all like to know that I have recently got the chance to meet writer Patricia Briggs at my local comic store known as Adventures Underground, she happens to write about fantasy her series that I have is her Mercy Thompson series. In my brief few minutes of chatting with her, she said mistakes made in any hard cover edition of a book is at most times fixed when the publisher puts it into the paperback edition. Yet sometimes editorial mistakes are left in a paperback copy without being caught. Patricia also said that a few of her fans have asked at the time of meeting her in person if she would make an/a correction in their own hard cover copy an she is always more than happy to. Now back to the most interesting review of Star Trek The First Adventure.....
In this story the actual pinpoint isn't defined at all, so if it were to be chronologically recorded as a captain's log it would be listed as Stardate: unknown.  James Kirk has just been promoted to the rank of captain and is ready to relieve the exiting captain Christopher Pike who has served on the United fredreation starship Enterprise whose main crew has known Pike for a little while, with the exception of a certain Vulcan named Spock. Who has served with Pike for eleven years, Chris happens to have received a promotion to commodore. There is also a renegade Klingon named Koronin in part of space known as the Arcturan system,  she steals the latest space vessel of her own race for her own reasons....                                                                                                                               Throughout this story that McIntyre has written she builds very meaningful strengths for her female characters like Uhura and Janice Rand of the Enterprise crew themselves,  and also has a deeper richment for her own created females including Koronin. Her understanding of all of the male characters are very unknowable even if you do already know them. Here are two fine examples of her James Kirk and Leonard McCoy that are completely not part of cannon lore of Star Trek. For Kirk his fear of facing the unwinnable scenario here isn't in a Starfleet academy entrance test called the Kobayashi Maru scenario but in a event called the disaster of Ghioghe (NC), which also involved his friend Gary Mitchell whom we see in the episode titled "Where No Man Has Gone Before"(C). It is never mentioned if Ghioghe were meant to be in cannon but I will let it be passable I guess for now anyway. As for what McIntyre did to McCoy when we first see him on vacation isn't wrong but what is scary is he here is okay with using the Transport to beam back on board the Enterprise, is NOT McCoy.                                                                        Before I reveal my rating on the story as a whole, I want to say that there is one Star Trek character in here that makes sense that he is use if not at all, but is on that hard cover copy of the novel. Now for my rating of Star Trek Enterprise The First Adventure gets  a rating of C+.

Our venture so far...

Hello everyone,                                                                                                                                           My folks and I are now in Portland, Oregon on the first leg of my vacation time with them for this very year.  We actually started officially yesterday of getting ready to leave from Richland after doing small amount of thoughtful shopping and having my mother be able to spend some bonding time with my brother Michael. My step dad and I were headed back from Walmart when I will admit that I forgot my key to my front door, so he and I headed to my work place of Safeway and grabbed so breakfast stuff for this morning for when we got on the Amtrak train,  while at Safeway I had them break my lock on my locker to get my spare house key.  Then I threw away the keys to that old lock after I let us in, and returned my spare key to my work locker with a new lock on it. Then as moms do mine helped me pack my suit case for our venturous outing of fun. After that we ate dinner at Subway in Pasco before turning in their car rental and called our hotel for a pick up because of it being overly windy last night.                                                                    When got ready to catch our train here to Portland I got a few pics at the Pasco train station. One my mom and one of a selfle of myself by the station's clock. Once we got on our Amtrak train we had a nice ride through Washington state, I went and got a few shots of us on the train before we began. Also a few near McNeely damn area and a few windmills before entering Vancouver Washington which I will admit I thought we were going for a while,  apparently not though. As soon as we got to our hotel the courtyard Marriott on fifth Avenue and oak street in Portland I realized someone named me had made a very great mistake? What's the you are thinking and of course wanting to know of right? Well it turns out that when we were picking up our suitcases I had happen to have picked up one that was with my folks two thinking of course that it must be mine since it's with ours... it had the other owner's name on a bright yellow tag on it, so all three of us walked back to the Union train station and found out that they had been trying to contact us for the last forty minutes or so.                                                                               With my own suitcase now we caught a metro rail train that has this

as it's all day boarding pass. We went a couple of blocks up from the train station to Oak and 5th and walked to our hotel which was on that very block.                                                       After that since still had a lot daylight left we went to go see what was around the whole area since we haven't been here since twenty twelve. We were very heavily saddened and also hurt to see almost a tent and a homeless people everywhere.  We came to the ongoing conclusion that something had happen to people of Portland, Oregon... and not just because of the Covid-19 Pandemic either? It's likely for whatever reason all of their drive has been shattered in spite of their everyday experiences are, these people have lost their attention to continually hope at least it's the only accessible maybe answer that I saw as well as my folks with our own eyes.  It very much reminded me of the reflection of the Star Trek Deep Space Nine two parter in season three titled "PAST TENSE". Here's a pic

  from one
of the two episodes of that name. It is pretty close to what we had seen as I said before except for it being in the state of Oregon instead of California. Then we went an realized that with the way the weather is here in Portland, Oregon overcast and windy that I went an forgot to grab one of my hoodies to keeping myself warm during times of besides it being to cool outside in California or even on the the rest of our times on the train before we come back to home in Richland, Washington.  So took the free all day transit to Lloyd's center and walked to Ross and found nothing,  then we went a few window displays of Forever 21 trying to find the way into the  store, we finally did figure out where it was and we took the elevator to the second floor and started looking around on the rack of discounted men hoodies and shirts.  It was then when Chuck found this really cool underground hoodie and said " I bet that they will be wondering at Adventures Underground where you got this?", I of course tried it on an it fits me perfectly.  And I said " I am sure that it's not from them but it very cool in its design and they might be wanting one." And here's

what it looks like. I'm pretty sure that since we have one more full day here in Portland,  we will be doing some very important searching of a certain bookstore?, that is if it is still around as well...                                                                                                                          Of course before I ever forget that today's the first day of May,  I have to remember that each month I go and show you all my monthly wallpapers for when I go and trun on my tablet and phone that these are them from my tablet.  When I was opening it through out the month of April twenty, twenty three I was seeing this
A gif of K.I.T.T. from the nineteen eighties television series known as
KNIGHT RIDER that I found on the Pinrest website. The only thing it didn't do was go and move like how we are seeing it right now on my opening lock screen. Then as with keeping with the eighties and Manchines that were even bigger than a artificial intelligence car a few years earlier were the war between robots that were always in

well disguise known as Autobots and Deceptions here's what was on my main screen when I got pass my locked screen. The leaders of both factions with their insignias glowing behind them. I call it "Gen one TRANSFORMERS LEADERS Splitscreen". Then since I  am talking about my vacation of this  year, I had this from a couple vacations ago was this mural
from Newport Oregon on my phone's lockscreen. An since last month had Easter in it for the month of April I had this set of pinjias seen here

of my favorite comic character Spider-Man that I found at Walmart. That was from back in May of twenty, twenty two. As you also know I have to celebrate each new month with a new background plate of the site from the pervious one to and here's the latest one of

April, twenty, twenty three. So for sure you all know that my yearly six part history of "How WE KNOW of our universal understanding of our dear loving planet called EARTH. I do hope that if you are on vacation right now, that you are finding time to relax and get some much needed rest before your everyday life returns to working normally at wherever you do work?
