Finally I have it!

Hello  readers,                                                                                                                                                I  am glad to say it, it has taken me since late May of this year of when I was talking about the upside downwards ness that the whole world has been taking since the pandemic called Covid-19 has been affecting everyone. I just wanted you all to know that your good friend Matt is back on the path of writing again because I had thought for some reason or other since we had been starting our forum of the lockdown where I live I was having all kinds of problems with accessing my blog which as far as I can say seemed to lock me out because of well many reasons were floating around in my brain mostly that I had in some horrorible way committed a crime. When really it just wasn't that at all... it turns out that I just had been full of great crazy ideas of anything and everything of why I was locked out.                                                                                                                   I  happened to have a lot of interesting new things planned coming along that will be keeping me want to never go and decide to get lost of being away from being able to writing again. In fact right now as I am writing this I happened to be listening to one of the many Star Blazers albums of late that I have been finding on YouTube of late. The track that's playing now is called "Great Yamato Theme". One thing that I will promise you all is I won't have this long of a locking down for writing again... Oh and hopefully if you have family or friends who are deeply affected by the pandemic more than you are please remember your thoughts of hope and helping other people everywhere is the most important and inspiring thing your able to share by doing the best you can by becoming stronger in loving your follow human beings and just so that I don't forget have yourself a wonderful upcoming holiday however you are celebrating it.

Why can't WE ALL be richer for humanity as a whole!

Hey There World,                                                                                                                                                Phew, Oh my God, can anyone anywhere please tell me why is it that we as humans we have the greatest capacity for being the best that we can be, yet at the same moment as much as we keep trying to be understandably honest with being humble with our family and friends.... why are we so far away from understanding that we no matter what our outsides are like by this I DO MEAN OUR FLESH THAT IS COVERING OUR BONES. As humans we all have choices to helping enrichment for all of our souls rather we know how that comes into existence is by always learning and understanding that by how we communicate how we are taught is absolutely necessary in our every day lives.  I know that it seems like that I just really repeated my own question but remember this, we are always learning by questioning what it is when we learn. So here is a question of great concern about what is happening in our country and world related to what's happening in our every day lives....                                                                                                                                                                 We all know that because of an unknown flu strain called the Coronavirus every government all over the planet are choosing to keep their citizens in their homes to stop the spread of that flu strain right, so here is my initial quizzical mind at work here... When has the human race ever let something of that mysteriousness that we can not even see it, scare us into being afraid of living our every day lives?, Is it right for us as humans to be completely alone when we are facing and fighting an unknown problematic set of situations?, Should we be listening to the news all of the time with a one sided view on just negatively outcome of the subject matter, whatever the topic is?                                                   These are just a few set of questions going through my mind each and every day when I am being isolating at my home after work. Here are some ways the news media has spun the topics of the Coronavirus a wee bit much... The very history of this given strain of this very virus thought of starting out in China as subjectively being a way to controlling their overall population problem in a very small area. This was back in early January of this year as best that I can recall. As it spread to other countries there were even more stranger links to China's ways of it's start but by very different narratives, such as it came from what the population was consuming too. As the virus started moving away from China and into other countries such as France and was affecting people it was now considered an outbreak of enormous size and propulsions. When it had hit United States shores every news media and parts of local government went into Control mode!                                                                     I'm sure that you all know that when there is anything new in the world, we as humans know that at some given time that rather we want to know of what that new impact is we shall encounter it with mostly an opened heart and an opened mind...yet as I just went and mentioned it seems as if the governments of the world have found a way to keep us from having our own set of hopes and choices of living our daily lives! Is this right for the world to be held to one rule of no now because we are saying it you can't have your right to decide what you do is safe? No matter of how I am trying to phrase it seems ONE SIDED DOESN"T IT? Here is a even more fascinating question to throw out there, even more so than should the people live off of the government entirely don't you love to make up your own decisions of what YOU WANT TO DO weather you have a choice to work where you like or be creative as you like? When the matter of this pandemic is over how many people will truly have died from the virus? How many people will have decided to be caught up in their state of sadness of not being able to live life to it's fullest that they will be many suicides because someone who thinks they are bigger is pushing the person with the depression into greater wows of fear than their mental state is allowed to see? Does all of this have to do with HATE for one person if so, we all are showing how much of real limited we are as a growing society of living and breathing of the God we believe in!                                                                                                                                                     I know that I have talked about HATE before from other peoples way of seeing and understanding the greatest evil we have on our precious blue planet and of course I have talked about my feelings on the sickening yet sadden subject at time too. You also know that as of a few years ago that I have started trying to come up with acronyms for already existing words. I STILL REMEMBER MY FIRST ONE way back in the winter time of twenty seventeen, it was with the word H.O.P.E. here was what I did with it being so close to Christmas at the time I hadn't started my gift buying just yet so I got to thinking if I used my noggin for other ideas maybe just maybe shopping would come a whole lot easier that year. So I choose HOPE since it was fitting any which way because it would help me with getting on with buying my gifts in the long run so I hadn't realized it but there was my word for H in the word of Hope, Helping. Then I got to thinking about the letter O what would work in a defining way of extending it... I thought of the both the characters from the second season of the television series known as "LOST" and again about the season of the year we were in... it came to me then the letter O came to me Others or rather Other, then for the letter P I already knew what I was using without a second thought at all P was going to be for People. And finally the letter E was rather easy as well I was thinking of places I had already been on vacations with my folks also I was for some reason thinking of the word Every as well, so I put Every as the start of the longer wording of HOPE and then it hit me as snow is white a little pun there but I was using the color of snow to finding the word Where. Then I had it and a huge inner smile was both on my lips and in my soul I knew the extending acronym for H.O.P.E. to being Helping Other People Everywhere... Sorry for the back history there but I felt that I needed to for myself to being thinking about the word H.A.T.E. as an acronym. Now while I'm bringing this up just so you all know before I get to far astray  the second half of today's entry is gonna drive deeper cuts into even more current topics of late, so if you want to stop reading as of right now I won't mind but remember you have been warned!                                                                                                                                                         Recently besides the topic of the Coronavirus being a matter of the meaning of everyone's world falling apart, there is also the spread of fear for our current way of right or wrong in how do we as humans respect and love one another. For the cop who broke the air pathway of George Floyd a man who happen to of been two years younger than me, by the cop's knee on his neck for eight minutes was an extreme view of the acronym of the word H.A.T.E. as I was talking about just above here. For me Matt I believe the extended word of H.A.T.E. is simply broken into at least two words apiece for it's true definition which is this Having/Hitting. Another/Attacking. Targeting/Threatening. Exiling/Eliminating a living breathing thing or person is always been taught to each child of the planet we share as home. Yet no matter where you look throughout history there has in someway or other been someone having these said feelings or emotions which leads to people of any outer bone color wanting to protect their rights and thinking by gathering others who share their learned ideals to cerate a group to fight what they most fear? Now I'm sure you are all wondering WHY I ended that last  wording of sentence structing with a given question mark, well the reason is very interesting to say in the least.                                                                                                     Everyone who is made up of the building blocks of life known as DNA has the ability to grow and be an intellectual smart person in their existence in the journey called life. I know that I keep coming back to it all of the time about the most important stance of understanding what the essence of growing is in my blogs that I write. I will admit that I'm not always super smart about everything in my everyday life, but I do know that ONE VERY IMPORTAT THING ABOUT LIVING OUR JOURNEIES OF LIFE. WE ARE ALL CAPABLE OF CHANGING INTO A BETTER PLACE YOUR NAME HERE, for getting past our VERY OWN FEARS WHATEVER THEY ARE! WE HAVE TO BE WANTING TO STEP INTO ACCPETING CHANGE TO HOW TO GROW IN A MORE HUMBLING  PERSON....Can you be one, by being willing to give up what you have been taught and wanting to learn more or anew to be a moral and thoughtful encompassing YOU as a human being.                                                                                                                                                    To say have I hit everything here in this very entry of what I meant about the top two most overdriving topics of late concerning our everyday living of life? YES for as much as I can put into them, hoping to be stepping stones to a better understanding of if not the said perfect solutions/Answers for now maybe even something I can look back on  when things are chaos driven again, which we ALL know there is ALWAYS something unknowingly waiting in the winds of change in our experiencing our daily trails of life. NO because I know with everyday something new arises to give us poor humans another interesting set of choices to deal with. But with a new name to make it seem even more darker and uglier than what we had just experienced.... I'm sure to write about HOT and COLD TOPICS of our lives, when I know that I Matt too need said reassuring of again Helping Other People EVEYWHERE!   

Finally I have a new baby to talk about.....(no it's not what you are thinking?)

Hello comic lovers of all ages,                                                                                     If you're a regular visitor to this very blog you know that besides everyday life that I the creator of "Day life of the Matt", try to engage my readers with the hopeful need to learn the best out of our journey of existence and again I am hopeful that by the end of this very entry that I as much as you can have an opportunity to spread something very encouraging worthy to be read by you who want enriching enrichment of a very interesting subject that speaks of ways to learning about new ventures gradually gained for your mind. Today I want to talk about a comic novel that I have ordered from a comic company that calls itself Comicsgate. I know that I have said that most comics of mainstream ones from Detective, Image, Marvel and other smaller publishers have for the time being because of the world wide pandemic known as Covid-19 has put all of the world's current hope for innovation on hold because right now we don't understand it's beginnings other than it being something that is new to our every day lives. Yet the distribution of all mainstream comics has been put on hold because Diamond the ordering warehouse has put a hold on shipping all comics to comic shops throughout the United states.                                                     Comicsgate is a company that like IMAGE lets creators own their creative creations. The main one that I can tell you that I have become very interested in is Ethan Van Sciver's character called "CYBERFROG" seen here 

 and like Todd McFarlane, Van Sciver started Cyberfrog very early in his career like Spawn for McFarlane when both started drawing for comics before either made it big in mainstream comics for either DC comics or Marvel comics respectively. The only other Van Sciver work that I have is his work with Geoff Johns called "FLASH REBIRTH", which he did the art for. Back in twenty eighteen I had found out on YouTube that Ethan was restarting his career starting character with a crowd funding campaign called Cyberfrog Bloodhoney. I found myself wanting to follow the campaign even though I didn't want to participate in being a backer for getting it.                                                                                   When earlier this year in January, I saw the reviews of Cyberfrog Bloodhoney on YouTube I knew that from his current Cyberfrog titled book that I wanted to back it and so I did at it's highest tier. As I have said before that the main reason I put comic collecting on true hold is because of a forced story by Marvel comics editor in chief Joe Quesada called One More Day for the Peter Parker character of Spider-man lore. Yet all in all, I could not give up on the Marvel comics because of a movie that was called IORNMAN that kept me going with my loving addiction of collecting  and at the same time I expanded out into looking beyond Marvel comics as well and went into Detective comics and even other independent publications too.                                                So since I have been following Ethan on his YouTube channel I have found myself backing a few more comics from Comicsgate the one that I want to talk about here is seen here 

 called as you can see VESTIGE, which I originally ordered back on May tenth, twenty twenty on INDIEGOGO website where Comicsgate comics can be purchased. Ethan while recently talking about his latest project Cyberforg Rekt planet he went and sold me on VESTIGE by saying it's got not only a western style parts of story elements but it has of course one thing that I can't ignore a bit of the Twilight Zone is in this that made up my mind about getting it besides it having Ethan's art on the cover, mine also came with a poster by Van Schiver of the character called  Mathilda Klein.                           I do hope that the story is going to be grand as Ethan says.... I am certain that either way I will find a reason to love it as I have all of the comics that I have read in the past. I know that I truly fooled many of you with my title of this post in the way of me possibly being a daddy, well no I am nowhere near ready for that kind of excitement and with the world full of great inspiration already maybe I can love another human being but comics are far better for me that I know of.

Hello to All Mothers,                                                                                                                          I  know that it has been a long way to long since I have written about the barers of all humans who are called MOTHERS, it not because in the past I didn't have anything to say about you. It was more I wasn't sure of how I wanted to phrase my words of how YOU share YOUR LOVE each an every day of your own lives. Mothers are just as important as Daddies to each of us because without them finding each other how can we all be here on planet earth? Of course we all know that answer to that don't we?        Okay let's get into why ALL MOTHERS MATTER, one reason beyond each mother giving us sons and daughters lives after growing inside of them for a total of thrity nine weeks.....nine months if you're wanting to not use your brain at the moment I can understand but for those of you who do mothers are the first ones that doctors give us to be held by. Sometimes it might be that you are to early of being birthed and you may need time to grow a lot more than your mother could give you because of a medical condition she's having...still she will be there to help you anyway she can.                                                                                                                                     A mother trys to teaching us how to eat and learn about high fives and reading small stories. They share with us what love is by holding our hands when we are crossing the street or a parking lot to get to the car. Mothers work to give you the best opportunity of becoming the most important part of yourselves.                                                All Mothers try to give us the best  of their knowledgeable experiences that their parents and family give them so far, they also hope that their closest friends will teach us good hopeful examples of life as well. Mothers hope that each lesson we learn will be one that grows our hearts toward loving our fellow human beings by how we continue to explore life every day that we all exist.                                                            Now I will say this, that what I have written about Mothers comes from knowing that yes they are as Broken at times as we as daughters and sons can be, and that I have written from the heart of my soul as best I can to share why Mothers of us are simply like us just every day humans. If you're near yours call them and share a reason why you love them, believe me what you say is absolutely more important than just sending flowers or candy to brighten her special day. Who knows you may find a stronger way to share that humbling love during this time of being separated this very year, when we are to be isolated because of a virus we can't even see.

I have no idea of why I didn't think of this sooner?

Oh where and how do I start with this one,                                                                                      Well I guess at the beginning of the start is where any thing does... but what is anything being shared lately expect a great many unknowns. ESPECIALLY with the conroviuris affecting EVERYONE but I am not sure of how I am wanting to talk about that topic but very soon I most certainly will. Yet what is on my mind of late is this my old Samsung Tab 5 tablet. I remember what happened to it when I got it, while with my folks back in 2014 we went on a road trip to go see Deadwood South Dakota and Mount Rushmore. Of course we also saw my sister Merri and her FAMILY 

,seen here while in Minnesota before our trip to either Dakotas. While in Bismarck North Dakota we stopped at Best Buy and after charging it the night before I found out that the battery just died....we went and took it to get it exchanged and this one has lasted till this year in January. I had to get the whole battery replaced in October of twenty eighteen over in uptown shopping center in Richland.                            After the battery was replaced it was working all super dandy and such with my Star Trek Timelines online game, which here is a screen shot of Mirror Picard  to give you what the game is like playing 

he first appeared in Star Trek the next generation comic put out by the comic company called IDW 's 2017's FREE COMIC BOOK DAY titled "MIRROR BROKEN", which was a six iusses series. Sorry did not mean to be sidetracked in topic at hand but my Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 tablet from twenty fourteen had back in January of this year was having connection problems with the internet when I decided to start writing again with my first entry of three BATMAN comic trades about him and his arch nemesis known as the Joker to prepare for watching the new Joker film.                                                                                      What kept happening was as I said the internet kept shortening out so I for the first time since owning the tablet got so impatient because I was also very tried at the time and I went and had smashed the screen with my fist then it looked like this on the screen. 

 So after my birthday I went looking at Best Buy with my brother Michael for options of a new Samsung tablet then had my younger sister Kylie order me a new one of a newer upgraded version through Best Buy's online store... the whole point of this post is that I had videos and pictures on that other Samsung device that I wanted to keep and I was going to go to Best Buy and have them help me with transferring said videos and images to the new tablet.                                  When the conroviuris started getting all out crazy every where so every state started a safe distancing ourselves from each other  and I will soon write about the world wide pandemic very soon... any how I can say that I almost forgot about having this SD memory card 

 I went and instead of waiting for the worldwide problem to end I went and used one of the two of them to copy all of my pictures and videos to the card to use them on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 5e. Now I know that I feel like I have all of my memories in one place and I can't be any happier. Please promise me that you will all try and be positive and safe for the foreseeable future when dealing with each day of your life.

What a coffee cup....

Boy talk about a interesting coffee cup,                       A couple of years ago one my coworkers at Albertsons went and had gone to a yard sale one weekend an found this neat coffee cup

What is it about this very coffee cup that has kept me Matt up since midnight you are asking yoursevles right?                                        Well it turns out that this coffee cup isn't just an ordinary one by any means at all... it is actually a puzzle cup. Ealier in late February I went looking at what was behind each peice by looking at what was behind each one. So behind each peice was a Enterprise D fact like where was it built?, when was it launched?, tough for non Star Trek Next generation fans or a Star Trek fan that hasn't seen anything other than the original series with that in mind  how many trek fans know who relived Picard actor wise in the sixth season two part episodes called "CHAIN OF COMMAND" the character was Edward Jelico so my question is actually a puzzle itself  huh? Another hidden gem in the puzzle cup is what is the Enterprise D's maximum wrap speed.                                                       How else would someone be able to keep from sleeping when you have a million things on your train of thinking during a world wide pandemic? For me keeping my barin from focusing on doubt or dispiriting entrapment I have to do something to keep busy anyway I can. I remember putting puzzles together from the Golden one hundred pieces of super heroes like the INCREDIBLE HULK pulling a wreck cruise line through the ocean ( I will tell you what had happened to that puzzle some other time, when I feel another puzzle mood is abounding....) or a huge Disney one with all of the  animated characters against a yellow background. One other puzzle that I remember putting together in elementary school was a Road Runner and Wilie Coyote with and image of the Coyote was in a hot air balloon basket with the Road Runner on top of the balloon.                                       One of my greatest helper with most of my job of putting puzzles together was this man seen with me in the picture seen here 

 who was this great guy ?you are wondering well he was my granddaddy Ben Powers who taught me many things in life but most importantly he taught me how to be patient with many situations in our journey called life.                                       Life is about puzzles and dealing with our current world wide pandemic virus called conroviuris is indeed many pieces and the solution to it for the time being is all over the place...yet it will take a great journey to finding the whole world a cure, which right now is very much a giant puzzle in every way possible for now. Before I leave you I want to share where I am at on my mobile online Star Trek Timelines game with it's current mini event  I will admit that even online games have ongoing puzzles within them. A TELEVISION SERIES THAT I LOVED AS CHILD....AND A VERY SPECIFIC EPISODE!

Hello All,                                                                                      So as you who all read this very blog know that I have always been a giant kid at heart, and yes again just yesterday was my special day of when I was born. I want to today talk about a television series that started way back when that at times I have posted images from but have not as yet gone into my actual love for a show that brought the forefront of those that help us all when we are sick or ill with a injury or another type of aliment that is causing us to be not our normal or natural selves. I am of course talking about the show that aired on NBC as an midseason replacement for "THE GOOD LIFE" and "THE  PARTNERS" it permired on January fifteenth, nineteen seventy two and ran till May twenty eight, nineteen seventy seven. It was called "EMERGENCY!"   

                                                                                              I happen to have the first two seasons and the post television movies on DvD. Today I am wanting to share my thoughts on a very specific yet very special episode of the first  season.... the episode's title is "DILEMMA" before we get started I want you all to know that Emergency! will not fit my widescreen smart television because of the camera that the filming crew used was full frame to fit the television screen ratio, of one point thirty three point one. Which was before sixteen by nine for the widescreen format which most everyone has a choice of getting now if they wish too.                                                                                "DILEMMA" was the show's ninth episode and it's time that it was on was (EST:5:30-6:00 ) and (CST:3:30-5:00 P.M.).

 Now let's get into the full review of the episode and see what occurred in this very special episode ( I will explain why it is so very special after the review) like the Star Trek series Emergency! had teasers  to the star of each episode, in this tease the viewing audience with the station being alerted to a call of a possible cardiac victim being stuck in a elevator at 225 overland cross street, Alcott which is an old hotel named club deko. Once inside and after talking to the manger on staff Roy and John race to the elevator mantince operation shaft on the fourth floor to find out that 

the break drum is slipping. They race down to the main floor Roy climbs into top of the elevator and we see the trapped passengers... he helps out all but and elderly couple the husband protected his wife as the fell, his name is Sam. His wife that has the heart attack or possibly a heart attack is named Annie. At Rampart one the newest student nurse Sharon Walters is flustered by doctor Brackett rides her about getting the incoming reading off of the current incoming transcript of the call. Dixie McCall the head nurse tells Brackett his inpeckable inpatient procedure doesn't apply to all newbies. Back at station fifty one, Johnny Gage has a problem from the other day when he was putting away the station flag... the problem is Cynthia. Johnny describes her as a fireman groupie.                                                                Walters can speak to Joe Early but, she learns a little bit of changing her thoughts towards Kel Brackett, to still be unsure at the moment. A call at the station comes in of an industrialized accident has happened in the Alameda train yard area. Two train tank cleaning men have gotten their jobs of cleaning vegetable oil cars maybe confusion according to their supervisor. The team go searching for Andy which is stuck in a train tank on row three, Johnny finds a hose that leads him and Roy to look into the tank and         

they find Andy. Whom was very much in need a resperatoir to get him back to being stabilized and wash the chemical with water. The chemical the two were exposed to was trichloroethylene. Andy was sitting at the way he was saved his life. Sam from the earlier elevator incident  starts to have chest pains and Sharon Walters is with him while it is occurring. She helps him by setting him right in his hospital bed. She tells Brackett that Sam had a respiratory distress pulse 135 and thready blood pressure 90 over 60. She ask Brackett after he wants an IV started will he want a portable x-ray and cardiogram. He responded with "And some blood tests." Sam had just had an embolism that resulted from when he had a clot just a moment ago. Brackett comes to learn that a chat between Dix and Sharon gave Sharon her confidence to overcome her fears of Brackett. Yet Brackett and the audience are left wondering what that whole conversation was about? As for Gage's Cynthia problem is pretty sloved when she starts seeing

fellow firefighter Chet. Now as to why this very episode is so very specific as the title of this blog states is because it aired on March 25,1972 the day after I was born. So like me being forthy eight years old in twenty ,twenty it to is forthy eight years old as well.                              Sometime after this coronavirus diease has passed us by I will write about the whole "Emergency!" series  I of course just may have to wait for findfin seasons three through five somewhere on DvD sales maybe Amazon would be my best answer there huh?  Still it like all the other television series that I have talked about will be posted here eventually. I do hope that your all staying home and safe too.                  

VERY UNKNOWN SET ARRIVAL FOR UPCOMING COMICS......

Hello comic collectors worldwide,                                Ok have I ever shared  who my favorite four color character is, of course  I know that I have more times than I can count..... yet even though I like you am a reader of many stories of horror, heroism, growth and always changing moments of tension  between good and evil, even my love of science fiction can be thrown in for connecting all them which what  I love about comic books. I even love popular cartoon characters like the Smurfs, Scooby Doo, Transformers in comic book form too. The world has impacted recently with a pandemic that has everyone being confined to being staying at home and having there be safe distancing between us for everyone's own sake of stopping the hopefulness of the conroviuris virus...                                                                                Like most of you with wanting something to do in your down time is really nah on a great comic no matter what you like you are probably wanting the latest issue of whatever title you are getting in your pull box or pull list at your local comic book store...
      Well like you I to have known that by the internet that today the company that you tell your comic store owners to order you your "WALKING DEAD!", "BATMAN", "AMAZING SPIDER-MAN", "SPAWN".... some these I personally get others are here to help prove my point that your favorite four color stories of the month are not going to be in your box... the reason why this is because the ordering company DIAMOND the guide to ordering not just Tee Shirts, games, models, but especially your weekly comics has decided for what ever reason as of the current time to just completely stop being the ordering guide for anyone's bit of having a great time of fun with your super heroes...                                                                             Does this mean that companies that  make our world's greatest monthly books of fantastic daring dos want to let you the comic reading public down?, the actual answer is NO! They want to keep their audiences full of experiences of awesome adventures of hope and love for those fictional characters. So I hope that you can find the right way of finding those experiences of excitment through reading back issues of your favorite characters. Or even better yet during these isolating times find a way to make it your mission of writing your own continuity for your own enjoyment. 
    As for myself I will admit that I know that I have a lot of gigantic back log of reading to get caught up on, so till those companies decide what to do with getting out there products  for kids and collectors again find a way to show your support for your local comic shops by the internet at this current set of times.

Hello fellow movie fans and comic fans alike...             As I am sure that you are aware that of recent postings over the last few months I have been putting together a set of comic book trade reviews of a certain BATMAN foe that has been around since the second BATMAN titled comic of the late mid nineteen forties. The character of which I am talking about was created by three men Bill Finger (w), Jerry Robinson (A), and Batman (creditor,owner, Robert Kane, better known to comic fans as Bob Kane) was the character seen here 

known as the Joker. Which originally came from the old silent film design wise that starred Conrad Veidt as 

"THE MAN WHO LAUGHS" from nineteen tweny eight. "But Holy Hollywood therapy theracties  gone awry...Batman what's going on here?" as Robin the boy wonder actor Burt Ward would  have phrased it, from the nineteen sixties "BATMAN television series..." we aren't talking about that version of Joker...              We are going  through last year's movie by Warner Bros pictures from director Todd Phillips that stars Robert De Niro and Joaquin Phoenix 

 as the Joker. Joker begins  with Arthur Fleck a man who is trying to bring business to comedy club getting attacked by some street thugs and when comes back to claim his check for the week a coworker shows him his gun and gives it to Arthur to protect himself from said event ever happening again, only to have the club manager mad at him for losing the sign. We come to find out that Arthur is a struggling comedic artist who enterains at a local child hospital and let's his gun fall to the floor in the middle of his act, the hospital sends him off without paying for his services to the children ward and come to find out that the company he works for fires him for breaking the rules of no weapons on your person while at work. We see he resides with his mother while she is  just ill. So all in all he seem to be a humbled man in his every day life, till on a ride home on the subway he defends himself with the gun when business men attack him. He kills them, then starts going to clubs to find new material to add to his notes. 
         When Arthur does break out into laughter he happens to get a lot more hysterical than others watching the proformance do. So much that even he is not understanding where it is coming from. He returns home an finds out that from his mother that he is the son of one Thomas Wayne who happens to be running for mayor of Gotham city. ( This and two other small parts of the story and film are related to BATMAN at all...)                                                                      This film is definitely INCREDIBLE and FASCINATING because while it is giving a background to the most evil foe of Bruce Wayne's rouge gallery that has always been eloquently elusive in the comics. It tackles one of the greatest challenges most all of us as humans don't know how to relate to, or mainly care to choose to put helping the many who are infected with mental illnesses as being needing help from their social workers and caregivers who are needing to study every day because everyone has a different perspective with their given experiences. I am not saying that I have the answers anymore than you who are reading this review of a certain movie that truly tries to make an impression on while society on many ways tries to help those who are suffering from getting wrong medical attentions... and a lot of people don't know how to respond to why those who have those mental disorders can't find help.                                        Why is it society itself doesn't  think that those who are mentally ill are trying to learn how to live lives  just like we who have every day problems are doing too? How can we say that giving up is not easy  enough when we can have hope of helping others people Everywhere with our trust in our hands and hearts  and in our Faithfulness in who we see as our GOD? Yet more than we want to admit our own beliefs at the same time have been a great way of getting to help those who really need it.                                                                                   For a moment try thinking of those who are in mental institutions, and remember this they are not there because they wish to be but because they are broken in the brain and it is impossible to know how to fix one that is suffering from mental health issues. Finally if you know someone who has a mental health illness iusses be with them in spirit!

I will be seeing y'all for as the title of this blog says for my movie ta-ta till then!"                                                                                  Boy that was rather scary giving the opening prestation to a madman huh?, like he said let's not hold back in getting into his story that is by writer Brain Azzarello and artist Lee Bermejo. It came out originally when Christopher Nolan's second film of BATMAN'S twenty oh eight. "Oh wasn't  Heath great as me, Mister Byrd...!"Still here are you JOKER?, I thought you had decided to do something fun while waiting to get into a debate about your own personal experience of watching your film with me very soon. "Just remember now that you are capable of being killed if I don't love this upcoming release of my book you have been warned sir!"                                                    As I was saying JOKER is part of Decetvice Comics Black Label imprint an has a low life thug named Jonny Frost seen here 

 waiting for our man of the hour to come walking out of the gates of Gotham's mental instainty intuition called ARKHAM ASYLUM.

 The Joker and Frost set his plans in motion of reclaiming his strength on his old territories of crime throughout Gotham. We see that on top of being a wee bit crazy Joker is... "Teaming up with my pal Penguin is so rather cartoonish don't you know..." Mister J can I please continue, he is giving me the middle finger with a sly slime, so I think we are okay I hope! He is on the lookout for his foes mostly the BATMAN while he is also after a certain attorney known as Harvey Dent who has a beef with his latest protege Mister Frost. Jonny it seems isn't just a want be upcoming punk, he has a petty personal problem         

with his ex wife... something called a divorce in the works. The more that Jonny is with Joker he sees.... "Tell them what happens to the Frosting bad boy..." Joker is blowing at his pointer finger, Well okay if you really want to leave the best part out, I just guess it will have to be as you want Joker! So the Joker proves that he really is insane by shooting Frosting  boy while in a fight with the BATMAN then of course returning to ARKHAM!                                        The art in this by Bermejo sets darkness all over each character like they are diseased with no hope of any cure whatsoever. Just like in BATMAN YEAR ONE but this time it is reversed that BATMAN is merely hinted at.... "Now whose the insane one now MATT?" As Joker walks away from the body he just left hanging in an ice house with a ice pick through the heat... he laughs a low gritty bit of air from his lungs. "Well I think I won't be surprised if you can see my new film after all"

BATMAN YEAR ONE

BAT FANS,  ( OR THE SIMPLE COMIC BOOK READERS and readers of this very blog)                           Have I Mister Matt Byrd ever gone into my whole history of knowing the history of BATMAN or his true self better known as Bruce Wayne... maybe in parts I have. Yet I do know that at the same time I have not as well...and still that will be a blog post for another time. For right now besides trying to decide when the latest film of his arc foe simply known as JOkER will be view by me is as I said last month in "As Promised,before heading to Adventures..." that I have two more comic trades to punch myself over the point of reading before seeing that movie. Here's the very two of which I am deducting in my edvicde files 

 must informed set of overall demanding detailed information on both case studies of said adversities... with that being said we are looking  at the one on the far right.                            BATMAN YEAR ONE came out in nineteen eighty six after the company wide crossover event called "INFINITE CRISIS". Which Dectevicte Comics put out to do two things, which was to go head to head against Marvel's SCERET WARS  twelve iusse miniseries at the time, and to finally separate the many decades of their heroes histories so that readers of their books could understand their favorite heroes in current times.  The Genesis of this story was coming from the mind of Frank Miller whom had grand stuff over at Marvel with the lesser known character known as Daredevil. What does he know of BATMAN your wondering well... it just so happens that he wrote and drew BATMAN'S last story where the character of Bruce Wayne comes out of retirement simply called "THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS". He was more than excited to take on a new way of experiencing BATMAN'S origin, still this time around he only wanted to be the writer and was paired with David Mazzucchelli for the art chores of this project. Which was presented in single iusse form of the BATMAN comics # 404 through #407 with these as the covers of each part of                                                       

                     the single iusse format. As I said both Wayne and Gordon are besides not having directly met in this yarn but they will before all is complete... each has personal goals and objectives that they realize hope and fear of their honing their skills become the best of not just partners or somewhat friends they understand how very much each man is just an individual human being.                                                 There is something very surprising in this that Frank gave the reader that is a great twist on a certain other relative of BATMAN'S James Gordon character. I'm not going to spoil that surprise for anyone of you who may want to pick up  this trade. As to how much does any of this really relate to the JOkER.... I will say since it's the beginning reimagining of an eigty year old set of characters he's only hinted at with Gordon waiting for his new friend on a rooftop.... 

                                 

Looking for something new on Netflix....

Hey there everyone who is or isn't a binger watcher of your added streaming services whatever they maybe!                                                        Okay so it just seems a little off beat that I would be making a blog entry in the middle of the day right...and I should be at work at Albertsons right?, well today they have me scheduled at one for my starting time, I have been watching what I normally do to ten in the morning then I went looking for a DVD set to start or re watch again for the first time in a long time. The DvD series currently on yours truly brian of late is the series seen here 

 the ones on the top are the HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE set from 2007 through 2008 that ran on the cable channel Cartoon Network. Yet that is a another blog posting on its own making.                         Today's blog post as I said is about something on Netflix  and yes knowing me as most  of you do that this series is comic  book related, but  it  is not super hero infused at all. I have to admit  that  I only have very little true knowledge about this story as whole other  than that it was written by author Stephen King's son Joseph Hillstrom better  known to book readers as Joe Hill and comic artist Gabriel Rodriguez on a project called     "LOCKE & KEY". Goodbye Kirk Douglas

Hello movie lovers,                                                         I was just doing my looking on my Facebook personal page doing my thing of checking out my many updates with family and friends of also seeing what my future is like by playing a game on there. It was while looking through my friends updates that a family friend posted her most current update of the passing of Spartacus star 

 Kirk Douglas. I really know him best from Disney's live action movies from the nineteen fifties called 20,000 leagues under the sea, I remember watching it on an old VHS cassette tape in nineteen seventy nine  when movies really made me truly believe in storytelling. I had later heard of Spartacus but still till today haven't seen it. I am deeply saddened for Kirk's family because I know that they are going through hard and sorrowful moments of great fun with their dad and Granddaddy's death.                                                                I want to say that when anyone human being dies and weather they are famous or not, it gives those of us who knew them time to reflect on why we loved  them outside of just our feelings. We do know most everyone tires to make their mark of being remembered by their every day line of work, and if they can try to make ourselves comfortable and contented by having families. We all have the greatest opportunity on the part of when we have FAMILY that we have learned every life lesson and have passed it on to our children so that they can make the difference we choose not to in making the world a lot better place for their families as well.                                                                               Sorry I didn't mean to go and make this a time to share about my beliefs on how we should understand living life is or should be. I just know that in the coming weeks, I want to see some  of Kirk's work and appreciate his characters he worked at portraying. 

Football is many things.....

Hey Super Bowl fans,                                                      To all who love the game of Football I do hope that you are enjoying the 54th Super  bowl even if you're team didn't make it this given year. It  is between the San Francisco 49rs and Kansas city Chiefs. I am sure that anyone who knows me that sports of any kind are NOT MY THING! I don't  want everyone to think I hate sports I just find other things more fulfilling but I  want to say what I feel about Football in prictual in general of why it is better than even you or I are aware of if it is okay with you!                                                                                  Football is very good for keeping people of all sizes and ages from adults to children thinking about being strong about exercising your legs and arms in being active in taking what they learn from practicing and applying it to understanding every day life. Football is always if you take a moment of looking at it is men fighting against each other in the context of it being all out war in the safest way possible of in the end each team has put their  ultimate Best effort in building up hope and confidence in their hearts and souls. Still there are things about Football that are sad as well that is when any player is hurt. I love that the game gets so many people of every team excited for loving their teams all that much more...but does that give those fans the rightly means to brag about their teams, I wouldn't know because I am a man who hopes all is grand in everything we as a society do.                                                                                         I know that even Football players may at times let their egos get the better of them at times, but I have to admit we all have to remember being humble is what keeps us positive for all hopeful bits of life. It looks like the final score is KCC 31 and the 49rs 20. Have a great ground hog day as well all!

As promised before heading to Adventures....

 Hello all, Look I know that it has been at least a few years since I have put together a blog post of any  kind and in truth I will admit that it's not because of not trying.....but because of a simple thing called existing. Now I will also say that this is also my first post of 2020. As you all know about me that I love a art form called comic books, today before returning to the comic shop known as Adventures Underground I am going to tell you my thoughts on a certain trade that I got around  last year just before the release of a comic book film that just last week came out on multiple media it happens to be called "JOKER". I'm not entirely sure of if I will be getting the movie right away. I think before adding it to my collection I will be viewing it on Netflix after seeing it there, I will add it because it is a very different from superhero films.                                                                                                 Now before I take us on the overall review of this trade I want you to know when I went an purchased it I also got these two   

, trades seen here JOKER and BATMAN year one, and one of them is over one hundred pages of story. So let get into this set of battles of which I can tell you that I really know the deep background of one these very well. Altogether this trade has seven stories that span from nineteen seventy three up to twenty sixteen, I'm going to give a brief summary of each tale with a couple of pictures of each one.

The first story is from BATMAN # 251 Sept. titled "THE  JOKERS FIVE WAY REVENGE!" the story is by Denny O' Neal and art by Neil Adams. On the outskirts of Gotham city the police and commissioner Jim Gordon are looking at a murder suspect wondering who committed the violent crime in the first place and why? Gordon is wondering where THE BATMAN is, when he arrives he tells Jim that he has been there doing his own investigation work. He then shows them the give away clue 

 that it is his old foe known as Joker by the card he left at the scene. THE BATMAN then stars visiting Joker's various mob bosses he has worked with to find out that Joker has beaten him to finding each of them before BATMAN is there to help the poor saps. Except for the former forger Bing Hooley, whom was recently taken from a charity home by a Mister Genesius to Gotham's aquarium who is in turn really Joker and wants to kill two birds or rather foes with them being shark food. When Joker tosses both BATMAN and HOOLEY into the tank 

 you for a moment as the reader realizes even if unintentionally  that this reminds you of the BATMAN THE MOVIE from the campy live action series of the late nineteen sixties that starred Adam West as the hero, Batman and Cesar Romero as the clown prince of crime, the Joker. Need I say more... In the BATMAN'S DETECTIVE COMICS, #475 Feb. titled "THE  LAUGHING FISH", story by Steve  Englehart, penciler Marshall Rogers. We come to realize that like all heroes even BATMAN, has had his share of girl problems... and to top it off this girl seems to know his name 

hers by the way Ms St. Cloud. While swinging through Gotham's night and pondering it himself BATMAN'S attention is distracted by a call for help from a fish catcher who shows the detective a very odd set of fish. Meanwhile the Joker himself is in the bo office of Gotham wanting to trademark something and well I will let you see for yourselves ...

While at the same time Joker seem to be setting up a gains for himself among other mob bosses and his fellow foes of possession of learning BATMAN'S identity. One very cool things, I did find out while reading this one was the artists hid their names through out the story.                                                                            The third story in this trade is the continuation from the last one. BATMAN'S DETECTIVE COMICS # 476 with the month Apr, the story is titled "SIGN OF THE JOKER!" Things are going crazy from the Joker's copyrighting of fish with his own face by affecting other animals. Whom seem to inherit the madness from the aquatic life as seen by this cat 

 named ERNEST. Who attacks BATMAN... which turns out isn't the real Batman but is ERNEST'S true master THOMAS JACKSON.Which we find out minutes later is a murder that Joker had promised from earlier in the night, in an unknown place. Once BATMAN has dealt with the Joker he sees Miss Cloud 

where she tells him her feelings for him after they share a kiss before she walks away from his life...maybe forever? This story showed a great multitude of foes of BATMAN that even I have never heard of and that was a very interesting surprise for me, it makes me smile when a comic can do that!

             Earlier in this post I told you all about a comic in this very trade, that I know the inside and outs of it's history. We are at that one right now so here is my personal story of the addiction that is the safest ever for a teenager. Since the spring of nineteen eigthy seven I have been collecting comics. My family had moved back from living on the east coast in the summer of nineteen eighty eight and I had found the local comic store called Infinite Frontiers. A whole year later I remember that when I saw this very comic cover 

 when I was attending my very first comic convention, it was also BATMAN'S fiftieth year anniversary so a lot stuff was going on that year even a upcoming feature film. "DEATH IN THE FAMILY" was written by Thanos co creator Jim Stalling with art by Jim Aparo. In the course of this story earlier parts BATMAN'S ward Jason Todd was the second Robin and comic fans loathed the character completely to the point of hate. In the previous issue the Joker killed Robin, at the end of the issue there were two one nine hundred numbers with  BATMAN holding a bloodied Robin in his arms...                                                                 In "a DEATH IN THE  FAMILY", It finally seems as though the JOKER has bested BATMAN by taking away his partner of fighting crime against his foes by taking his ward Jason and blowing him and his mother up. That was in part at the end of issue 428, Dec. 1988. In this one BATMAN is out for no matter how you say it utter revenge no matter what, but the Joker has gone to great extremes to make  it impossible. How you are asking?               

 It is a C.I .A. agent by the name of Ralph Bundy, who tells BATMAN that the Joker has made himself an protected diplomat of Iran with that being the case no one but especially BATMAN can not lay a hand on him with out a international incident happening... like maybe world war III could be the final outcome if things were to result in Joker's favor! Even though Batman's hands are legally tied with dealing with the Joker he happens to get some help from the man of steel better known as by the Joker as 

 "SUPERHAM!" in throwing a proverbial wrench into killink  the Iranians delegates to start that hopeful war. Yes, the saddest part of this arc ends as Batman words describe it best of all between himself and the Joker... "UNRESOLVED."

In the next fight against these two comes from the "HUSH" storyline by writer Jeph Loeb and Image  artist Jim Lee, in BATMAN # 614. With the story titled THE JOKE. It has BATMAN seen here 

 breaking all of his might on the clown of crime. While telling us the readers what the Joker's past history has lead to this very showdown! In the end it  takes Jim Gordon's gun at Batman's noggin 

 to make the dark knight remember his very own code of honor rule. Does BATMAN crossover to being a true villain for the first time ever? I'm not telling mainly because I really don't know but I know that I have said trade of this storyline from last Christmas and am now very much wanting to devour it into my comic loving brain is all I can say about this one!

" BATMAN:ENDGAME part six is by writer SCOTT SNYDER and another Image comics artist as penciler this time it's GREG CAPULLO in BATMAN # 40 from twenty fifteen. This tale has not only BATMAN but all of his other foes, battling Joker...

What is very,very, interesting to me as a reader is that not only is BATMAN'S trusting alley Alfred Pennyworth not part of the leading help that goes to SNYDER'S newcomer character Julia...and he still makes his very arc as I was saying intriguing by having

 JOKER know who BATMAN really is! As they fight each other in some deep cave under Gotham's city streets... I am glad if I don't know for sure, because I felt it was the two them in the Batcave? but it is great having a good time getting to guess where the true location is!  I'm not sure if I liked this story as whole but it was still a fun reading experience none the less.         At last we have now arrived at the final yarn for this very trade, it is called BATMAN: EUROPA, the story is by MATTEO CASALI and BRIAN AZZARELLO with pencils and finishes by JIM LEE. After a fight with the Joker and him he yet again getting away and then fighting Killer Croc whom I am guessing is very similar to Spider-man foe the Lizard? BATMAN and his butler Alfred find out that not only is the Bat-computer has a virus with the word COLOSSUS as a pun or a clue to a possible answer?

Also at the same time BATMAN has a infectious breakdown of his blood cells. Thinking that computer information is formatted like a joke he heads overseas to Berlin. When after looking for Joker and eventually finding him threatening a computer hacker named  Marlene...BATMAN quickly puts together that both he

 

and the Joker have various peices to the very same computer virus and as well the same infectious disease. So to keep your pulse pounding and wanting to know how they get out this all you really know is that they have to work together to find out who is trying to kill both them and why?                                                        This last one really has me wanting to hunt down this very title in it's own individual iusses or the full BATMAN EUROPA trade! Soon I will have those other two trades having a posting real soon. I promise and love always the four color worlds of comics with joy in your souls.
