A top ten of Casey's toon characters # 9.........

Hey All  it's toon time again with Mister Kasem.........,
    As everyone should know by now that very suave voice the top fella seen here in the mystery inc gang recently went to cartoon heaven a few days ago.....and I wanted to keep up on my top ten of his best and least and of course surprising vocal talents. So let's see who falls into the ninth slot shall we?  Since it is in red that I'm using to pen this one in,  it can only be one of two main toons characters that Casey put his longest bit of sound to..... now here is the question to really think about is it Cliff Jumper or Robin the boy Wonder 

 , funny is it not that in the above photo that Robin is just above Cliff Jumper. Also notice that yesterday Mark Venture character from "BATTLE OF THE PLANETS" is right next to Cliff Jumper and yes most these others seen here will in the top ten somewhere I'm sure! Today's slot happens to be for the pal of the guy who runs around Gotham city as the Dark Knight or as he was called in the cartoons with Robin, Batman. Now as I said a moment ago Robin was Casey's second longest running voice next to Shaggy Rogers......he voiced Robin as far back as nineteen sixty eight in" Batman with Robin the boy wonder", which I'm sure came right after the Adam West and Burt Ward's takes on the iconic comic book heroes. Casey was the ongoing voice of Batman,s ward till " Super Power team: Galactic Gaurdains which ran in full animated form in the year nineteen eighty five. I mostly remember Kasem's Robin from "Challenge of the Super Friends" and "The Super Friends hour", still no matter how many other teenager super heroes he was teamed with do Zander and Jana the wonder twins fall into that area as well 

as Wendy and Marvin seen here 

Robin without a doubt very neatly done by the coolest radio disc jockey around was the boy wonder at his best with Kasem's track voice over. So that is why Robin is the ninth best voice that I can appreciate in Casey Kasem toon history.......

A top ten of Casey's toon characters # 10......

Hello to all who loved Mister Kasem,
 Well I'm sure that if you were hiding under a rock yesterday that you didn't hear of radio Disc Jockey and the voice of so many beloved cartoon characters that we all know and love did pass into vocal heaven. Now I won't be one to say who is right or wrong with his family war of what he wished for after he did pass on either.... but I did after hearing of his death really did think a lot about his greatest cartoon character that he voiced forever....well I'm sure we all know who that was/is? still where does

 the Shag man fall on this very top ten list of characters, is it even number 1 or not? Well this is what I did decided to do in the way of this very top ten list:  one, Have one of Casey's characters that I know super well (yes this includes Scooby's pal to be waited on for sure) needs to be as unknown to me Matt as they are to you the reader or at least for the most part anyway!   
 So where do we start then right? 

Well I was thinking of something almost as old as Scooby Doo anyway  and a art style I have liked as much as I do any cartoon no matter what, that of course would have to be Anime from Japan. Yes I know I might be breaking my own rule here but does the name Mark Venture ring any bells in Anime, I mean outside of  the guy seen here 

with his best friend and enemy Derek Wildstar, from the Anime animated series called STAR BLAZERS here in America......well from my understanding at the same time that    STAR BLAZERS hit the air waves of the United States so had this Anime in certain areas, but not the same ones.....(i think?)  It was called "BATTLE OF THE PLANETS". It as well had a Mark Venture character in it. Casey Kasem provided the voice for the Mark Venture character of this series seen here:

Now I will say this I know nothing of BATTLE OF THE PLANETS at all if anyone who does know of it's history it would be greatly appreciated if you would let me know your thoughts of if this Anime lover should add it to my collection of stuff to watch or should I watch it online please let me know? All the same Mister Kasem your sorely missed as any character that was  just super cool!

Fathers why they need a day for reflection.....

Hello All,
 Every time this time year comes around  I feel both misunderstood and yet very blessed to being who I Raymond Matthew Byrd am, as a human being. I am one writer who tries my best to being honest about matters of love, now the kinda love that I'm wanting to talk about isn't your everyday kind of love between a male and a female, yet it is a love that is concerning the same amount of truthfulness and respect that every child of the planet earth should recall and remember no matter what! Everyone is born to a female of course and no matter what there is usually a man involved, that is as far as creating a living human soul I will put into the matter, for I know that there are people in the world who are born for other reasons outside of being cared for at all. For those of you that don't know your father or maybe both of your parents I hope through these words that I write here this very afternoon can help you find the real meaning of love. A father is many things, in life He is there to help you out if you should fall down and scape you knee or elbow, He is there to help with reading a story and homework if He is a stay at home type of figure.He is here to teach us right from wrong in learning about RESPECTING all life: In essence a father is a teacher just as a mother is too, His hope is that when your ready to leave the nest that He has done HIS JOB of showing you not only kindness and nurturing hope in his belief system of being a person that he is proud to call his son or daughter. So I want to say is this if you love your dad and can't hug him at the moment do the next best thing that being is remember he loves you no matter the miles away you are weather he is half way around the world (that would be my case with my step dad Chuck Watson, He and my mom live in Cuenca Ecuador), or in another state and better yet just down street from where you live give your father a call on the phone , or write him a email on one of the social media networks that he is a part of online, or just go and visit with him to let him know how much HE MATTERS TO YOU! Finally if all of that even fails which it could I don't know, but how about writing the man who taught you so many things in life a hand written letter that is something no one ever does nowadays huh?, but it would be cool no matter what to either do something with your pa or remember him for who he was in life. 


With great respect I love you Micheal Joe Byrd for you did your utmost best in raising three kids. Even though you yourself couldn't always open up with the words......all the time you done good being the most respectful human being of a father that you were , for Matt, Micheal, and Kylie I can say this and know it to be from their hearts as well  "WE LOVE and MISS YOU, ALWAYS"

Hello everyone,

 You know sometimes things just happen for a strange reasons outta the Blue, and you never really know why? So today's title must mean something in a small way if not all the way related to me Matt Byrd, going and seeing a newly released movie right? well without keeping all of you guessing and making time to walk down to the theater itself I will let you know it is of course related to thins movie poster

Here I am standing along side the very poster for the movie known as "X-Men DAYS, OF FUTURE PAST" there's diffidently something odd and funny about it ....  That's right the funny thing is the poster advertisement is that it is at Columbia Center mall in Kennewick Washington and I saw it as I was leaving from "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2" on it's opening night which was May second....Yet the theater it is being screened at is CARMIKE CINEMAS which is in the same area just across the street from the mall. Like I said back when I was talking about my trip to see family in Minnesota and Mount Rushmore I had taken my brother Michael and his whole family's Christmas gift to me from in two thousand and thirteen on the trip with me, I got most of it read for the most part I still have two chapters to go. An for me I love to read the main source material before I see a movie that I know I'm willing to shell out hard earned money for. Yet when I was over at Adventures Underground my local comic store I had heard it was really super either way of knowing the back story or not so I'm gonna go with where I am with it and just go all out and be brashly about it all. I'm X-CITED  no matter what because I think I need a movie this good to pluck me into reading comic again..... With it being the first of the month as well y'all know what that means right?  Here is what I had

 

 all month long for the site plate of course! A woeful Peter Parker sulking in thoughts of telling his sweetheart love Gwen Stacy anything of who he is? Also in keeping with the same idea from the Marvel 616 universe I went with this as my desktop image 

, for of without a doubt "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2" which I will again say was very good with most of the Peter and Gwen parts of the story, especially it's 121 related moment!
