To the birthday gal known as my mother.

Hello all,
   I can't believe it yet again to the person I call mom has once again reached another milestone of grandness today is when she came into her own journey of living life in a year that I respectively have forged in a place known as a memory laps of time. My mother has been there in first three great kids lives myself , my brother Micheal, and our sister Kyile and I'm sure each of us can recount certain times we three drove mom more than a bit nutty as a cracker growing up. Then as I have said many ways we married into a bigger family in the summer of nineteen eighty five and gained two older siblings Lyle and Merri Watson, because of knowing this man with her seen here 
 









Chuck Watson whom she lives with in a place known Cuecuna, Ecuador but from insider information I have come to know that they are here in the united states and will be here in Richland for a little while in the first week of November. On my most recent vacation time away from Albertsons the all mighty birthday queen gave me a set of pictures from my first trip down to Ecuador that  I had accidentally erased in the later part of 2010 and she when giving me those back ups also gave me some family ones from when she and her brother Norman Powers and her sister Mary Anne Simmons were all growing up and here is the one I found of my mom with one of many birthday cakes 

   in her life that her mother Evelyn may have taken or it could have been her daddy Ben Powers, at any rate in truth the photo is priceless. I'm very glad that my mom choose to share these very memories with me by giving me copies of those rare family moments before I came along. Still speaking of her mother here is one of two great moms together 

before Evelyn went to be with Ben her husband and best friend in December of 2012 in heaven. So mom wherever you and Chuck are right at this very moment on your way from Kyile's place in California or just in the airport waiting for your plane, Happy Birthday to you pretty lady.         

Still waiting to get the funny parts of another book done as I talk of "DH" of Doctor Who

Hello all, 
 Look to tell you all the truth of why I enjoy reading at a very slow pace is really this more than anything I love to get to know all of the little new logy of all of the characters within the story even outside of the main established title character which has the franchised name on the cover of the said book. Now I do have to say as I have before this book of Doctor Who "Dark Horizons" is my very first time of devouring the character on my actual own without being forced to or not, there have been many a times before of where I have talked of other family members jumping into the Tardis, most notably my nephew Cannon seen here as the Doctor

 ,last year on Halloween. My very first exposure to the British Science fiction character in the longest of time was in late summer or early fall of  2012 It was during that very Christmas that I gave my sister in-law Kathie  the comic graphic novel seen 

here. 











As you can seem to tell all in my brother's family seem to like the Matt Smith take on the character. All together there have been twelve actors who played the Time traveling alien that started way back in nineteen sixty three...yes before you go asking he is older than any of the crews of any incarnation of the American series known as Star Trek. Now let me tell you this would have also been a book my step brother Lyle would have devoured as much as I did and here's why for him the tale had Vikings in it as well and I know that Lyle would  probably would have endowed one his many Dungeons and Dragons created characters have Viking abilities to a given short I'm thinking? 

Now for Dark Horizons itself is a wide birth of fun for sure, This take of the Doctor is playing a game of Chess as the Tardis is traveling through space and time he has with him a maiden named Freydis who happens to be a piece of the game board and his companion (or like companion, for ever doctor has one at some point in any doctor who tale) is a fellow  named Henrik whom loves the game as much as the Doctor does. Somehow the piece that is Freydis comes to life in the cupboard that the game is stored in aboard the Tardis as the Doctor and Henrik are fighting some vikings that are chasing them for the game piece known as Freydis. When both the Tardis and the viking vessel end up in twelfth century Scotland waters that seem to have the surface on fire, that is where the science fiction part comes into play rather heavy, besides the Doctor of course......
          The inhabitants of where both that Doctor and the vikings are is never truly named. Still they treat the Doctor and his two companions help them confront the vikings for as with most vikings involved in a story mostly do is take over even if they are the given foils always. So during the course of the many matches of the day that some of the island inhabits are coming to him of stories of loved ones dying  He agrees with them all that something isn't at all right, so he take the Tardis to sea and finds living under the water beings known as Arill whom are an advanced race of electrical matter that has been trying to find a way to a more fruitful world where they can all absorb  flowing electricity and each time they come to water surface they are the earth element of fire and to survive they must interact with a big flowing space of neurological streaming area and the only way the Arill have found is through an human host. The Doctor tells them he will find a way to intercede if he is given time to think of both parties together.  
       What I can say about this from my way of looking at the Doctor character is I get the feeling that much like Star Trek or whatever form of American science  fiction one wishes to hold close to your soul as grand stuff, this isn't bad for fan fiction if I maybe so bold to state. As to what book it is I'm trying to fill in still for those who want to now are the first and second fun bits of this 

seen here. And in the meantime I have found this very time traveling tomb 

to keep me entertained and full of thoughtful insight into anything I'm writing these days! It's called Star Trek From History's Shadow.  

A event that I attend every year or try too!

Hello my god friends,
   Well it is again Saturday, and usually that means I go and make bacon for the HillSpings  church Men ministry get together breakfast. Yet this morning the group of guys that get together are not at the church we are down at Howard Amon park in Richland, helping setting up the event known as "The Buddy Walk". Sure October is a lot more known as Breast Cancer awareness, Yet it is also known as Down Syndrome time as well. My friend Jeremy Johnson and his family take part in the event because of their kiddo 

named Claire. In fact Jeremy for quite a while has been trying to find a way we as the Men's group can help more in community events and this year his loving and caring wife Jessica is on board the volunteer organizing of the Buddy Walk so without a doubt we knew what was happening. The Buddy Walk has for the first time as I know of is taking place over by the Richland community center,which I have to say has been mentioned by me in this very blog for other reasons. The Buddy Walk in it's past has been set up over by the finger nail 

part the park. The thing that I see as most benefice for everyone who is involved is that we all get more than just a great bit of excise relating to the walk itself like seen here of myself and the guys from Hillsprings church 

helping out not just because we should or can....the meaning of the Buddy Walk besides understanding awareness of Down Syndrome from a public view it's about what every darn thing in life is about! What is that your asking huh? simply the answer is to make new friends no matter what for I believe that God made all of HIS CREATIONS have one grand need more than any other besides what we as humans want it to be......and that is understanding that ALL OF US NEED TO BE NOT ONLY LOVED ON WHICH IS NUMBER ONE....WE ALL HAVE TO BE FRIENDS NO MATTER WHAT OUR LOOKS ON Living are.

 Hello All, 
  I happen to have a huge one my dear reader public? What you are asking us a questions it seems so? I will get back to what that very question is in a moment. I just want to let you all know that I plan on keeping you all very scarred  this very month known as the month that both kids of any age enjoy simply because of the very things put into their plastic pumpkins or big designed candy bags to get that very yummy treat known as candy. The very first scary things I'm going be putting out is  "Silent Night pt.1......sometime later today for sure and you  won't be all warm and fuzzy like you are at  Christmas Time mark my words.... most likely you'll be cowering under the covers of your bed! Now as to the main point of this very entry here is what I am having a nit picking time of deciding for the first time since well.......

 

 October thirty first of twenty ten when I tried my best at being one the all time classics of the top three classic scary monsters of Halloween itself I was Dracula and a good one or at least I thought so at the time you be the judge? Then I was the Black suit of the marvel comic character called Spider-Man in twenty eleven. Then after that with my last three costumes as you can tell I put even more love into making them the impressive legends that each were! Yet before I wanna say as of yet I'm stuck on what I want to be this very year but I can say I do have at least one idea in mind maybe with your help I'll be able to think of more than one for one hundred percent insure. Now let get down to real work and see who would and did win in a chess match between Desslok of Gamilon and Papa smurf now remember last month for the most part was blue in text in honor of Lyle my step brother's death back in 2014 on September thirteenth, and according to Lyle I think he would say it is Desslock whom would be the winner in the end. Which brings up for this month whom should the players be for the game I say since we are dealing with dark and vile moves it should be either these two

Was it something rather odd that caused the event 14 years ago today in the year that I gradutated from high school?

Hello All,
    Boy when I think of today's date it will and does cause me Raymond Matthew Byrd  to be shaken for not only mine alone but for every American soul that seems to show very tiny respect of what happen in the state of New York from 8:46 am the North tower was hit by American Airlines Boeing 767 that was being controlled by terrorist group members of al-Qaeda to brake our meaning of Hope.An after burning for eighteen minutes a second Boeing 767 turned from it's flight path and slammed into the South Tower at 9:03 Am. At 10:30 Am Eastern standard time those very terrorists had achieved their dying wish to bring the north American continent Fear! Every year since that time that we as Americans should be showing and expressing the feeling of loving one another "I can tell you this I myself just DON'T FEEL WE GOT THE MEANING OF GOD SHOWING US WHY WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF LOVING HOPE." 
   Can I say, "I know what the right WORDS ARE TO SAY"  to someone who lost a friend or family member on that sadden day......I think deep down I would only be able to cry with that person out of hope more than anything than try to ever be finding  the right words are no words surly are not  necessarily justified for I know if I lost a real life friend because of that very event I would still be very broken for sure. I want to ask you all do you think beefing up all of our security measures around the whole world has helped here, the answer is both "YES AND NO" at the same time.  By this what I mean is for the most part we have taken on fighting those regimes of terror at their own front door for the last few years in one form or other. Still I do wonder have the results of the attacks made our way of looking at faith and loving one another simply vanish....... In my own way of looking at it WE ALL HAVE STILL FALLEN SHORT OF THIS! So how do we approach tackling this topic when we come upon this day September 11th, here's what I think we should ALL DO, PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING OUR OWN STRENGTHS TO KEEP US ALL HUMBLE in HOW WE REMEMBER THE REAL HEROES OF THAT DAY A FIRE FIGHTER or a POLICE OFFICER are our true saviors, and if you know either one in your own community Thank them for helping in thoughts for the lost HEROES in NEW YORK.
     Now just so that all of you know as for the title of this very entry I didn't graduate in 2001 but rather in June of 1991 and at the time like I am now but more so then I was in overload territory with loving everything about Spider-Man and back then before leaving to create his well known character of SPAWN comic book artist Todd McFarlane was doing his very last issue of the adjective less comic of Spider-Man

In it he joins up with the group that use to go by the name New Mutants but are now calling themselves X-FORCE, The team was going after a pair of Mutants whom any X-Men fans would know as Black Tom Cassidy and the Juggernaut, whom are fighting very near the streets of lower Manhattan and what is rather (not so surprising now)  is that throughout the battle Todd wanted to show how extreme even heroes can be when handling saving the day. Look at this scene of Scattershot attacking Juggernaut's face in draft form.

              Even back then in the 90's at the time this was not safe for any kiddos to view so the editor of the Spider-Books had Todd re draw the page and here is what it looked like in the end 

And yet to make up for what couldn't been viewed as the artist being experimental he had Juggy head butt his way through the North tower and Spidey and The X-Force group stood ready to beat the unstoppable monster down

Both books had to be read sideways. One more quick thing in the beginning of Spider-Man # 16 Todd threw out the name of his first born child on what? 

The BEST PARTS of a man known as Lyle (pt. 2 of ??)

Hello All,
 Look I know that I started a couple of days ago with a list of things of how I Matt Byrd want to remember my step brother Lyle Watson and as for the question marks in the title of these entries is because I know I may miss the truest part of my own meanings at times.  Lyle was super smart that I recall one time when just after we combined our two families we went up to a mountain resort where if you looked out around you all that you could see was the great green grass and highest tress and knew that you were free to doing whatever you could envision. Well one night we had happen to be playing trivia Pursuit, I can't remember if if was just he and I that were or if there were others as well I want to think now that I'm remembering that we had others playing the board game as well. I also recall that when the game got harder Lyle found a lot of the questions really easy, still two answers I remember getting right that stick with me till this day "Who wrote the 1818novel called Frankenstein?" was the question and what came out of my mouth was "Mary Shelley" and a big smile loomed on my face...The second question that I was asked was "Name the candy company that makes the Snickers candy bar?" Of course this one took me a few minutes to think of? how I reach the answer was at the time I loved the candy bar known as a MARS BAR and the more that I thought of it The Mars company was my final answer as they say on the game show known as Jeopardy! and I was right again. Other games that we played as a family weren't so fast thinking on the brain as I or Lyle loved but they were still mighty fun, one those games was something called "SPOONS" where after playing a card game where you had a set of tfour of a kind after you got that you would try and not be the last person to end up without a spoon because you didn't want to be left holding the cards at all for you got stuck with everyone else points on top of your own as well. They way game is played is like like musical chairs game of when your a kid with one less chair/spoon than there are players but all of the spoons are set on the table with the .part you eat with like this seen here 

expect that at our house we played the game on the dinner table when we played. Another game that Lyle was good at was any kind of board game from the earliest one known as Monopoly to Hotel where you tried to get every hotel in the game first by outsmarting your opponent. Lyle without a doubt loved games of all kinds for sure. Speaking of games let's see who won last month chess game between the Sith lord known as Darth Vader and Professor Xvaier of the X-men? I think that Lyle would have this as his answer to this  winner of the outcome Xvaier''s in the match because he don't need to have a glow stick weapon known as a light saber and Vader is trapped in his metal suit so of course it would be this guy

HUH?, well truth it is a Lyle favorite I'm sure with all things sci-fi related of modern images of science fiction spelling out Coexist. Then of course I had this as my desktop wallpaper image that Lyle would highly approve of

The Best parts of a man named Lyle (pt.1 of ??)

Hello All,
  As you all know Yesterday officially marked the year point since my step brother Lyle Watson was rushed to Kadlec hospital because of a blood colt on his brain. I know that I have happen to of put up a lot even though not all posted yet parts of Lyle under this very label and more than anything even if at times it has been worded the same or sounded the same it sure as HECK DOESN'T MEAN I LOVE HIM ANY LESS! One very good thing Lyle loved to do was understand life in simple terms and one thing he just loved doing was spotting things in either a movie he watched or a television series because it was one thing he couldn't stand was a bit of detail weather BIG or Tiny couldn't be left to chance no matter what? He was like I have said before a huge fan of since fiction especially Star Trek stuff or Star Wars of the main two ongoing legacies Still he did like of Star Trek The Next Generation and of course The Original series  and all of their feature films at least I thought he did now talking of the latest two new ones"Star Trek 2009 and INTO DARKNESS" I never got around to having such a conversation about with him but I'm sure he did have very strong concerns of how much the latest one "INTO DARKNESS" ripped  off most if not all of it's story from the all time best Trek film of Trek Fans known  of course as Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan.  I also know he loved J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings films he wouldn't find a darn thing wrong with those and even if he did I'm sure he overlooked them but then again who knows expect Lyle and God for sure!    Here is what I have as my cover photo on Facebook in Lyle's honor:
