Hey all.
By kid things, I don't just mean relating to children only. I mean a few other types of kid type thinking is what I felt like for the whole day myself. My friend that I was talking about a few weeks ago named Mason came into the store with his grand parents to give his mother some relief time of having the excitement of having a new baby. And boy like any BIG Brother he was filled with glee just as much as his mom was. I remember asking "Mason how are you liking it with your new baby brother here now?" his face widen into a great big smile and he said "I love him and guess what Matt?" I of course replied "What Mason what is it?" he said "I also got to hold him too and you know what else Matt?, I just love him because he's my brother", this brought a smile to my own face as well. Mason went with his grandparents to get something for his mother, but before doings so he and I went over to where we have musical sound greeting cards and I pointed out some classic characters to him like POPEYE the sailor man, among other kids cards to go with the with the flowers that his grandma was getting for his mother, I was just thinking it would be cool if Mason gave his mother something as well. Later in the day my other little friend that I've known almost forever named 
Gabbi came shopping with her mom Lisa and like always I spent some time with them while loading their car with their groceries listening to Gabbi's excitement over the past few days and a "WHAT IF Gabbi was President story of what would she do?", after helping them I went to go collect more shopping charts. Lisa honked at me as she circled the parking lot to tell me that Gabbi had just proved what a great little girl she is. Gabbi had asked her mom "Hey Mommy do you know why Matt is so very good at what he does?" and Lisa said, "Well why don't you figure it out, but why Gabbi?" Gabbi went on to say " I know why he's good at what he does...and it's because he is so kind". When Lisa told me this it of course brought me a great big inner smile for the rest of the day. Then I was talking to another Albertson's employee about the mailing brown paper you'd use around cardboard boxes from a long time ago, I'd asked her if she ever remember having a grown up draw her body's outline on it. I then asked her how would she fill in with something like her favorite toys she played with or maybe even how she'd see herself later on in life. I of course shared what I did to those in someways, like I liked superheroes even back then and yes I'd even fill my own outline with them but one time I remember making myself into a fireman at least from one time that I can remember. She told me something she recalled as a kid having fun with. So after sharing all of these stories and memories with you all, I can safely say sometimes life as a kid maybe challenging at times or maybe not, but at least you can have fun in BIG WAYS. So hopefully for all adults reading this have a chance to remember being a kid again.
Yesterday was a day to honor everyone's father, and I hope as fathers go that those of us who have kids did enjoy the day with them, with that said today is the first day of summer. What will summer mean to you will it mean more time at the movies, or catching up with friends you haven't seen in days or months, maybe even in many years of time. Will you go on that long awaited family vacation you've promised everyone? If you are a kid I'm sure you want to go to a pool sometime over this summer? Have you ever thought about what you can learn about things about yourself you like or don't like over the summer? like some people may like tending to your garden or some people may learn over the summer about a certain fear they may have like Water skiing (for me this was more of embarrassment, than fear) but you get my drift I hope anyway. For me my summer will be filled with reading books and at sometime overcoming my fear of my creative self. I also hope to spend time with family and friends when I can outside of work. The funny thing is with today being the first day of summer it sure as heck fills more like a spring day for some reason here in the Tri-Cities.

Once again it is another nice June Sunday, but not just any June Sunday today is the day we are needing to pay tribute to All men whom are or soon to be Fathers. I know that I keep saying I want to be a father myself one day, but I just am not sure if I know what LOVE is meant to be also I have always have had a rough time getting to know my own father Micheal Joe Byrd but that is a story for another time besides I can always call him and say "Hi how are you dad I just wanted to say I love you even though, I don't say it enough I'm glad to be one of your sons of your three children that you had with mom". If you all can recall back on a certain weekend last month it was "Mother's Day" I'm not sure that I can express enough that truly if you are a son or a daughter and have a father you should be able to have everything be the best thing in the whole wide world, for not everyone who has the drive to guide a young son or daughter in the fairest of learning about life can be a bad parent or the all around best parent either. I know that finding time to spend with our families is harder for most males, but this is because men for the most part are to be the true backbone of his/their family in almost every way you happen to see I didn't say "every way" for what father can be absolutely perfect NONE. Just like any or every mother as well can't be perfect, what matters most as a parent is that you try your best in passing on your value of life on to your offspring and it doesn't need to be that your adopted or brought into a family as a step sibling as a child. What matters most is that you respect your parents as you do your friends. A father can be just as important as mothers in life they BOTH LOVE YOU no matter what and that is something a lot of children lose sight of, but like I just said it matters always because we never know when we could have them not be there for us till it's too late sometimes.....to Dad and Chuck Watson I love and respect you both for all that you've helped me to learn in this journey we call life.
Hey all of you enjoying this flight with Peter & Mary Jane, do I have something to tell you that's cool for sure, and it starts in a way with Peter's comment in the last panel. If you will all remember not long ago I posted about having seizure at the Cathedral Joy during the Men's fellowship breakfast not long ago. For the longest time I did NOT have my own primary physician, but my mother is wanting me to have one since I may at some given time have another such problem with having a seizure or just a common cold, since she lives out of the county now she got in touch with her friend that rents their old place here in Richland, the nurses at Kadlec hospital said they as well would like me to get in tune to a primary doctor too. She had asked her friend to help me find one, so her friend got in touch with my insurance to find out who will work best with their plan. She had found one doctor at one of the smaller Kadlec out reaching clinics, when we were heading there she told me his name sounded in pronounceable way Ramen like as in those cheap nooldes Top Ramen. After filling out five or at least five pages of paperwork we finally got to see my new physician to say he was happy to see me as I was, was both nice and not so nice. Nice in a good way for he had a new patient, but not so nice more like worried because of my sodium (salt in easier English terms of understanding for young readers of this blog), my sodium intake before seeing my new physician was two hundred and fifty eight pounds when I heard this I was like "No it's not a big deal really" or at least of all of two seconds I thought in my head at the same time. When my new physician said I have to cut down on the sodium intake I was truly scarred for I knew it will be hard to do, because every food no matter what it is, is loaded with salt. So now this I knew that my consumption of one litter of DR. PEPPER & candy had to come to a stand still all together and since I don't cook all that well I will be restricted to salads & fruit all the time but what about drinking fluids your wondering right well I need Water and lots of it. How does Peter Parker's comment here affect me now from this last panel your wanting to know well, TV dinners are quick and easy yes that though is the only good thing about them, they are also very high in sodium is there great downfall for on a sodium free or low sodium type of diet.
Hey Movie watchers or DVD collectors,
What movie have you seen in movie theaters of late?, the last one I saw was Mr.Macho in the above strip talking to Peter Parker's beloved wife Mary Jane Watson Parker. Yes I have seen ol shellhead two times already. As to what I have seen on DVD lately was the original Star Trek episode of "Space Seed" 
which eventually led to the second and still best of the original series motion pictures known as the Wrath of Khan.
No this isn't about any kind of a TREKKING movie or history I have a very transporting type of post for that, (coming very soon). I have also of late been watching that seventies series about a fellow known as Jack who has to pretend to be gay to live with two girls known as Chrissy & Janet
, then I have also been watching two car series 
from the nineteen eighties.But this isn't about any DVD series including the other show that J.J. Abrams thew to the public before "LOST" in the early part of two thousand and two 
Known as "ALIAS". This is in fact about a little movie that I was eying interest in on the Thursday before I had my seizure on the following Saturday morning at Cathedral of Joy during the Men's fellowship breakfast. I was looking at the DVD display rack at Albertson's where I work, thinking of getting a DVD of a different than my normal kind of a Science fiction, or cartoon type of movie when I was asking someone I know about the one I was taking interest he said for him "It seems way to Cruchy for his taste" which got me to thinking this is a way to help people find a way to God if they really wanted to without being forced into going to any church unless they wish to of course. It also reminded me of the DVD I got my sister in law Kathie a few Christmases ago, right off the top of my head I can't remember the DVD's title but I do remember it starred Christian singer Micheal W. Smith as a man who was trying to get a whole community to believe in Faith in our heavenly father in helping him save a old church because the city officials now want to tear it down. Now I just gave you a little clue to this new DVD title of sorts I got today and want to see soon, in the way of rereading the synopsis of that film I gave my sister in law a few Christmases ago do you think you can find the title in a way? Let's join a friend of mine named

a internet search I found it. I also know I can get it at the WAL-MART near me.
You all knew that something like this may appear here. Since I am always finding ways to get people from afar to take another look at me in a fun/serious way of life. My own answer to the above header is the very color that this posting is being written in is the one I have always loved as my all time fav. Does it in any way reflect me?, now to this I want to say "NO way JOSE", but I know I would be fibbing like anyone who is a lair. Mostly though I don't stay sad for long if I am ever blue. Yes also I like many other colors or shades of blue, but my reflection of how I try to work on a troubling problem may have me Red, with anger and a lot times I may hold it in for far to long but who has not done that more than once or twice. I also have things to help pull me from that well of sadness all the time. As you can see I like all kinds of blue but let's talk a moment about colorful Phrases what could I possibly mean by this your saying right?, well here's what I mean by that is can you think of at least a phrase where you'd use a color to describe something about facing a emotion of some kind. Come on I dare ya can you think of at least one?

I had promised in the last posting to tell you all about the history of the event known as Cool Desert Nights, when I realized in the start of Part II: the race for pancakes that I had totally forgotten to share that very note. Here is how old Cool Desert Nights is seventeen years of age, I had thought it was at least twenty or twenty two years old myself as I got to thinking about writing a series on COOL DESERT NIGHTS type of blogs for two thousand and ten.Ya remember this image from last time too 
I'm sure ,and you thinking all of all sudden what a Hoggsiter zipping through the car race, I forgot to share with you there is also an event called HOGS and DOGS that run with cool desert nights it just in another part of the TRI CITIES. The race is held this year on June 25th with one also on the 24th as well. They cook things up real nice like for all the participates

enjoy the two hour race. On Saturday morning
in Jefferson park they have a huge community pancake feast put on by one of the local community civic clubs. Last year after looking around at the cars that were all over the park and uptown I ran into these two sand playing kids
and their parents. They are Heidi & Cannon Byrd my nephew and niece, after joining up with them we took a look around at all the cars on the park side. Here is Cannon just "chillin"
