Oh just another Hello from the road,
....So Yesterday was all about a traveling trek from Dublin California to Monterey California with a lot of sight seeing along the way. Once we got to Monterey we did go and see the inside of this nice place seen here
,, with my folks Nancy and Chuck Watson . Oh one thing I forgot to tell you all is we also went got for me a couple of fun packs of Kellogg's cereals in the tiny boxes for the next few mornings till we were getting to Hollywood! We started heading down the road to San Simion , California at nine am. It was a long bit of more driving for Chuck of  six or seven hours over sightseeing as we went the scenic ocean side view and with pics like this

       before even reaching a part of Californian golf resorts that just happen to have a very special thing on the other side  of them which I will get to in a few minutes time of writing the rest of this very entry. The main golf course we were heading for was Pebbles Beach  as we kept driving through other ones I was able to catch Chuck posing as a true golfer

, as to "IF HE HAS EVER BEEN ONE THE WHOLE REST OF THIS VERY TRIP,I FORGOT TO ASK HIM ABOUT IT" I think? Anyway this very area where we were is known

as THE RESTLESS SEA COURSE, So yes if you loose you ball you really DO LOOSE IT to THE SEA of course. I also just happen to get a pic of myself looking out

at the vast ocean, on this very course. The next golf course that we came upon was called    

 and at Point Joe was a famous golfer back in the day was a land developer as well and wanted every course near the ocean to have seagulls and whatever other type of birds as well and low and behold did we see seagulls?

"Yes we sure did!" This very shot I zoomed in on for a close up of a couple of islands with them on it. Still at the same given time I also saw 

          

a Chipmunk too I was in fact less than foot away from it and it just posed for me along with the seagull it was freaking awesomeness! Onward we went through the many golf courses by road when we came upon this 

very sign. Went a little further down the road and low and behold we got a even better look at  this

very tree  Then a little more of rolling of the wheels we saw what is known as the Ghost Cypress tree which shouldn't been seen right?  Still there it was

Then we from the many golf courses to finding not exactly "Pebble Beach directly for I not sure if it was closed or not so instead we found the only neighborhood within all of America that doesn't have any addresses on the houses I bet some Stars live here just maybe? Then we went and had lunch just outside the address less neighborhood and it was a town that was the most sanitary of any in California, we ate at a Taco place called "Tacos to Go" I had a steak quesadilla with which on this trip so far till now only had lemonade and I did so with this meal. After lunch we continued driving till we saw a good picture shooting place again and here is

some of what I got at that place. As to what those people were standing on really interested me so much that I went over to it after they left and here

is what it was.  Then we headed finally out again for our final destination of  San Simion  for the day and as we came into town around five pm I got this distance shot of the Hearst castle or I thought I did ?

What's that ol Willie Nelson song again? ....(Pt 4 of Zum,Zum, Fun time of Californa trip)

Hello Everybody,
  Well it always seems that when your on vacation it has to have some of the best parts end to get into the even most bonding thing known as road time. It so happens that after another round of getting up from my nephew's bed isn't so scary after all , we all got up to have another wonderful cheesy breakfast by the true cook of the Byrd/ Heririkson  household at six am Mister Bryce,seen here

from yesterday.When we all went to San Francisco and Alcatraz  By seven my sister Kylie was off to work and Bryce was off to school by eight thirty we said goodbye as each departed for their own day of  humbleness, it was at that time that Chuck went and rented our car that we will be using for the rest of  California  coastline drive. We left Kylie at around nine thirty heading towards  from Dublin to Monterey to see the famous aquarium in that city. Here is a small portion of what we saw on the way

to Monterey. Once got to Monterey we went to another Pier set of restaurants to go and eat our lunch, we went back and forth tasting each restraints clam chowder "Which two were so-so" yet the one at "Ol Fisherman's Grotto"  and here is what we all had

for lunch  Yet even though I had a calamari steak sandwich and fries, I focused on the sandwich, which my mom cut into fourth so I wouldn't have a great surprise within my lap once we got to the aquarium we had about two hours before they closed so we first started out by seeing

penguins being fed. Then we looked out at the bay around the whole aquarium to see how some of

the many tanks worked from flitting air into the tanks of fish like the

ones seen here. (that me by the way posing for mom's the adventurer at sea photo.  Oh boy you wanna talk all different kind of fish we saw some pretty cool ones  

I guess the best thing of being on any vacation no matter how long or short of time you the one who is vacationing realizes that your to forgo and forget most of your problems of the day that is the cornerstone of life and without a fishy doubt I sure did on this pat of my two thousand and sixteen vacation for I got a super good feeling that I never wanted to be a sea or ocean animal of any kind.....Well maybe that is true for mwah but as for my mother I think she thinking of being an queen of the sea  or at least she

is by standing next to one. This was taken in the part of the aquarium that was in part my favorite exhibit which was all about Octopuses when you entered the exhibit they had a set of old sci-fi  monster flicks playing on a sixteen by twenty four foot widescreen monitor. I know for sure one of them was "IT CAME FROM THE SEA" and it featured one of the octopus many tentacle arms tearing down a most famous bridge in another part of this trip that I have already shared about in place called San Francisco. This part was full of neat lighted treasure hunting seeking octopus and I also happen to get a live one in a tank but it's rather hard to see and yet just because I'm a nice guy I will show them both to you all .

 This is the top or part we mostly know of an octopus When I was trying to get the tentacles it was to dark and you weren't allowed to use your camera's flash mode because all you would get is a huge glare in your picture. One the other things that was neat in the aquarium was that they had

 the history of why Monterey was famous for as well which was the first city on the west coast to be canning Sardines here is what some of the many labels looked like

from back then. I have one more bit of information from while reading about the sardine cannery process that is neat for people who come here for reading reasons to my very blog I found out that the famous novelist

John Stienbeck was born in Salinas California, which is Monterey's largest part of governing in that part of California. Oh just so everyone knows I was able to find one of Forrest Gump's pal's little restaurant called 

Bubba Gump. If you just can't believe it either I took a photo of the front of that very place

THE PLACE KNOWN AS THE UNESCAPABLE PRISON (Pt. 3 of 17 ZUM,ZUM, FUN Vacation time)

Hello Travelers of this California storyline,
 It does seem as if when your trying to relax while one is on vacation you never really do or at least the very thinking process is there when you get up early on a Sunday morning to float your way to your next destination which turns out to be this very place between pier thirty three and a whole lot of

sea water. It is better known as the most inescapable prison from nineteen thirty four till it's closure in March of nineteen sixty three. We all got up at six and Bryce had been our chief of making breakfast in which we all yet enjoyed of cheese and eggs and toast and a juice of our choice. We all loaded up into my sister Kylie's car and headed out for Alameda to see if we could catch the ferry boat going out to pier thirty nine out in San Francisco out near the coast guard ship dry docked there only to find out that their cruises didn't start till eleven in the morning for on the weekends. So we drove to San Francisco and found a parking garage in downtown, we then went over a couple of blocks to catch the upcoming BART and that was when in the station before it came I saw this awesome

billboard. I was of course hurt that in the end of the whole day with Kylie and her son Bryce that we couldn't attend both Alcatraz and that special Anime/Comic con but still we had a whole lot of fun at walking to pier to pier from one to thirty three and here is just what some the other side of the streets included which the building seen here

,is the Tri Trans American building. Also I got a shot of where one of my folks friends named Nancy worked while

living in this part of California before retiring to Cuenca Ecuador with her husband Richard. Once we got down to Pier Thirty three and waited to board our boat I took a few shoots of the model at the

port while Chuck and Kylie got some coffee before getting on and here is some of our crew saying

"Goodbye to San Francisco for a while." "OR WAS IT HELLO PRISON TIME???" Once we got on the Prison grounds I went a watched a short history about it's history besides being a Federal Prison in the start of our tour, Does anyone besides Chuck and I know that it was used as a fort for defending the west coast way back in eighteen  forty six till eighteen forty eight it was a military fort to keep California from Mexico during the Mexican- American war.  In Eighteen fifty  nine till eighteen sixty one was a fort during that time the  military had to fight to keep it's confederate soldiers locked up tight in a cannon fortified prison, before even our president Abe Lincoln had this in mind

of being said. It wasn't until nineteen twelve that military gave it to the state of California for their own means of use. From that time many crimes were on the rise because of the Great Depression. So the United States Department of Justice opened it on October twelfth, nineteen thirty three and in a few long amount of months into the year of nineteen thirty four it was given to Federal Bureau of Prisoners an given that it housed the worst of the worst it was a place no one ever wanted to be. Still while on tour of this place I gave in to being a prisoner myself 

which as a good thing? The audio tour was neat we learned or I should say I relearned a lot of stuff since I was fifteen when I was last here at Alcatraz. We even got to see in the kitchen the meal for the last day the prison was opened 

in March of nineteen sixty three. Oh yes as to was there really an attempted escape that was successful I guess for that very answer only one these wardens seen here

really knew that answer!. After that great tour we went to pier thirty nine and had a great lunch and then we saw this one man comedy act

and he was grand and funny all at once. Here he was tossing a marshmallow into his on stage help from the crowd.

The most important part of this Vacation thing called family! (Part 2 of 17 Zum,Zum Fun!)

Hello everyone,
   Well as you all know or may not know that this year's plans of my vacationing with my folks Nancy Powers Watson and Chuck Ross Watson ended up having a MAJOR OCCURANCE HAPPEN. See original we were planning to be going to Europe, specifically France to a city of grand art places known as Paris, but after the terrorist attacks by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and Syria more commonly abbreviated as ISIS from back during last November in 2015 shocked a lot of people around the world. It was hard for a lot of those same shook up people that were planning to visit Paris turned about if they would still feel safe if they were to travel there for pleasure, besides if you work in that part of Europe and were a foreigner you had to deal with the straws that you are dealt for your lively hood mattered on your income no matter what! 
     Still after hearing of this national impact on the city of love in the world my folks and I were thinking of more at home okay within the united states kind of traveling would be a better safety cushion for the given time. We had thoughts of going to the grand canyon or Yellowstone national parks as our plan of attack for my vacation time out and away time from Albertsons that was until mid February....when we decided to go to California and visit universal studios. I took sometime to think on that and decided that I would be more in lighting on going and seeing the greatest starred filled  sidewalks of America among other things.....
         This morning my folks and I left from the Pasco Best Western Inn, usually we stay at the Red Lion in Pasco when we are headed out from my vacations yet they were just full this time around so that is the backstory of while we didn't stay where we do most every time when leaving the Tri Cities. We boarded a Delta  plane and flew to Slat Lake Utah  and here is a photo my mom got as we

were touching down on the tarmac. We then continued on to Oakland California and we took the BART and no I don't mean that kid famous from Matt Groening cartoon series that gets into trouble no matter what, It's also the name of California's inter connecting state wide railing system. We found ourselves having to take a city bus to get to the right BART to get to my sister's Kylie's town of Dublin and while waiting for that one BART interchange I happen to spot a very popular sport

stadium seen here. Yes it is true I saw the Oakland Raiders football stadium alas from afar but I still saw it which is pretty sweet. While on that BART interchange I took two really cool photos one is this map

, and this one of a chance not to miss a ball game of baseball for that very matter either. As we were going through Oakland on the bus we or I should say I saw a really neat photo opportunity but missed it of a big Green sign that in white letters it said "CANNON'S CONSTRUCTERS" and just so you know this isn't the only time on this venture where I saw my other nephew's name so prominently featured either. Once we got to Dublin we drove to my sister's place and my nephew Bryce made us some cheese sandwiches with our choices of cheese on the sandwich for lunch and then he showed me all of their home and everything he does to help my sister around the place, it was then after looking at some his old superman comics that my sister Kylie suggested that Bryce and I go to the local comic shop which was about three miles away. Bryce along the way told me some cool stories and when we got there we spent a good two and half hours or so it seemed to me like it was that anyway. Here is Bryce with his stash of comics

,that uncle Matt got him on Free Comic Book day which is of course the first Saturday in May. While there at that shop I also picked

these up for myself 
     As we were headed back to Kylie's place we got a Surplee and a Big KITT KATT bar that Bryce shared with me when we walked around their Connor and saw the folks and Kylie headed to a California Swiftstop which is much like a GOODWILL or a VALUE VILLAGE to just look around, when we were done there we went for dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant and I had a very interesting seaweed soup and finally before heading home for our first night in the golden state we went to a Wal-Mart so mom could get some cereal she wanted.... and on the cereal aisle I also saw one more thing that I wished I would had my camera for which I guess was a Wal-Mart special in California it was a STAR WARS cereal box with R2-D2 on it.

The start of a fast pace thing called releaxing! (Part 1 of 17 Zum Zum fun!)

Hello everyone,

     Well it has been a whole year or nearly a whole three hundred and sixty five days since I have seen these two very wonderful

,people. Known as my mom Nancy Watson and my step father Chuck Watson (Nha NOT Really I saw them last both around the end of October and the first week of November), which have been here for a week. Since that time they have been busy helping me get ready for my trek to Hollywood and many other things along the way while on the way there. Meanwhile they have been having fun seeing my brother Michael's family and spending time with them as well while waiting for today with it being my last day before my big  adventure or is it more like adventures. We have been having lunches and dinners with  my brother and his family    

at Sterling's restaurant over on Queensgate road. We have had dinners with this roaring bunch a couple times since mom and Chuck have been here in their small span time at Dickey's which is also right in the same area as Sterling's in, and at old country buffet just last night where everyone said their goodbyes for two weeks of time. So I will make sure that I say bye to all of my coworkers at Albertsons since it will seem like a lifetime till I see all of them again or at least I hope it will feel like that for a week or so?' I don't really know for sure??? With my folks here at my place helping me get ready all I really can hope for is did I hopefully pack my carry on  that I think I'll need and all I can say for sure is I feel that I'm rearing to Hit the Road Mister Jack or eventually we will that I know of... Oh darn sorry I just forgot something really important for sure and that is no one named Jack is going with us I must be really ready huh?

Why being funny truly matters......

Hello All,
 You know that there is always one very important thing that keeps me sane in this crazy big wide world of ours....and I know that I may have shot through here on the blog in many more ways than needing to be said.....So just why is it that we as a species need to be our own given punching bags at times in our speck of time referred to as life, we know that everyday no matter who it is we are at times we take our time on earth as a matter of fact measure that we must always be so flipping serious at everything we all do! With today being good ol April Fool's day, I really want to get into the meaning of "Why being funny truly matters......" I know just as I said sometimes life throws us more than we can handle like: Great happiness with a job, or a new friend in helping us learn both sides of ourselves, or even the greatest test life gives of having children and loving them no matter what.is  in between". To also "Dealing with the passing of someone we all love, To dealing with whatever personal demons we have but wanna find those answers on our own.... Now I know that I just went and talked of our given highs in our journey of existence to our well mended choices of having us wrought our very own end as well, Still I know that we all need to flesh out at times the reason to be over the top and just plain full of a true heart of laughter. For should we have life full of seriousness all of the minutes of breathing we are forever lost to not only the world but ourselves too. 
        We need at times to be called  silly and crazy people, or even sometimes our greatest nicknames from when we were children helps us understand our needing knowledge of why being a "giggle box" at times helps our drive to be our own punching bags when we are at our lowest can do a bunch of healthy filling of what the human or in my case the alien soul needs. No so I'm not an nutty alien nut or a nutty alien in need of peanut butter, but at times I could be in a jam of any color of jelly trying to figuring out the puzzling gooey mess of any day. Weather how it is really given to me in context I know that making the answer into a joke or a pun for the most part always pours out a great breaking of a smile from yours truly. Now the one main person I know that I can say showed me all of this greatly was my granddaddy Ben Powers. 

        He always knew how to tell a  me a grand story, and make it always be worth the weight of a gold bar of laughable feathers that had me in tears. Granddaddy was a humbled soul forever full of wise banter that made me think of many things that I realized I will cherish about my need for being a humble hearted soul myself, especially when it's land in my lap that it's the pranker's day of the whole year called, April First. Also commonly termed April's Fool day. Now always having our inner little one, or child, or whatever we wish to have it be known as, has to be accessible at all times for everyone needs to  notice at certain parts of our journey through God's greatest gift is a built tally board of healing ourselves with humor at times and as well it's a great folly for helping us understanding of being grabbing our belly and falling to the floor or against the wall is very much a need we all strive to hope to relate with so we can be our greatest selves at any time.
        Let's get into some really funny stuff right now shall we with our Star Trek chess winner from last month known as Mister Montgomery Scott whom was portrayed by actor James Doohan (who died on July 20th 2005 at the age of 85.) His character was known forever as the miracle worker of the starship with the registry number NCC -1701 and her name is U.S.S. ENTERPRISE. Doohan played many of the side characters in both the original series and the short lived animated series that ran in the latter nineteen seventies before resuming the role of the chief engineer for seven out of ten of the motion pictures.


  
   Now remember I said at last month's round up of famous quotes by this very character may play into a triple outings. So here is my most beloved saying of  Scotty from the original series, Scooty " Well Captain er.....the Kilngons can you a tin plated overbearing swaggering dictator with delusions of godhood." Kirk "Is that all?", Scotty " No sir, they also compared you with a Denebian Slime Devil." Kirk " I see" Scotty "And then they said that you were a......" Kirk " I get the picture Scotty." Scotty "Yes Sir" Kirk "And after the Kilngon said all of this, that's when you hit the Kilngons." Scotty " No Sir" Kirk" NO?" Scotty" No I didn't. You told us to avoid trouble" Kirk "Oh Yes" Scotty" And I didn't see that it was worth fighting about. After all we're big enough to take a few insults? Aren't we?" Kirk" What was it they said that started the fight?" Scotty " They called the Enterprise a garbage scowl sir." Kirk "I see. And that's when you hit the Kilngon?" Scotty " Yes SIR!" Kirk " You hit the Kilngons because they insulted the Enterprise, not because they....." Scotty " Well Sir, it was a matter of pride." Kirk" All right Scotty Dismissed. Oh Scotty your restricted to quarters until further notice." Scotty " Yes Sir! thank you sir! That'll give me a chance to catch up on my technical journals!" Kirk "Another Technical journal Scotty?" Scotty "Aye" Kirk "Don't you ever relax?" Scotty " I am relaxing." This if you couldn't guess was from the famous episode titled  "The Trouble With Tribbles" Scotty character like Leonard McCoy, and Mister Spock from the original series made guest appearances on the series that followed years later called "TNG" which stood for THE NEXT GENERATION, and here is Scotty best part of his episode titled "Relics" 

Scotty walks up to a holodeck Computer interface and the computer voice ask "Please enter program" Scotty "The Android at the bar said you could show me my old ship. Let me see it." Computer interface "Insufficient data please specify parameters" Scotty " The ENTERPRISE show me the bridge of the ENTERPRISE you chattering piece of....." Then there is his chat with a non interfacing voice commanding computer in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home when he and Doctor McCoy are sent to find a containment for the whales that Admiral Kirk and a reborn Spock are trying to find in the past of earth history to communicate with a probe in the twenty third century. Scotty Computer!, Computer? ( He is handed a mouse and he speaks into it) Scotty " Hello Computer." Dr. Nichols " Just use the Keyboard" Scotty "Keyboard how quaint."

Now that I have gotten the second most famous Captain of Star Trek lore and the first will surprise all fans no matter what as if you don't happen to know already, also I put into the Star Trek chess game the first engineer Montgomery Scott who is the next Trekking character to face my endearing  wrath... Well here is your thoughtful character for the month of April, It's

Now it's time to end my dazing thoughts of being a practical joker for one less more day even if it is the best day to be my own kinda Fool if ye the Foolish day of the whole year with my other snappy happy game of plate time. It's a Green eyed Spider-man that I'm sorry I just thought the glowing peepers were just perfect is what I will be please to grant you because the suit has no known use for this Spider-Man fan because it was used only twice in a set of stories known as "BIG TIME!" AS for my desktop gracing for last month's setting of Green everywhere I found this nifty colored SPIDERMAN movie poster on the web and know it to be just a little odd but cool crossover if Spider-man were hiding like a glow bug or rather a glowing  Spider I mean.. 

Who Knows maybe he really did decide to finally see if he Peter Parker could make himself like his pal the Green Goblin or worst yet a creepy version of The incredible Hulk to help a guy known as Banner outta being so full of rage all the darn time?
